At long last Bill can give his review on the outside restoration of his 87 MC SS. If you are thinking of doing a restoration know it takes time and $$$. If youre looking for a company to do the outside work then Shapells should be your choice. Dropped the car off December 15, 2019 and picked ot up today 2 months later and she is BEAUTIFUL!! The Black paint is so clean, clear and deep that it takes your breath away. Dan who did the body work told us he takes each job like its his own and it shows. Everything you look at is showroom new car finish. All the decals were a perfect application as were all the seals. The Monty had some rust and Dan addressed every single area. We are now advancing to step 2 with Sergeant doing the interior then back to Shapells for the dashboard replacement and then the show final sand and buff.Now if youre looking for a fancy shop...this is not your place BUT if youre looking for quality work at a fair price this must be your place. Also high marks go to the office staff and Dawn who takes care of all the paperwork, calls and e-mails building a positive caring customer vendor relationship.Hope you enjoy the pictures.
