Epic Logistics is a great company to work for and invest in.I started as a driver a little over a year ago and through hard work and reliability have grown in the company.Things that set Epic apart from other companies is the open door policy. Trevor is a great boss who does meet you where you are. If you have a concern or conflict he actively works with you.Epic also wants you to have your full 10 hour shifts. There isnt a push to be back before the 10 hours, but they do encourage and help you remain on pace. If that isnt sustainable there is retraining and coaching readily available and offered. And the community at Epic is great! We like each other. Most drivers chat in the morning and will help each other during loadout. Occasionally dinners will be provided and group activities. This is no ordinary, stressed out, dishonest DSP. This is an incredible company to work for.
This is hands down best DSP out there. The owner cares about us and works with us no matter the situation. I’ve worked here almost a year and the owner and the dispatchers have made a difficult job awesome. are you looking for somewhere to work Where you are treated like family? Look no further you won’t regret it.Work with the best!
I had a wonderful experience with one gentleman Fred Smith. He delivered my Amazon package and was so great with my dogs that came running out to him. Very professional read my note that the dogs wouldnt bite. First one to not try to run or kick at them.
Epic logistics is one of the far most best dsp companiesI’ve worked for. I’ve been to a few and he is the best he cares about your concerns and his door is always open.Really a down to earth dude and really a genuine person...
Seems nice at first. But true colors start to emerge as time goes on.Lack of clarity in promotion.Has favorites.Unjust disciplineNot really your boss Amazon controls if you get disciplined or fired.Broken promises such as if you get done early you’ll get paid your full 10 hours. You do not. And never were.Either you get a hard route or easy route.People with easy routes(140 stops or less) get praised and people with harder routes(150 stops and up) get told they need to move faster and not to take breaks even though they aren’t taking any breaks.Or there is another hindrance that is impeding your progress outside of having a lot of stops that Trevor will refuse to acknowledge and tell you there’s ways to improve when they’re aren’t.You can tell Trevor something that is legit and he’ll slightly blow it off. Just for him to come back 2 months later and repeat what you told him but he won’t acknowledge he was wrong in placing blame on you or give you any accommodation.
Very professional service
YOU THERE!!!Looking to work for EPIC LOGISTICS??WELL...youve come to the WRONG place. My affiliation to this company was through recent employment which I decided to call a quits with for the following reasons:- Above all, you dont really feel valued there as someone on the front lines doing what others are too afraid or wont leave their houses for.- EVERYDAY seemed as if you or someone else was getting called out for something that really didnt affect how you did your job. Rather than get coaching on how to improve, you are called out and told something along the lines of dont do it again.- In an effort to silence the workers, the work chat was removed from the app we utilize daily. For many of us this is a problem because our chances to voice our concerns and opinions with one another is minimized. This chat seemed to help people who needed answers that could not be answered by management...you know… because they arent the actual ones in the vans driving every day.- There are no real incentives to want to get weekly bonuses because the criteria contradict the way we are expected to drive. For instance: bonus criteria may include that you arent allowed to go over a certain amount of overtime, but you dont really control when you finish. The route is made for you and there is no telling if you get held up for whatever reason...things DO IN FACT HAPPEN.- In addition to this, many drivers noticed that drivers of color were more susceptible to be given a lower poverty-stricken area for most days, as opposed to non-colored folk, who were given more affluent neighborhoods.- You are monitored through a driving app that clocks you on every little thing, even if the occurrence recorded by the app didnt happen. (You could imagine this deems you as less qualified when called out). In addition to this, most times you must maneuver your way out of certain spots with LARGE CARGO VANS anyway and STILL get clocked.- Trevor, the manager, encourages you to use the so called open door policy, but when you bring certain issues to his attention, he plays you. He makes it seem like he will do something to help ease the problem but does absolutely NOTHING.- Nursery routes are given to new drivers, which can miss lead them from the usual number of STOPS. You could imagine this results in a lot of people quitting when they find out just how much (usually anywhere from 150-200).- If promised a rescue, dont bank on it.- You are encouraged to take your break, but then receive constant badgering about being behind in stops.- The management team is essentially full of SIMPs: lead drivers will literally stand around with other drivers and talk about the inconsistencies that, they too, have noticed, but never say anything to Trevor, although they were once in the same position.- You are expected to get to the lot early but cant clock in until a certain time.- Dont expect a raise unless you like to KISS BUTTOCKS.- When it RAINS, the company does a poor job at making sure its drivers have the proper gear to cover up, otherwise you must wait the weather out in the van (adding more time spent out on the road...i.e. things DO IN FACT HAPPEN). ALSO, there has been countless times many drivers have been mistakenly identified because they try to cover up with their own gear which contains NO company logo.- You will ONLY get paid for time worked, even if you happen to finish early.- Overall, this DSP is very inconsistent with the way they choose to handle workers concerns, as well as their safety. Basically, everything results in an infraction if not done their way. There were never any team meetings during my time of employment, which shows other drivers that Trevor doesnt really care to hear what his workers are going through. Instead hell rather listen to them in times of complaint or incident (and even then, he is really concerned on how to keep $$ in his pockets). The customers you deliver to are more accommodating than Trevor himself, and thats saying something.
Have complained multiple times that theyre not following my delivery instructions. Ive spoke directly with Amazon and had notes put in to the provider and still they do not follow my delivery instructions. They have also claimed to have handed my package directly to a resident, when I am at work, on multiple occasions. Very unprofessional work going on from this company.
They treat you well. You can make extra pay.
Best Customer Service I’ve ever encountered !!!
The job is good sure it has its ups and down like any other position but if you are willing to work hard you can make money and grow from it. I have now been with the company from the beginning and I am a lead driver. Ive learned allot from trevor and his dad over these few months I speak from experience when I tell you I was with a company that just had way to many bosses and not enough employees so it was chaos but with this company I fill I can actually accomplish something more then just a paycheck I highly recommend anyone thats willing to work hard and is a team player 😊
Former employee here..in the beginning since were working for amazon we kinda already know what comes with manual labor. The problem was that the owner Trevor had this bubbly personality at first that made you want to stay at the job. but once things started getting difficult with me and my coworkers routes and us staying out later and voices our concerns to him he kept coming up with excuses. Little did he know me and a couple of us did our own research and went to talk to other dsp for information just to find out he was lying to us about things he said he had no control over. he is a very snarky man that makes statements for the moment, forgets what he says, and then tries to make his own standards that half the time amazon comes back and tells him thats not how we are supposed to do things. and dont think you can come to him with your concerns because he going to call that being negative or unprofessional and feels that will scare the new workers away. he thinks everyone agrees with him when in reality he is losing a lot of workers because he think food will keep us happy but it takes more than that especially when all the workers are concerned for the stability when they hear the workers that started in the beginning talking about its time to look for another job when he isnt listening. so work for here at your own risk. if this is something you want to do id go to first coast dsp where they dont sugarcoat situations and value you as a person.
Hard work but pays well.
Professional and organized work environment
