I have been looking for a new apartment forever, and I finally found one. The leasing agent was super welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable about everything, and made my renting journey easy!

Went to an appointment and had the chance to see units that are available. The moment I walked in to the moment I signed the lease it was a great experience. I never received better customer service from a property management.Also, the location is very clean and quiet. Very much worth the tour at least.

Red bay better known as City ridge its not a place to move to I would not recommend these apartments they have mold and mildew and when you need maintenance help good luck I would not recommend these apartments do not move here. And the AC State broke no matter how much I asked I couldnt get anybody to come fix it so it stayed extremely hot in my apartment.

We moved in on December 8, 2019. Lots of improvements have taken place as promised.We love our spacious 2 bedroom apartment. Large rooms and closets with open floor plan.We enjoy property amenities such as pool, fitness center, business center, club house and although we have a washer and dryer in our apartment, Red Bay also has a laundromat on site. We even have a trash valet service which we love...Our property manager Jessica Wright and her office team take excellent care of us always ensuring all of our needs are met.Maintenance services are prompt, kind, courteous, knowledgeable and efficient.We strongly recommend Red Bay for apartment community living.We appreciate our Red Bay family.Thanks for taking such good care of us.Anthony and Mark

Well, I moved in with my kids about a year ago. Minor issues were addressed and fixed immediately. Brittany is the lady to see. She is very professional and a woman of her word and is a nice person to come in contact with. I had to pay a higher deposit because of 2 evictions but they will accept u. I was knocked down many of times due to my evictions and was just looking for another chance to rent a Britt made that happen. It has been a long time coming for my family and me, which made me so anxious. I knew I was approved in less than 24 hours and moved in a few weeks after. It has been great so far. Also a quiet neighborhood. There are children for my kids to play with and a playground. Very comfy and spacious inside,the balcony is awesome. Rent is cool.

My wife and I lived here for just over a year, and we liked the place. Our two bedrooms two baths apartment is quite large, and any issues we had immediately. Great location!!

If you move here you will be very disappointed. I moved in and my apartment super dirty, toilet in guest overflowed first day!! The shower needs to be resurfaced. most of the cabinets in the kitchen do not have knobs and the carpet has a bunch of stains. A few weeks after moving there someone broke into both my car in the same night. The leasing office is ran by some people that are just trying to get money period! Pick somewhere else to live unless its your last resort.

Red bay is not the place to live my tub has been stopped up for over a month and still has not been fix and the Maintenance team just rides around all day and my whole kitchen is fall apart nothing has been done about.. the property Manager Jessica is no where to be seen always sick and out of the office the girls that’s in the office have no kinda of what’s going on.. the gate that we pay for don’t work half the time it’s always trash everywhere and the property manager don’t care.. so this is not the place to move

Red bay apartments Aren’t the best but they were the only place to except my eviction. This review is more about Tina than the apartments though . She has been a pleasure to work with and more than accommodating. Sometimes I walk in and she’s being yelled at but she keeps her composure and is nothing but professional. This woman deserves a raise!!! I’ve never seen someone in a more toxic work setting, yet With a smile on her face and a joke to lighten the mood! There is a friendly atmosphere and comfortable setting to live. Gated parking as well as beautiful courtyards with nice gym, and nice pool area.

Horrible place to move been here almost 10 years. New office people are so rude and disrespectful, my ac been out for 2 weeks and they still have not fixed it freaking sweating now smdh . I am reaching out to the news and every other outlet for how they treat their residents, take my rent money but will not fix my ac of all places in Florida no AC lawd. Sinks leaking, ceiling caving, mold on the ceiling had to replace alot of stuff which the refuse to reimburse me. Do not move here cooperate will not call back they do not care either. DO NOT MOVE HERE, I think the new owners are into some shiesty stuff 2 whole weeks and no call back or AC Technician at my door.

