This review is going to be kind of lengthy so Ill give you the abbreviated version first.Big Al is a fantastic man with a talent for cutting hair. He will be my go-to as long as he gives cuts.Now onto the longer portion.I ride by the FadeMaster shop all the time and kept telling myself Id stop in, as I was in need of a haircut and beard trim pretty badly. What caught my eye is the $5 all haircuts. For 5 bucks whats the worst that can happen? Let me just tell you, Big Al gives you super quality for the price.Al is super down to Earth, professional, and I still cant get over the cut I got. Ill say this, my wife has said that shes never seen a better cut on me, and my 4 year old agreed, and shed tell me if she wasnt happy with it.Al sat me down and took his time getting everything perfect. He wasnt like some other barbers that sit you down, rush you through your hair cut and tells you to hit the road after they charge you a rent payment for a haircut. No, Al puts an excellent attention to detail in his work. He gives you a quality cut that is worth much more than what he charges.No other gentleman will put clippers on my head. I dont have enough kind words for Al. Hes the man!

Big Al is the real deal. I visited a lot of barbers before discovering his shop and I can say I havent looked elsewhere since. Its been said before, but dont let the $5 price scare you off. Alex is very thorough and does a phenomenal job everytime. Hes a professional, very respectful, and welcomes every guest the moment they walk through the door.

By far, the most precise and meticulous barber Ive seen in the whole 7 years Ive been here. excellent fade, and even cleaned up my beard. definitely exceeded my expectations of a Jacksonville barber. DO NOT let the $5 scare you away. Big Al is undercharging, compared to the other so called barbers. I will spread the word as my new gospel, Al. The fact that you can get a great quality haircut for an affordable price is rare now days. Especially for those of us that have to have haircuts on a weekly basis. 10/10 recommend this place.

I’ve been going to Big Alex for my hair cuts for about a year now. It took me 2 years to find a barber that can cut hair right in Jacksonville. I’ve never felt rushed when I stop in for a haircut. Alex always takes his time and I don’t mean he’s slow. You can tell he takes pride in his work and gets it done right the first time. Trust me take the little drive to Fade Master it’s more than worth it.

Alex does not play around when it comes to hair. He gave me the cleanest fade I’ve ever had, mans put some kind of magic in there, cause I’ve never looked cleaner. Best believe I’m coming next week and the week after that and every week after those. If you’re in the Richlands area, definitely come here, you won’t be disappointed. And only 5 dollars?!! I arrived with 3 people ahead of me (not a bad wait he moves quickly) but within the first 60 seconds of being there he offered me free drinks and free wifi and now for a 5 dollar hair cut you cant ask for better customer service. Also haircut looks good 👍
