A dear sweet friend of mine grandson works for Stein Mart I guess in the Houston metropolitan area. He was informed that they would have a company party and everyone was to bring a covered dish. He informed his boss that he could not afford to bring one, being a college student on his own, would it be okay if he still attended and had food he was told no absolutely not. He went to the party and as he was told they did not feed him. This is despicable especially this time of year. Obviously Stein Mart needs to have a discussion with their supervisors. Im trying to connect via Facebook post about it but I cant get it to connect and I cant upload a picture unfortunately. Hopefully Steinmart actually read these reviews and takes it seriously.

I call and ask which of the Stein Mart locations near me would best serve my needs and the employee tries heavily to sell me on the Maggs Designs store (in crime ridden downtown). I thought this very odd so I research Maggs Designs online and find out it is owned by a Stein Mart employee.

I think they have a bait and switch on their coupons they will email all handbags 20% but the fine print excluded most of the ones they sell . When you drive forty minutes to get to the store and more than one bait and switch happens you notice . I will not be shopping here any longer