I dont even understand how these apartments are in business taking peoples deposit and then when you come in to move in they tell you theyre busy making upgrade they give you the runaround in this isnt the first time as I read the reviews Im disgusted.2450$ deposit never returned currently seeking lawsuit consultation. This complex needs to be closed down this property manager is doing something weird with the money she takes to your deposit and is unable to give it back to you when youre able to see that apartment is not up to par I dont know anyone who has successfully even moved in

Im still waiting on my deposit back. No response from corporate. No response from the office. Mind you I paid the deposit on May the 11th declined the apartment on the 1st and still nothing!Update. Its been over a month since I gave Red Bay Apartments $1,995 for a unit I decided not to take because nothing was as promised. Nothing was what I was lead to believe as far as the unit being upgraded. I clearly just decided this wasnt the place for me and did sign the lease and asked for my deposit back that I gave to hold the unit. This was on May 28th. I was told to come back on June 2 to speak with the manager about receiving my money. Well that Tues I arrived at the office just to be stereotyped and told that my money has been deposited into their account already.To be honest those money orders shouldnt have been deposited until a lease was signed. It was to hold the unit until it was done being renovated. I asked for something in writing and was told they didnt have anything to give me and to leave their property. I left outside and called 911 just to have proof of what was going on. I was given a case# and the Officer said that he was told by Ms.Tina that regional would contact me in a few hours. No one never called. Ive called Saar Management over 15 times and left messages with no response back. Ive contacted Red Bay Apartments only to be lied to By Yisel and Ms.Tina about receiving my funds. Ive been told by Ms.Tina with officers present that she was mailing it only to call 3 weeks later and be told the payment doesnt come from them. It has to be sent to the office. Theyre basically forcing me to sue them for my money. To make matters worse this process has been hell. Ive given them every opportunity to fix the matter. No one isnt trying to fix anything and Im just grateful Ive kept all emails from them to Win my case along with the Officers statement and a witness I had there with me. When Its all over they will be sorry for taking advantage of struggling people during these hard times. It might cost me extra money to sue but I will be compensated for everything they have to me through and I will get back everything I lost dealing with these people financially and emotionally. Saar Management and Red Bay Apartments will pay for causing me to be a nervous wreck.

I lived in Red Bay for a year, I didnt experience any negative things but the reason I left the property was because I needed a bigger space.

Property manager Jessica in the office lady Tina are working together to make sure that even if you are having a good day that you start to have a bad one there is definitely something fishy going on up there someone needs to check their financial books

Ive just signed on for my third year at Golden Shores. I choose to remain here because the staff is always on top of any issues that arise.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. I have been living here since August and I regret the day I signed my lease. I should’ve known it was going to be problems when they had me do a walk through the day before I was suppose to move in and my apartment was still not done. Luckily I recorded everything. Maintenance does not fix anything and there are roaches everywhere. Don’t bother telling the office about things needing to be fixed because they are going to lie and say they will have maintenance come out and it never happens. I have what appears to be mold in my kitchen, a busted refrigerator, and I’m sharing an apartment with roaches. I just received my first visit from pest control a week ago. It has gotten to the point where I told the leasing manager I will no longer come to the office and will be giving my complaints via certified letter so that when I break my lease I will not be responsible for paying a fee. They are constantly in violation of the leasing agreement. I cannot wait to get out of this shithold.

Severely Roach infested! Haven’t experienced anything bad besides the roach infestation which is bad enough to break your lease. They will tell you to contact the office to get your name on the list for pest control. They already know of the issues that consist and this infestation will take years to fix and we’ve been here for 2 Already and it’s only got worse. What’s bad is if you don’t start fresh when moving to another place, you will bring the roaches in your clothes and appliances to your next home Guaranteed... weigh out your options before moving here, don’t let that “gated community “ look fool you

Quiet neighborhood I Love it.

The kitchen and bathroom floods every month no one answers the phone, trash everywhere outside, roaches all in the buildings when we first moved in mildew everywhere, the outlets don’t work, parking is bad, and the maintenance just don’t care about privacy. If u looking for an apartment just keep looking.

