I’m glad I participated in brain balance. It helped me on so many different levels and everyone was so nice. It was a risk I was willing to take in the beginning and now looking back I’m glad I took it because I’m mentally so much better from the beginning. Thank you brain balance :)

Brain balance provides a comfortable environment for the employees along with the children! We all have one goal in mind... to help the children grow: in their confidence, their academic performance, and their strength. I truly enjoy coaching at brain balance! The children work so hard and learn so fast! It’s truly amazing what we get to do everyday! My sister was diagnosed with dyslexia in the first grade and I understand how hard is on the family. They don’t give you a check list on how to help or what steps to take. But brain balance does! They provide the information for success and to strengthen the weak side of the brain to improve overall performance. Because my sister sought help at such a young age she was able to grow that confidence and thrive academically. In her college career she made the deans list every semester and graduated with honors! We are so truly proud of her for overcoming her disability and not letting it hold her back! I hope to give this to all the children at brain balance! With our nutrition plan, assessments, and training these children are able to work past any disability with ease and patience. Brain balance provides everything a child needs to thrive!

After my nephew went to this center his entire life changed for the better. He was able to focus, learned techniques on how to relax, calm and soothe himself. He was able to go outside and play and now is involved with so many sports and activities. It makes my heart happy to see such a difference in his life and I would highly recommend Brain Balance Center.

Our son was diagnosed with ADHD and we were looking for some alternatives to medication. The evaluation provided us with a better understanding of the underlying issues he was dealing with. By following the Brain Balance program and using their detailed dietary guidelines, we have been able to minimize his medication usage and allow him to succeed in school. It requires dedication on the part of the child and the entire family, but the staff was so supportive - and continues to be helpful even after he completed his program.

When we arrived for my sons assessment we knew we were at the right place. We saw a sign with my sons name and every step since then bas been just that personalized and helpful. I do the virtual program and just started week 3 and feel hopeful for the first time in a long while!

I am always skeptical of people that seem too nice and tend to not trust anyone. They have impressed me with their consistency and results. The Brain Balance program helped with our daughter, but we had to be diligent about the work required on our end with home exercises, diet change, and minimizing screen time as well. We really wanted to avoid medications and the potential side effects. We’ve seen significant changes in our daughter’s behavior!

My son has been in the program for going on 6 weeks and I can already see a major difference in his attitude. One of the major things I have noticed is his ability to follow directions the first time they are given without being asked numerous times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Reviewing as someone who has participated in the Brain Balance program, I can proudly say that it is amazing and helpful. If youre wondering whether this actually works or might help your child, I can tell you that it has helped me and my little brothers many ways. It takes a lot of hard work from both sides, but the Brain Balance coaches have no problem answering any questions you have and you end up being happy to put in the work. My brothers and I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Nancy and as she guided us through the exercises, keeping us engaged throughout, I knew this was a job she loved. Whenever the exercise confused me or I didnt understand what the point was, Ms. Nancy easily explained to me how the connections in the brain are made or why a certain smell stimulates the left or right side of the brain. Personally, I know that my anxiety has decreased since starting the program and Ive noticed I dont get startled by small things anymore (this is a primitive reflex I had that I never grew out of, Brain Balance taught me that). I can focus on schoolwork for longer periods of time without wanting to wonder to another website or to grab my phone to check my notifications. If you have doubts, then just talk to Ms. Jessica, the owner of Brain Balance, and youll have no doubt about it (just look at some of her replies to reviews and youll get a glimpse of what I mean). She believes in this program more than anybody and is willing to walk with you through any problem to make sure your child can get what they need.

