My technician Troy was very friendly prompt and knowledgable. He listened addressed my concerns and efficiently took care of the services. Troy was excellent and warm and friendly to my daughter as well made all of us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Troy provided me information about the services he would be doing and the system he would be doing and the products he was applying. Best of all no bugs! Very pleased!

Sales guy told me my lawn 100% had fungus and I needed their service, then their service tech told me I did not have fungus and the sales guy didn’t know what he was talking about. When I brought this up to their manager after they billed me $100’s of dollars I was offered free aeration and $150 applied to my annual prepay, after I was billed $257 + $150 the service manger said he never said that so needless to say I will never do business with this company and I’m in process of trying to get all my money back from them. If you have lawn issues go to a lawn company since they don’t have any clue what is going on here.

Whenever there is a problem with pests or weeds/fungus in the lawn there is always an effort to control it. Sometimes I dont even need to call in to report the problem because the technician is proactive and takes care of it on the regular service trips. Orlando was especially helpful recently with the termite traps and installed new ones wherever they were needed.For the most part you do very good work. Ants in flower beds are a constant problem and along edge of grass. Seems there should be a way to keep them under control, i.e., gone! Thanks for the good work you do. Adam and Orlando make an extra effort to do a good job.

Terrible experience with this company lately. Its sad to see a company that my grandmother relies on just take advantage of the fact that she is elderly and cant go outside to actually watch and make sure your employees are doing their job completely. Its also sad that Ive reached out to speak to the manager about these issues and I still have not received a call back. It truly saddens me that this company takes advantage of the elderly people!

I found out about Bug Out through the Chamber of Commerce. They were quick to make an appointment. They gave us a lot of information about where our issues were coming from. They treated and we have not had any issues since. I highly recommend Bug Out.

The office I dealt with was never with the program. I had requested to be texted/emailed day prior to applications, but never was. This requested three different times and each time blamed a glitch. Once is a glitch, three is incompetence. Service tech was good although needed to contact twice to have weeds resprayed. Overall not a great experience and for the amount of cost didnt get value perceived.

I receive various services from Bug Out at two homes currently. They have always been performed in a timely manner, with care and thorough detail. The representatives from the call center, as well as the field techs, have always been professional yet kind and personal too. The field techs that service my properties are also quite informative and take the time to explain the process and time expectation for treating specific issues.

Prompt technicians. Techs are always friendly, and take time to educate me on things I can do regarding pest prevention. The office and the techs work with me regarding the time of day they come so I can make sure my pets are inside. I like being able to pay monthly as well. I also like that you can schedule additional visits, at no extra charge, in between the regularly scheduled treatments if needed. Due to allergies, they only treat the outside of my home and I don’t have any bugs. Pretty wonderful.

Bugout uses well qualified, professional staff to provide excellent services at a reasonable price. We’ve used them for lawn, shrub and pest control and rodent exclusion. We have been very pleased with the results.

Not sure what the deal os with this office. I had used bugout services in the past when i lived on the northside and they were great. This office never got rid of my bug problem. Then when I had an emergency wasp nest removed they double charged while i sat in the office and showed the woman i had already paid?! They refunded my money eventually but I do not recommend this place at all!!

Ive always had great luck with Bug Out service in the past and we recently had an issue with bees entering through the attic vent. They took care of the issue under the regular pest control contract and their separate exclusion service took care of replacing the attic screens. Everyone was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional, including the customer service reps on the phone, the sales folks and the pest control guys as well. Highly recommended!

I have had a billing issue since last fall. Since 2002 i have had a termite policy on my townhome. In October all 4 owners in the building purchased coverage for the entire building. I had just renew my contract and then had to pay again for the new coverage. So paid twice. I have called and left several messages for Mr. Blankenship asking about a refund for the double payment. I have yet to get a call back. The service is good but disappointed in this customer service.

One star is too much for the horrible, embarrassing months of experience BugOut put my family through!!! It should be minus five stars! BugOut serviced my family for decades, but when it came time for serious experience they just did Not have the know how to get the job done. They came numerous times for 10 months monitoring and treating, giving me assurance in writing and the infestation just became worse. They cost me thousands of dollars in revenue and miss lead me with a contract that only covered one room. Run as fast as you can to another service because they are poorly qualified for this business!

We have been using Bugout for 18 years.They have been very good with monitoring the termites. We have not had a problem. They even corrected a situation that occurred during the previous owner 18 yrs prior. They are good on their bond. They protect your home.