My Ac went out On 29 and They Said it would be fixed.On the next Day and Just Because two contractors didnt show up Now I have to wait until the 1st of May I have been here for almost a year and They dont have enough Maintenance workers and the Maintenance person they have doesnt fix the the Ac. They claim that Red Bay is Luxury Appartments this place is a Dump.

I renewed for another year and couldnt be happier.

I could tell my the issues obtaining an application fir tenancy this was a horrible place rent. I contacted the corporate office and received a response from the unprofessional regional representative. I don’t get subsidies or free rent if you do ID ADVISE FINDING A MORE PROFESSIONAL place to rent from. I can only assume based on my interactions with their office staff, regional, and corporate holding company are slum land lords.

Please. Please please. Keep looking this place is the most unorganized and poorly managed place in Jacksonville. The move in process is slow and painstaking... I did my app in July, wasnt able to view an actual apartment until August then due to unseeable misfortune I had to leave town. And my requested deposit cant be returned. Keep it moving, I looked here after having a hard time with my credit, but best believe this isnt what you want.. Its truly shameful that during a pandemic...

Lets start with Ms. Cindy. She is awesome. She is kind patient and very helpful. I appreciate her being the manager of City Ridge apartments. The staff is excellent too, especially Ms. Kat. She is extremely helpful and patient. I love my apartment it is nice and spacious. The environment is nice and safe. My neighbors are nice. I love living at City Ridge.

The apartments are ok.

I lived in the complex for over 5 years and the new owners are the worst. My vehicle was stolen twice in a 3 day span. Tenants stole from my car on 5-6 different occasions and nothing was done. Homeless sleeping in the childrens park in the complex. The maintenance is horrible. I had to wait over 6 weeks in order to have maintenance requests completed. They only way to get maintenance requests completed is to contact Jessica (the manager) who is very unprofessional as well and does not move with any urgency. They are constantly adding new thing to pay for like a trash valet service but are not handling things like customer service, the pool, etc.

This place has its ups and downs such as big floor plans. To be honest if I had to make another decision to move here I would not. The maintenance is non-existent. The roaches are unbelievable and now that I gave a $400 deposit cleaned and painted and did everything I could to bring the apartment Back to Life After 5 years its 15 days and I havent gotten my deposit back yet they keep giving you the runaround. So just think about that when youre going to go and move out and when all the things that happen to you while youre there its not worth it find another place to live.

I have been at City Ridge for a year well it will be a year on May 23, I am currently renewing my lease and moving into a bigger apartment. Since day one staff was always great with me. I had a issue with my door when I first moved and they came and replaced my whole door for me the next day. They are military friendly which is great. The one thing I love the most is my neighbors everyone in the building I am currently in is beyond nice and sweet from day one. I love them all... I get off of work at all times on the night and I know I can park and walk home and be safe and if anything were to happen I know my neighbors would come out in a heartbeat because we all speak and have bonded. I am honestly sad to have to move to a different building, but hopefully the people will be just as great. I decided to renew my lease because to be honest it super close to my job, its quite I have never had an issue or felt unsafe in my home. Any time I have had an issue they have came out, even if my rent is late they work with me. I love the office staff they have been the best with me especially with renewing my lease. I would recommend this place to friends and family and anyone, its quite its safe, neighbors r great and I know I can walk outside late at night and feel safe. Im super excited about upgrading apartments but honestly my current one bedroom is so spacious but I want something even bigger now.So yes I give this place 5 Stars

Ms. Kat is the super most amazing person ever. This woman is smart, friendly, more than over competent, A HARD worker that multi-tasks better than Ive seen in years. She cares and you feel it. Shes an amazing angel.