This place has been a God-send for our family. Our son has made huge strides at Brain Balance Jacksonville. Gone are the days of hours long tantrums, low attention span, dangerous impulsivity, and walking on egg shells around our son. My son is happy, listens much better, is much calmer, really thinks things through, is able to express his emotions, and just a big bundle of love! We owe so much to this center. My family was at a fork in the road. All the other “holistic” remedies and interventions failed to help our 11-year-old daughter. Although we did not have a formal diagnosis, she exhibited worsening defiance, outbursts, and impulsivity. Our next step was to try medication to help her cope. With an appointment to discuss medications on the calendar, a friend told me about Brain Balance.I made a call to Brain Balance, scheduled the assessment, and shortly after got our results. The assessment found several areas where our daughter needed help. As a practicing physical therapist, I knew the program was rooted in science and the assessment findings all made sense to me – I knew this was the going to be the answer for my daughter and for my family.We were committed. We followed the program as directed. My daughter enjoyed the program. The center staff became like a second family sharing in the joys, triumphs, and challenges. My daughter could see and feel changes and growth over the months we attended. Upon completion of her time at Brain Balance, her brain was functioning at 100 % of her capacity! She is now equipped to handle all that life and middle school would throw at her.The power struggles, defiance, and outbursts have come to a screeching halt; she is more focused, joyful, a beast on the soccer field, and a DELIGHT! My daughter has been in brain balance for a few months and wow what a difference it has made in day to day life. Her confidence is growing every day, she sleeps better, she is trying new things. I can’t thank the staff enough!

My 3 children just completed their personalized Brain Balance programs. Originally, I only wanted to take my youngest because he was still struggling in school despite repeating 1st grade and having an IEP for 3 years and involving a student advocate. I didnt know what else to do for him. His attention span was minimal and he definitely learns differently.I researched a little more and discovered that it might possibly help all 3 of my children overcome struggles, not just academic, but emotional and developmental. The more I looked into it, the more I kept thinking that every child should have access to this. I took the plunge in February 2020 to start.I will be honest, I was saddened and felt like the center management was not honest. Pandemic closures came and I was almost glad to have a good reason to leave and ask for a refund. Long story short, after receiving highly questionable responses and trying to be patient, I involved my lawyer after not receiving services for a month due to the pandemic.To my extreme surprise, Brain Balance of Jacksonville was purchased in that month between my asking for a refund and my lawyer getting involved. I cannot fully put into words the HUGE difference this new owner makes. In all of my years, I have never met a person quite like her. Her degree of professionalism, humility, dignity, responsibility and kindness is of the highest caliber. Not only did she own what happened, despite not being the owner when it happened, but surpassed every and any expectation I could have dreamed of. Her sense of fairness and responsibility surpass my own, and I thought mine was top notch. She has taught me how to be a better human being and business owner.Months later, I am happy to finally review the service itself. My children have now completed their personalized Brain Balance programs, directly coached by Nancy the Amazing. Between my 3 children, I have been able to witness numerous improvements in multiple areas.My struggling 9 year-old that repeated 1st grade and was still 2 grade levels below his reading and writing levels is finally caught up. He no longer stares at me blankly like he has no idea what Im talking about. He is THRIVING in school and achieving straight As! His self-esteem is through the roof and no longer freezes when asked to do something he is unsure of. He asks for help, he prompts himself and has gained invaluable tools to help him move forward. His independence has grown and is doing more and more work independently.My 11 year-old is finally expressing his emotions instead of bottling them up, and being proactive about confronting them and releasing negative emotions. His middle-child symptoms are subsiding in a positive way and it is a relief for our entire family.My oldest is 14, and she has dealt with anxiety for a long time. This caused her to become overwhelmed easily, procrastinate, and other issues. Little did we know that her startle reflex was in high gear because she hadnt outgrown it as an infant. Brain Balance figured it out and she is now thriving emotionally, no longer easily overwhelmed and her mind is clearer and more organized. Its amazing how something so simple can improve quality of life! Shes gifted, and this struggle, combined with the demands of gifted programs, puberty and fitting-in at school were a worrisome combination. Now she is her happy self and thriving in every way.All of these are just some of the differences I have observed, it does not include the measurable differences we have seen in assessments, tests, etc. That numerical data fully supports the changes I have seen in my children.I can honestly and highly recommend Brain Balance of Jacksonville. Our son (11) has been going here for 4 months and we have seen major changes in all aspects of his behavior. His school work has improved, his confidence is better, his hand writing is so much better and his hand and eye coordination has greatly improved helping in all aspects for his sports. The staff is always available for help, and willing to answer any question! I have recommended this program to many people and would send anyone to this center.

