Honestly the best-renting experience! They were responsive and any maintenance issue we had was taken care of fast. Through their online portal. All information about the property and finances was well organized. Awesome company and if I ever get the chance, I would rent with them again.

The Pearl, Apartments on 159 W. Pearl St, managed by NCDG is a wonderful gem located in Downtown Jackson.If youre a professional working in Jackson, Michigan this could be a great spot. I relocated here from Cleveland, and although the city size was a drastic change. Living downtown at, The Pearl, helped highlight the city life I enjoyed back in the 216. My apartment was a one bedroom loft at a very reasonable price, $800. Better than anything else I could find in the area, and half the price of A2 Furnished with new appliances: Dishwasher (life saver) Electric range, furnace, and refrigerator. I had my own water heater as well. Perfect for long steamy showers that never ran out of heat, that transformed my large walk-in shower into a mini spa after long days at work teaching. Tall ceilings and a cozy carpeted bedroom made the apartment both trendy & homey at the same time. Perfect for entertaining guests at the bar or low key nights in the blankets. Plus, you can take advantage of the ceiling height and have your road steeds float by floor to ceiling mounts. Doubling as both decor and functionality. My windows faced West, offering plenty of afternoon sun for growing lavender and views of the old structures and churches which reminded me of Belle France and the old streets of Paris.Other than the perks of being centrally located, NCDG Property & Management offices are located on the main floor of the building. This is a huge perk! As any assistance with maintenance, questions on your lease, or concerns of other tenants was quickly and professionally dealt with in person. No waiting for a reply or leaving multiple voicemails.I worked directly with, Paul Namazi and their assistant Noah Taylor on multiple occasions to go over details of lease renewal, help inputting my (Buzz-In) door entry, and in the end submitting my keys and doing a final walk-thru of my unit. In every encounter the staff was polite and courteous providing me with guidance and following up with me if they did not have the answer at that time.All in all, if youre searching for a clean, professional, and helpful residence. I would 10 for 10 recommend NCDG Property and Management company. The owner of the company returned my call and personally met me on site to look at the property and advised me on different options available to proceed. This personal interaction really made the difference.Since then NCDG has helped me on five different Real Estate transactions. They have a very nice approach and are very technically competent and efficient. Every one of the transactions that NCDG led was very successful and headache free. They provided credit checks, move in inspections, advertisement, and kept us informed as needed during these transactions.The most recent experience was again hassle free. NCDG did everything with the utmost professionalism and with very minimal involvement from us (which for us was great). Filled out applications for an apartment for our small family. We were ignored afterwards for about 2 days then told that someone else had already put money down and it was now unavailable. While my application apparently didnt even get to process before hand. Then suggested a more expensive unit in a really bad side of town. We suspect that we were profiled against. Because about a week later we seen a new listing for that exact same apartment!! A couple weeks later the agent got in contact with me and said that another unit in the same building had come available. We were skeptical but decided to give it another chance. The day of the showing we set up days in advanced, The dude didnt show.... I messaged said agent and he hardly gave an apology and said that he forgot to tell us in advance that he couldnt make it.... long story short, very unprofessional and frustrating experience. Really hoping we werent being scammed for application fees but it wouldnt surprise me. Save your energy and time with any of these rentals

I would give them a zero they do nothing to fix anything thats been broken for 4 years including a fridge that they said was on a list to be fixed before I even moved in and they raised my rent during this pandemic. 4 years of calling and no one ever calls you back or answers the phone.

I recently moved from one of their rentals to a different one that was a better fit for my children and I, and they made the transition so easy and convenient for me. John, the rental agent, was very helpful and courteous in helping me find a different place. The maintenance team has always been friendly and respectful and has responded promptly to my maintenance requests. They do a great job with their work. The staff administrative and assistant has always been very respectful, considerate and flexible with any of my needs. I will continue to rent through this agency until I purchase my own home.