My wife and i love living out here because it is so spacious but I do have to agree with some of these reviews. First of all the management do lie about the smallest little thing. And the maintenance men out here suck we had to keep calling about our AC going out. And they want to say we had it set at a low temp so it freezes up. But come to find out the AC unit wasnt any good and it was going out. So they had to replace it so we had to sit in a hot ass house for three days until they finally got to changing it out. And then I dont know if its our downstairs neighbor or my next door Neighbor That has roaches I cant seem to get rid of them no matter what I try. And then most of these people dont care about other residents that live out here. They leave trash outside theirs doors and that create bugs and they travel. And then other people throwing trash everywhere making the complex look bad. And the gate always stay broken because soon as they get fixed u have stupid people that wants to drive in on the exit way just to get in the complex not thinking if this person didnt pick up at then they dont want to be bothered I mean dam its people out here that dont even live out here taking up parking spaces and catch an attitude with u when u ask then to move because they just sitting in their cars. Like today there is a truck blocking the entrance so people have to go in on the other side please get it together people

Im very upset with this apartment complex!! I was suppose to move in on the 4th of October, i called Kat two days ahead to check on the apartment. She informed me that it still wasnt ready and would not be ready until the 11th!!! Then had the nerves to sayIm glad you called. REALLY!!! thats your job not mines to let me know if something happened!!! Now Ill be homeless Friday and i put a deposit on movers, its a terrible inconvenience for me. Im very skeptical now about moving in City Ridge now because of if Im having problems now with maintenance, Ill probably have issues later!!.Update, they went up under new management. I was very satisfied! The apartment was amazing! They accommodated me as much as possible. Im enjoying my residence here. Its peaceful and quite.

If you are looking for a place to live, I Strongly encourage you to avoid City Ridge Apartments, of any property managed by Lofty Asset Management. In the one year of leasing from City Ridge, my family suffered an ever growing roach infestation. We sprayed, set traps, fogged and fumigated, but the roaches never stopped. They entered through every crevice, and even through the electrical outlets. These roaches bite humans. Lofty Asset leases include pest control, honestly in 12 months of living there I did not see pest control come by even once. What are they doing with the money? Very nasty. Speaking of nasty, our upstairs neighbors rudely and deliberately stomped the floor constantly, often into the wee hours of the night. They slammed heavy items on the floor. They smoked so much that it transmitted through the ventilation system. Our clothes smelled like cigarette smoke, and noone in my family smokes. Forget about complaining to the office or even Lofty directly, for they made it seem as if we were annoying the neighbors. Called security several times, nothing is done and the neighbors continue to harass my family. How did City Ridge finally fix the problem? They refused to renew my lease, while the harassing neighbor is still able to stay. One year of torture, and they force my family to leave. Apartment 102, total nightmare, like living in hell, and neither City Ridge, nor Lofty cared about my familys comfort, or sanity. I cant tell you where to move. I mean hey, some people love uncontrollably roach infestations and neighbors who Texas Two Step until 2 and 3 in the morning. If that is you, got for it, but just know, renter beware.

New Management sucks, you dont want to live here. New management does not give a damn about the tenants. Its dirty trash be everywhere, security is not as tight as it use to be, they have started breaking in cars, gate has been broke for 6 months, managers does not work with the tenants just quick to evict you, no where to park when you get off of work, new maintenance men are sorry, my kids does not feel safe to play outside anymore. Just sad that they bring in people who does not care about the community and people. So happy to have moved, paying for terrible service......

Lived here since October 2017. The biggest issue I have is the roaches. They have sent pest control here over 7 times in a year and the roaches still are here. I constantly see pregnant roaches walking around the apartment. I have bought several products for my own use because the pesticide used hasn’t been effective. I have a constant parking issue in these apartments I sometime have to park several buildings away and walk to my own home because of there being no parking in front of my building. My brand new car was stolen from some criminal that come in the middle of the night because the gate hasnt worked since I moved here. Its been a real head ache and I was forced to resign my lease because They require a 60 day notice or you pay the same price as breaking your lease would be even if its ending. I don’t feel its fair. Especially for me I have paid my rent on time the entire time I have lived here.