My kids have been coming here for several months now. There is a change in behaviors, confidence and physical being. Its a lot of work for them and there is some work to do at home, but so far I like the changes in my kids. The one negative I have is that during a 3 day holiday weekend, staffing could be a hit or miss and they wont be able to accommodate all the kids. Even with that caveat, the staff are amazing with the kids and are extremely helpful and able to answer any questions you may have.

Im assisting my daughter by taking my grandson to BB classes. Hes been attending classes three times a week for over 6 months. I have also assisted in his daily physical exercises. Initially it was a bit rough for him but we all persisted.The staff is focused on my grandson - each visit. Gradually he has gained confidence in both the physical and educational exercises. To me the results have been impressive. Sure he still gets carried away - hes an eight year old boy. But the time it takes him to composed himself has been reduced drastically. He likes all his coaches and fellow students. At the end of the program I will provide an update to his progress.

We have been going to Brain Balance for a couple of months and are so grateful to have found it. Our son, Elijah, is making definite improvements in his processing capabilities, handwriting, and hand and eye coordination with sports. Everyone is extremely friendly, the facility is very clean and well organized and most importantly, they truly care about you and your childs well being. I highly recommend this program to anyone, there is nothing like it.

Our daughter Charlize started BB several weeks ago and we don’t see a difference in her yet, but I see the difference in us! With the 1st visit our daughter went and did her testing and we were explained the program and in talking David pointed out several things our daughter struggles with, signifying they have seen this before. He made me feel like there is hope for when I tell my kid to get ready I don’t have to make sure she does every step in the process. Hope that we won’t have a struggle with homework time, a hope that we can cut out using ADD medicine. Looking forward to seeing how our daughter grows and our family grows with it.

Since coming to Brain Balance I have seen a notable difference in my son! We went from getting home calls from the principal everyday and sad faces on our behavior chart to smiley faces everyday! We have tried everything! Several different therapies, different medications, 3 different pediatricians, etc. Nothing and I mean NOTHING has been more beneficial than Brain Balance!! I will be forever grateful to the team of Brain Balance Jacksonville for all of their hardwork and dedication to these kids!

Our 8 Y/O has benefited greatly from the Balance he has received since starting the program last fall. The progress at times seems slow, but overall the change has been positive. Working in tandem with his visits, we do the daily brain/body exercises that really help him with strengthening his mind and his body. It has helped with his feelings when he doesnt get his way. We recommend the program due to the benefits our child has shown.

My 10 year old son has been attending Brain Balance for about 2 months now and I have already seen a huge difference. Before Brain Balance, a 10 minute timeout would turn into a 2 hour fight. I can now see him him thinking before he reacts. His behavior overall has been life changing.

This has been great for my son. We found this place 3 months ago hoping to help us improve his behavior at school. He went from getting suspended to getting high praise and prizes from his teachers. It’s hard to put into words, how you feel when you really get to see your son again.We tried every kind of therapy and method that our insurance covered until all options were exhausted. He had been to Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Neurologists, Chiropractors, various pediatricians and a Psychologist. Brain Balance had always been in the back of my mind. Once the assessment was complete, I felt a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. I finally had an answer of WHY my son acted out. I just don’t want him to be labeled with a disorder and put on medication. Brain Balance is an alternative and it saved us.Dylan is a completely different person now. I finally get to see the person that was “trapped” inside his own body. My family can function normally now. So much stress and frustration is gone. We are all so much happier and most of all Dylan is! He told me does not want to act badly and he knows Brain Balance helped him. We travel, transition easily and don’t have any arguments or meltdowns. If he becomes overstimulated, he tells us. It’s effortless and that is the way it should be. He also now enjoys sports. He loves football and karate. He used to stand around and watch the football and not run or do what he was supposed to. Now he’s running for touchdowns! He also moved up to the next level Karate class and is testing for a yellow belt. His Karate instructor said they see a completely different kid now, and are so proud of him.