NCDG was wonderful! They responded quickly to our maintenance requests and were helpful whenever we had questions about our rental property. I am especially grateful for their willingness to meet me free of charge at our old mailbox after my roommates and I moved out so that I could collect extra mail that had come to the house! Please do your research before renting from or through this company.I would have given NCDG a zero star if possible.Please do not use this company.I 2017 contacted NCDG to rent my property through them.Prior to setting up the service I told NCDG several times that it was only the house and half acre surrounding the house that was available to the tenant.After getting everything set up I had a potential tenant. Upon meeting the tenant they advised me that it was explained to him that he could use the entire property for 4 wheelers and dirt bikes.The tenant then backed out due to it only being the house and half acre. I then cancelled my services with them due to the misinformation that was presented to a potential tenant. NCDG said they were going to bill be for the early cancellation ($300) and for putting a outlet in a water pit ($253).After speaking with the company on the phone in March of 2017 I was advised that the matter was taken care of.Fast forward 2 years and I get an email from Paul saying that I owed an outstanding balance of $583 roughly and I need to pay in 4 days to avoid legal action. 4 days notice after nearly two years of thinking the matter was resolved. I was told to pay by Christmas Eve to avoid legal action against me. I asked to set up payment plans due to short notice and not being advised for over two years that I have an outstanding balance.Paul said they tried contacting me several times over the span of two years. I asked for a transcript of the attempts and he gave me two dates that an employee tried calling me. Both of which I was outside the country. The first email I received from this company I responded to which was a week before Christmas.Paul said that he has to turn his books in to his attorney by the end of the month so I must pay.Please do not use this company.

Probably the worst place I’ve lived. No one ever answers the phone at the office. The lawn is never mowed. Parking lot never gets plowed in the winter. My toilet never flushed unless I put dawn dish soap in it EVERY-TIME I used it. The shower was either super cold or extremely hot. The heat never worked in the winter and I only had AC in my bedroom. There was a tree growing into my apartment.I lived at Island lake apartments for two years and am beyond happy I moved.

Ive been with NCDG for about a year and theyre the best group Ive ever rented from. The staff is excellent. They are approachable, good communicators - worked with me when I lost my job. Fine folks all around.

I was told I had to pay $40 for application fee just to see a home to rent (seems to be the trend right now) and after paying the $40 for a house on their site that wasn’t even available they stated I could see another house. The rental manager was never available when I was. I made myself available for a time convenient for him and he never got back to me. I’ve texted, called and emailed to see the place. I want my $40 refunded!

The entire process from first viewing to background check, to lease signing and moving in was extremely quick and effortless. The NCDG Realty & Property Management was very accommodating and was able to meet at the rental unit at my convenience. Payments are made easy by their online portal. I have no complaints with the process.

I have used them for multiple properties. All of my asset information is always available online and I get reports and live updates in the account they gave me. Theyre always available and call you if there are any issues with your properties. Even though Im 3000 miles aways i have nothing to worry about and they take care of everything. I recommend using them.

Do not hire this company my 90 year old grandma who is on a low budget hired this man john and his son to do her roof and they scammed her took her money dident finish the job and told her they would be back and never showed up looks like they are not very nice or honest people considering the way they treated my grandma and all the other ones that has written bad reviews they even stold her tarp she had on the roof shame on them

NCDG always goes above and beyond. They saved me over $300 on my electric/gas bill after DTE failed to figure out why my bill went up hundreds of dollars in a single month. DTE sent someone out and they couldn’t figure it out. NCDG has always been responsive to my requests for support so I figured I’d ask them for help. They are the best property manager I’ve had because they have gone above and beyond time and time again. When I contacted them about my bill they sent one of their team members and found out that our Nest thermostat was malfunctioning due to our heat sensor needing replacement. They fixed that issue for us and saved us over $300 in the following two months. This is the type of property manager that people need. I highly recommend them for anyone looking to rent or looking for property management help.

Dont rent a home from these people. Me and my girlfriend currently living in house that had a backyard full of broken grass 3ft grass we almost had to cut when moving in. My Windows dont even lock in my house and they dont check for anything in the house thats wrong they could care less they just want your money and for you to move in. Impossible to reach someone in a reasonable time and dont plan on them coming to fix anything right the first them they sent 18 year old kids to fix my stuff. Never again Ill I rent from them or Garbo horrible customer service.

Started using this company to rent out and manage two of my properties. Good service, they are very helpful and their website is good. I get automatic emails when there is anything wrong with the property and i can check the status of my payments online. They release my rental income every two weeks and unlike my last management company they dont have a 30 day hold. I will use again.

They illegally broke our lease early, claiming it was because of a city ordinance they didnt know about (its literally their job to know those things). Then charged us for damages we did not do, and are now trying to charge us for months we did not even live there. And just an FYI, theres a good review written below this by a John Collis, yeah, thats the owner.