We had been a customer for about a year when I was given a nearly new stove with a convection oven and warming drawer. I spotted a couple of roaches when we picked it up. I put it up on blocks on my back porch like a Chevy. We cleaned it and as suggested by Bug Out I took off the easily removable back panels.Bug Out guy came out and sprayed the stove and placed his baits in case the spray missed anything. He told me to leave the stove out for a week. I did.Everything seemed good for about a month but then we started to see roaches. My wife will let out a blood curdling scream. Honestly it makes me laugh every time.I called Bug Out, like the cable company they give you a 4 hour window. We estimate losing about 6 days to their scheduling held hostage in our own home. We still had roaches and nasty sewer flies months later.I told the dispatch lady I was sick of having them come out over and over. She sent the guy who is very pleasant. Eventually we realized he was performing an act of insanity doing the same unsuccessful thing over and over expecting a different result.My wife saw a little group of carpenter ants and the roaches were still haunting us so I called again and reported the new pestilence. still had roaches and now an ant issue. We were paying for an exterminator not a friendly visitation. I said I was going to get rid of them if they didnt kill the bugs.After stealing yet another half a day of our lives the bug guy and his manager arrived. He started by stomping around in my flower bed and moved on to dictating the other around as if he was a hapless serf. I found the man to be arrogant and extremely unprofessional. Poor bug guy just kept his head down and marched on. On a positive note we are ant free. However I was so agrevated by the unpleasant experience I failed to address the roaches and evidently the dispatcher forget or they ignored my request. The next day two roaches ran out from under our microwave!I think I had four visits for roaches in 9 weeks. They were taking our money and unable to meet standards set by the sales pitch. Isnt that always the way?We dont like strangers in our house so in an effort to give them one more chance I called again telling the dispatcher this was it. I had seen roaches for the past two days and wanted help. She put me on hold and somehow managed to schedule an appointment that day. At 3:12pm the tech texted he was not coming. They stole another day! Appointment rescheduled for tomorrowIn an effort to get success I pulled out my stove, refrigerator, and microwave. Understand I didnt want to change unless I had to. I did however research and price shop alternatives.When my guy (Mr. insanity) showed up he had his manager (Mr. unpleasant) with him.At the door I stated this problem was ongoing and this was it. I said if I saw healthy roaches after they left we were done. I said not one roaches but some like we had for the past several months.The manager true to form said I had been threatening to terminate and my expectations were UNREASONABLE. He was going to terminate our contract. I said no your going inside and do what you were currently contracted for. He said no we quit. I was not going to miss that rude son of a gun. Roaches won - Big Out none....I told the manager to get off my property and I would see him on social media. He said be sure I mentioned they came out every time I called. I promised as it was the best way to illustrate how incompetent they were! OuchSince my appliances were already out I opted for the DIY plan. Kim at Alternative Pest Control gave me good information to start. Unlike Bug Out I removed all the switch plate covers in the kitchen and baited the backs of the appliances. We also have been spraying an organic foam in the drains.So far so good. No roaches and flies are almost gone. It is going to cost me about $135.00 a year. I am going to save days of my life not waiting for no show or late technicians.Looking like Roaches done Bill won time, money and. agrevation

I called these folks for an ant problem. Ive lived in my house for 7+ years and never once had a problem with crawlies, except for the occasional palmetto bug. So when I had an ant problem and the little traps I set out didnt work, I called Bug Out. The guy who arrived was professional and polite. He came inside the house and sprayed something along the baseboards, and then went outside and sprayed something along the foundation. The guy said itd take a few days before the ants went away.A week later the ants were still going strong. Whatever treatment Bug Out performed, it didnt even slow the ants down. Not a single bit. When I realized that Bug Out did absolutely nothing to help the ant problem we went to Ace Hardware and got some ant killing stuff and put those in our home where the ants were.That solved the problem in about 4 days.I only signed up for the one time treatment (equal in price to the quarterly deal) rather than the never ending treatment. I choose this option because Ive never once had a problem with bugs so signing up for a re-occurring quarterly treatment didnt make sense given my lack of bug problems. Had the ant problem been systemic, Id have opted for the quarterly contract.These guys get good reviews which is why I contacted them. Im glad for the people they helped. For me, they did nothing. $250 for nothing whatsoever.I absolutely cannot recommend these folks. We spend around $25 bucks at Ace Hardware and that took care of things.Im curious to know if anyone has had success with the one time treatment for ants from Bug Out?UPDATE TO BUSINESS RESPONSE TO MY REVIEW:I was able to get rid of the ants with a single $25 trip to Ace Hardware. On-going protection is not required as mentioned to you both before and after you arrived here. I dont see this situation as being challenging to control, given we took care of it for almost nothing and without the expertise and equipment a bug company has.I must maintain that I just cannot recommend you folks, polite as you were and are. As mentioned, Im curious to know if anyone has had success with the one time treatment for ants from you.

If I could give a negative star rating I would. Wasnt happy with the mosquito service & asked for someone to come back & re-treat. I was told by the girl on the phone that it would be at no charge. They came back a week or two later to re-treat & noticed on my security camera he wasnt there long. I called & found out the blower wasnt working. However a bill was left on my door! Pretty shady that you leave a bill for a half done job! I was told AGAIN they would come re-treat at no charge. They came back out again on a cloudy day & of course it rained within minutes of them spraying! At this point I cancelled my service. And guess what got a bill in the mail! I tried talking with the manager & got no where! He is very rude & incompetent! Now Im getting sent to collections over $55!! Absolutely ridiculous! Oh did I mention that its an act of congress to get someone to answer the phone? Held over 15 min. DO NOT use this company!! They are awful!!

I have been using them for several years for termites and pest control. I continue to have problems with ants and occasionally roaches. I called several months ago to cancel service. The receptionist said a manager would have to do it and took my name and number. Several weeks went by with no phonecall from manager. I called again, they said the same thing and took my name and number. Again several weeks have gone by and no phonecall from manager. I guess this is there way of doing customer retention. I have received three more monthly bills. Not only did they not cancel me they raised my monthly rate from 39 th 41 per month. Lousy service. Still have not received a call from their manager.