So happy I found this facility! We have only just started in our journey, but they have given us all the tools and support to get through. The staff is amazing and truly caring!

We cannot begin to tell you the difference this center has made in the lives of our grandson and the family that loves him. It is truly miraculous! We have gone from a 5 year old who was in the principals office almost daily to one who no longer thinks of himself as a bad to a happy kid who now gets top marks for excellent behavior every single day! If youre at your wits end and frustrated for your child you have got to do this for both of you. Put in the time, put in the work and you will see your own little miracle!

UPDATED REVIEW: We had such a good outcome for my oldest son who completed the brain balance program when he was in kindergarten. When my youngest started showing signs of struggling this past year in kindergarten, I immediately took him to brain balance. He began doing better in school after just a few short sessions and our hard work that we put in at home. He is doing things with such ease now and has gained a lot of self confidence which is invaluable when it comes to our children! Thanks brain balance and staff for all you do with these children and their families!!Brain Balance has completely changed our lives. Our son is able to sit and focus without getting into trouble constantly. We have not been in the principals office this school year for behavior issues. Overall, he is happier and feels good about the choices that he is making thanks to Brain Balance!

Brain Balance is not easy. You need to get into the program 100%. Our little girl has made great advances with the help of Brain Balance staff along with the extra effort and commitment of our entire family. We have seen quite a few positive changes and can anticipate more to come. We are getting comments from others, some that know us and some we do not know say our girl is acting better, is more polite, patient, well behaved and acts older. Brain Balance has been wonderful for my son! I’ve seen so much improvement academically. The staff creates a warm and welcoming environment. I can’t say enough good things about Brain Balance!

It was a long 6 months. We drove 1.5 hours one way, 3 days a week. BUT! We feel it was worth it. Our son is doing better in school, less impulsive, controls his emotions better and is more empathetic. We still have some work to do with him at home but all in all it was worth the time, money, and challenges to do Brain Balance.

I was skeptical at first I have to admit but we have been in the program since October. My daughter can now sit still during lessons and her grades are improving. We have noticed a huge difference in her attention span.The staff here are amazing. They always make me feel welcomed and at home. Being a parent is tough, some days we fail but the staff here are always supporting and encouraging us even on the days we don’t get it right!

They are wonderful with my kids. The program is intense but effective. Friendly staff and great customer service.

We cant begin to tell you the difference Brain Balance has made in our lives. Both of our daughters struggle academically, thanks to Brain Balance their academics have improved tremendously. I cant enough good things about the program. They also have an amazing staff.

Some of the things that are needed the most for our children are so far out of reach financially. The chances of children being in or causing a violent situation comes from families with less or no financial means to provide what is needed mentally. How many middle and lower class families have $5000 to help the well being of their child? And god forbid if the family has more than one child that could use help. We are not going to be able to make a better world until we realize its not all about the money. Food for thought. You have a child who is now disabled for the rest of their lives due to an act that a child did due to anger issues but was unable to receive help for the issues which could change their life but the money just was not there. Now we have two children with a problem maybe only due to lack of $$$$$.

They are simply the best . They treat each kid like their family . I would recommend this to everyone out there looking for help .They go above and beyond to help kids .

