Very helpful and pleasant staff

Well for starters. If you are broke and need food assistance. They will make it Extremely difficult. They have this thing where, once you get EBT benefits, if you are able bodied. You must meet all the requirements and join the work/volunteer program. Which means you have to fill out 20 hrs + a week. Which is fine. Very understandable. But in the real world, its a lot more difficult than that. It doesnt matter if you were job searching all summer and you applied online. And you filed out 200 applications over the course of a year. That doesnt count. So when you dont do EVERYTHING they tell you, or you do it differently, they mark you as incompliant. And you get a sanction. Which is like getting grounded from food stamps for a month or 2 or more. Their rules are IMPOSSIBLE to follow. But what I dont understand is why I have to spend so many hours volunteering when Nobody needs volunteers that many hours. Or maybe they dont want to overdo the tasks afraid the volunteer might get overwhelmed and just quit. So they really only have us volunteer 10+ hours? Another thing is, as good and loyal as an employee a person can be. If employers are hiring (and they are really hiring All over the place) But they are not hiring YOU. Theres nothing you can do about it. You cant walk into a business and point a gun at them and make them hire you. (no pun intended) but tbh theres really nothing you can do about it. But anyway most applications are online and has a 45 minutes questionaire. And takes a good hour or two to complete. For one job. On a good day I can do 3 applications and know that I did a really good job. Because it takes all day to get it done. You go to Work source for resume/job search help and get very little to unhelpful help. Half their agents are inexperienced or just uncaring about who they help. Idk but Ive had a couple who Really messed up my resume and it really frustrated me. All in all my experience there with worksource has Never been a great one.

No calls or emails returned. Ive tried to leave messages but they direct you to a number thats not available. Ive sent emails keeping them updated in my search. Ive emailed them asking for help and no one got back to me. Then I find out Ive switched case managers....ugh its just too much.

Just dropped off some paperwork

Pathetic loser, criminal crooks. 15 yrs of my life they waisted in making me think that they were the only option while stealing away any unemployment, financial or rental assistance needed to get away from them who would never actually do right by anyone. They are just big bad guys bullying, and harassing threateningly anyone who comes through their doors in the name of oppression. Pigs. They are that see through. Never allow your gov. Information to go through these types of places. The feeling in the pits of your stomach is 100% correct to walk away. They are incapable of being polite in the right way and keep an officer around for that reason. Police makes them more equipped and capable of doing you wrong without your say.

They are very helpful however, the parking lot is a bit difficult to maneuver

If I could give this place negative starts I would. I have an appointment today (5-9-16) at 1 pm. My daughter is 3 months old. She is exclusively breastfed and refuses to take anything except the breast. I have literally tried Every bottle and nipple I could find. Short nipples, long nipples, wide base nipples, square tip nipples, small nipples. Ive tried Every brand; Playtex, avent, joovy, Gerber, medela, lansinoh, Como tomo and many more. She just refuses Ive tried for weeks. Ive even tried different times of day. Its always breastmilk thats been warmed in a bottle warmer. She wont take it she just screams and screams. Ive tried for two hours to get her to take a bottle she still just wont. The nurses in the hospital couldnt get her to take a pacifier either. The people in this establishment tell me its just impossible for me to bring her with me. She even has a boba baby carrier wrap that she stays in shell just eat until she falls asleep. She stays in this thing for hours when Im out in public she never makes a sound. It took two weeks of constant phone calls for me to even get a hold of these people. And they dont care. I even explained the situation to the supervisor who just replied thats unfortunate. Its unfortunate my daughter has to be left with someone at home against my will unable to eat or nourish herself. Thats a pretty basic thing. So she gets to cry for 5 hours because you people wont allow her to eat. I have never in my life been so upset with a business.

No response from case managers on their OSST website, its become nearly impossible to get a hold of anyone to verify that I am now employed, it hasnt been a pleasant experience so far.

Its ok but they watch you too much cant relax

Every time Ive had to deal with career source I am treated like a low class human being. Ive taken tests there and tried to have them help me find a job. I dread having to speak with anyone in this company.

They do not call you back and tell you again about your case, Ive been trying for 2 weeks now to talk to someone.

Their full of it I have been on their program for 6 months and neither time did i recieve any of the assistance they promise us in orientation.
