My daughter struggles with math and has been going to Sylvan for almost 6 months. She goes twice a week and I have seen so much growth in her academically. Her confidence has increased and she loves going there. The teachers are caring and patient and they keep you informed on your child’s progress and make suggestions that will benefit your child’s academic needs. Thanks Sylvan!!❤️

If your thinking about giving this place a try you should !I have had a difficult time helping my boy to meet school requirements and he just kept falling behind and his speech wasn’t anything better and required speech therapy through the school. So after two years in kindergarten and two years of speech therapy nothing worked, expect this place. Within the first week my boy was coming out from Sylvan more confident, speaking clearly and saying words he wouldn’t have before. His grades have improved which is what I hoped for.We’ve been at Sylvan since late July and my boy loves it’s. Thank you Sylvan

I started working with Sylvan learning center 8 month ago as a transfer from the great NW. Sylvan is a excellent place to gain experience with kids as well develop teaching skills with a diverse population .THE MAIN skill that I utilize when a students says I cant, replace it with I think I can and lastly, with Sylvan coaching, patience and understanding that every student has different learning abilities all will be able to say with confidence I know, I can! ! .Artonyon Ingram

I honestly can not say enough great things about Sylvan Learning Center in Jacksonville, NC.My 6yr old son is having a very difficult time with learning how to read and just in the short amount of time he’s been attending Sylvan and working with Mr. Tony, his reading skills have improved so much.Even to the point that his teacher has noticed!The staff is so very friendly, welcoming and attentive!The Director, Autumn is always so patient along with being very pleasant when answering all my questions! She is also outstanding with her communication skills.I always tell her she is the perfect person for her job and she truly is!!I highly recommend this Sylvan Learning Center because they have made such a profound differencein my sons life!

When my daughter was transferred from another school she was behind, not only did she catch up but she excelled. Ive enrolled her again, and because of the great small group sessions she learns quickly.

This is only my 5 year old daughters 2nd week and we are super duper pleased with how amazing the staff is! They are all welcoming and so kind. They are patient when I had so many questions. They communicate so very well. And I love how they teach each child according to their needs. They don’t just teach all the children one learning method, everything is made personal to each child! I definitely recommend Sylvan!!! Autumn was such a blessing with helping me pertaining to my daughter and what she needed!

I cant say enough good things about Sylvan Learning Center in Jacksonville NC. My granddaughter is being tutored there by Ms. Colleen. She has helped her in many ways, including understanding math concepts and building confidence in her ability to do the work. Both Autumn and Colleen have been very patient and kind to both me and my granddaughter. I highly recommend there services.

My family has had a great experience with Sylvan Learning of Jacksonville. I reached out initially when my son was having problems in his 9th grade biology class. Not only are the instructors friendly and knowledgeable, they make my son feel comfortable and allow him to ask questions and move out of his comfort zone in order to seek information. My son raised his grade from a D to a B and we will continue to utilize the service for him to maintain his level of proficiency.The facilities are clean and foster a healthy learning environment. The staff are very responsive and truly want students to succeed. I cannot recommend enough!

I am so grateful for Sylvan! My son started in public school for kindergarten and 1st grade. We decided halfway through 1st that he needed additional help. We put him into Milestone academy. What a difference already just there within a few weeks. The principle later let me know that sylvan would be a great addition for him. My son went into second grade on a kindergarten reading level. I can absolutely already see a difference and he is actually excited to learn to read. He has come so far already. I will recommend both sylvan and milestones to anyone who will listen.

This is one the best investment in our grandson’s future we have made! His tutors are dedicated to helping him learn and have been instrumental in encouraging him to succeed. With each new skill that he masters his confidence and love of learning grows. His life will forever be changed for the better because of what he has learned here.

Started my son getting help with Algebra 2 and even after just a few sessions he is understanding more than ever. Having the opportunity to sit 1-1 and ask questions and get clarification has been extremely helpful. Only regret is we didn’t start this earlier in his schooling!!