I have home schooled Ashley, my granddaughter, all of her life and realized early that she had a reading problem. We worked on a program for dyslexia and she was progressing. She started feeling like she was being babied because she couldnt read like other kids and I was trying to give her easy work. By the 7th grade she was becoming a behavior problem and would come in the morning with a big chip on her shoulder and was very hard to deal with. I finally told her mother that I couldnt do it anymore. It broke my heart because I knew that public school wasnt what she needed, but we didnt know what to do. My daughter found Brain Balance and we got her started. It is a lot of hard work and she didnt like doing the exercises until she noticed that she was losing weight and getting stronger. At first we didnt see much difference in her attitude, but after a couple of months, I asked her if she could see a difference in how she felt and she said, Yes, Im happy now. We still have our days, (she is still a 13 year old) but we are having a great year in school and she comes in every morning with a smile on her face ready to go to work. We have our sweet girl back and I thank God everyday that He led us to Brain Balance.

Brain balance changed my son’s life. Everything you have heard from parents who swear that the difference in their children is amazing, is telling the absolute truth. I cannot recommend them enough. It is expensive, but worth every penny.

Happy tears! A child reading may seem small for someone who has kids that learn easy and don’t have any problems with their brain. But for our kid, this is a mountain he has clawed his way up to. In December our son was diagnosed with severe ADHD. He cannot control his actions, cannot focus to do any kind of work and refused to try and read. So, what does that lead to? Failing 1st grade, constant trips to the principals office, getting in trouble at home and the worst was our six year old telling us over and over again that he is worthless, ugly and does not want to live. Any parent knows how crushing these words can be. Once we had the diagnosis we knew what to do. Our son’s sister had a processing disorder. So, she got that fixed with the Brain Balance program almost 4 years ago. We knew that Brain Balance could fix our son too. Here we are almost 4 months later. He is reading, no more trips to the principals office, he has gotten caught up to where he needs to be academically and most importantly he knows he is awesome. I am writing this to let other parents that struggle know they are not alone. They can heal their child. (No medications) In less than a month he will be graduating from the Brain Balance program with ADHD gone and most importantly a happy kid. If you have a child that suffers like mine did or a host of other brain disorders it is worth the investigation. Thanks for reading. ❤️

Brain Balance has been amazing for our family. We have seen a significant improvement with our son and sincerely appreciate the program.

We arrived at on time for our 12 noon appointment with the owner Terri. We were told she was in a meeting and to please wait a few minutes. 30 minutes later, neither Terri nor anyone else bothered to address us or apologize for the wait. Since the owners office looks right onto the waiting room via a two-way mirror, she was aware that we had been waiting. Furthermore, after we excused ourselves with the receptionist and departed, we did not receive a call to attempt to reschedule.The success of a program to help children as executed by a franchise business such as Brain Balance, is only as good as the principals of the franchise. My wife and I did not want to enter into a relationship where the welfare of our daughter was at stake with a business that would keep us waiting without the courtesy to address us with an explanation.

They could not provide the services they advertise. False advertisement. Special needs behavioral services only for certain kids. Whatever

Great coaches, made a big difference in my sons life. If your looking for a quick fix, thats not how this program works; however over time change happens....

Brain Balance has been the most rewarding process we have done to help our son with his ADHD. I was worried about the long-term effects of stimulant meds and kept looking for a solution for the ADHD. It was our experience that changing his diet (removing gluten and sugar) was as critical as the home exercises and visiting the location 3x/week for 6 months. It was a HUGE commitment and a lot of work, but the results have changed our lives:- 80% reduction in ADHD meds (1st PRIORITY FOR US)- easier friendships with other kids- teachers report that he reads aloud in class, say hes one of the kindest children- no longer on his phone or iPad - hes OUTSIDE playing and building things- better physical abilities and increased sports success- more balanced emotionally- teachers report he has not needed quiet testing in school - hes working with the class and his last report card was 1 (B) and the rest (A)- compliments others and notices details he would not before- looks people in the eye- cares more about how he looks- tells us how he feels and asks for what he needs- more independent learner- hes a normal eleven year old 5th grader and having fun!!!