I have been with ncdg for about 3 years now. When I first rented a property for them, I had a few concerns due to other management companies but ncdg answered to all of them and are very responsive whenever I have repair issues. The rental process was also very smooth with them and I was moved in a week earlier which I had requested. Overall great company to work with

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! This company has zero communication with each other. It took them over three months to come fix my electricity, despite my repeated attempts to reach out to them. My house has a mouse infestation and all they did was brought me a few traps. I adopted a second dog, told them about it, and they neglected to add my monthly fee for a year and are now hitting me with a fee of $300 for the dog (who has done zero damage) because they did not communicate with each other and add my monthly fee. They are slumlords and every home owner should know how they treat their houses.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with a company that I hired to do a service. The sad part is, they initially lock you into a two year contract with them because they know that after a few months of service with them, you would fire them immediately if they hadnt.Their maintenance section is bogus, too. There is a girl that works there by the name of Melissa who is related to the guy who they contract out to fix furnaces. This is not good because if you have a problem with the services from the HVAC Company like I did; you will not be treated fairly being that she has personal interests with the company.I was so fed up with the maintenance section and the bogus charges that were being added on to my bill every month that I told them not to go to my property to fix anything without my consent. From that point on, I pretty much contracted any problems that I needed with local companies. I would have fired them but I was stuck in a contract with them for two years.I never called them for anything even though I was paying for their services. When I would call, the operator would answer the call and then forward me to voicemail. I knew this was going on because when I would call from a number other than my own, they would answer right away.My contract was finally over after dealing with this company’s lack of professionalism for two years. They told me that I would receive a copy of any leases, receipts, warranties, and any other documentation needed to continue to manage my property once my contract was over with them. After 6 months of calling, emailing, and waiting for the documents; I finally decided to file a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau. I went to the website and discovered that they already had a “F” rating which is the worst rating a business can have. I filed against them anyway (it’s not like it can hurt their rating any worst). Hopefully, this rating stops people from getting stuck in a two year contract with this horrible company like I did.

Worst experience ever. No elevator, no intercom, were working on it...we left after 1year and had to sue for our deposit after my place flooded 4 times. Owners son has no skills with the public. Too many chiefs not enough indians. No parking so be ready to fight everyday for $35 dollar parking (I am now fluent in having someone towed). Just run and dont let the cute spots fool you, management sucks in an epic way.

Do not rent from these people! We rented a home for two years and it was a big mistake. They will take months to fix or replace anything. They wont return your security deposit by claiming things had to be fixed. Every issue big or small took weeks to get a reply. Ive never had any issue receiving my deposit back from any property management company in Ann Arbor.

Moved in in december, and wrote a list of everything that needs fixed with the property.the gutters had not been cleaned out the fall of last year, so they were packed full and we let them know that. Come the beginning of August this year (9 months later), we had a little forest growing on our roof. Took 9 and a half months just to get a handyman out to do a simple job.Have had multiple problems with the payments, and 0 help on things that need fixing. Would not recommend this company to anybody.

Rented a large house in downtown battle creek (mckinley ave north) for about 3 years. Moved in with less than clean conditions but rent was cheap. we cleaned and put up curtains. The roof was in bad shape and eventually started to leak. the ceiling fan would drip water on hard rain days. Two different entry ways, inside the house, had water dripping through. Roof was eventually fixed. Moving out they tried charging us $1150 dollars in remodeling plus another $800 in damages and water damage. When we responded to his e-mail, which was void of itemized damages, the man stated he would drop the excess charges if we forfiet the $1150 security deposit. We also made friends with a red squirrel in the attic and walls for 8 months before being removed by hired pest control.I have pics for anyone thinking of rentingUpdate: won the security deposit by default. Totally unprofessional and blatantly racist agency. Made an appointment to view a home for rent. After the agent saw me, she just opened the door to the property, let me in and stayed outside to make some phone calls. Also told me to hurry up because there was another appointment scheduled after mine. Any place this bad before they get your money is bound to be trouble after you sign the lease.

Horrible company! They are trying to get thousands of dollars from me. I gave a 60 day notice on a month to month lease. Charging me for a stove, when there wasnt one when I moved in. And other things that had been wrong when I moved in.