My daughter has been attending Sylvan for about 6 months now and we are blown away by the support and quality of teaching that happens here. Autumn has been crucial in assisting our family with ways to foster educational growth outside of sessions at Sylvan. I have never met a more caring and dedicated set of staff. They provide individualized plans and want to see the children reach their potential. My oldest daughter attended Sylvan when she was in the 3rd and 4th grade. She struggled with reading for most of her elementary years. The Sylvan programs helped her to master her reading up to grade level. Which, at the time, she was in the 4th grade. My wife and I received orders to the west coast so we had to end the program. While on the west coast, she got on the honor roll for the first time on the 3rd marking period in 5th grade and hasnt missed the honor roll since. She is now a Junior in high school and is still an honor roll student. To me, if we hadnt requested the help of Sylvan learning, Im not sure how she would be educationally. Currently, my youngest daughter attends Sylvan learning and she has improved tremendously in her reading.

My Grandson has struggled in the school system for a number of years. We have hired individual tutors and I spent time trying to figure out what we could do to help him. I asked around and Sylvan kept coming up in conversation. My friends were highly impressed with Sylvan. I finally decided thats it we will give Sylvan I try. I can tell you that the only regret I have is, Not signing him up for Sylvan earlier. My grandson has shown much progress in a short time. I can see the difference in him on a daily basis. He has improved with his studies while enrolled in Sylvan. I would recommend Sylvan to everyone.

My daughter came to sylvan at a kindergarden reading level in the third grade. In just under a year she has mastered almost 3 grade levels. The staff has been amazing to work with and take every childs needs in to account. Mrs. Truesdell is amazing to work with and goes above and beyond to help the students. Words cannot even being to express how greatful I am with sylvan learning center.

Sylvan has helped our daughter tremendously, weve even signed our youngest up. Although, we will transfer out of state soon, there is an opportunity for us to use the services in our new area. I cannot recommend Sylvan enough for your tutoring needs!

When your son leaves Sylvan and says, Wow Mom, math is fun when you have someone to help you, you know you have made a good decision to send him to Sylvan Learning Center. I would recommend Sylvan if your child is struggling in a subject. It is worth the money.

Sylvan learning has really played a huge role in my familys education!! The staff has really improved my brothers knowledge of geometry-his grades have improved immensely. I have gone several times for AP test prep. The tutoring sessions have prepared me well for exams-the content we over appeared on the exam and the test strategies have helped. Overall, the teaching staff at Sylvan is incredible. They make sure students thoroughly comprehend concepts through engaging and knowledgeable teaching. :)

We came to Sylvan in hopes to help my daughter with her grades. My daughter was able to bring her grade up from a D to a B! She has learned confidence and methods to help aid her in succeeding. They are at Sylvan;patient,punctual, encouraging and very helpful. I truly recommend their program! Worth every penny.

My daughter was struggling with math and needed some extra help for her homework assignments and also to prepare her for her math tests. She went to Sylvan two days a week and really enjoyed the time and attention. She was able to complete her homework assignments, while asking her tutor questions, which helped her get good homework grades but also helped prepare her for her exams. Her math grades steadily increased and so did her confidence. She will be prepared for her assignments for the rest of this school year and we will use the tutor to help her prepare for her math finals. I have no doubt she will be prepared and have success. The Learning Center has really been helpful, the customer service is great whenever I have questions and needed to call. We will be signing my daughter up for the SAT prep course this summer through Sylvan and look forward to our daughters continued success with the help of the Learning Center of Jacksonville.

Sylvan has made a significant improvement in my childs math grade! I am very pleased with the service Sylvan has! They truly care about the student, take one on one time to learn about their abilities and create a plan to help them advance in their studies. My daughter loves going because they also make it fun for her to learn. They set goals with her and help her achieve them. Monthly progress reports with parents so we are informed of their progress and answer all questions we may have. Sylvan has a GREAT program and we will continue to use them and recommend them to anyone looking to help their children succeed with their academics! Thank you Sylvan!

I just wanna say this place as done wonders for my child. My little one is 5 years old and in kindergarten and had some confidence issues which made her fall way behind on the learning curve and this establishment took her and helped her like school again! We have enjoyed Sylvan. As a homeschool parent you sometimes need an outside party for supplemental lessons or for clarification on higher subjects. The Chemistry instruction was a life saver and we will be using Sylvan extensively for precalc.

Its a HUGE relief to know that I found SPLASH tutoring support here at Sylvan. Homework time was very difficult for me to help my daughter, but now, not only does she receive homework clarification but extra help in Spanish with the Sylvan SPLASH tutor!
