We made a reservation for dinner on 7/24, expecting an upscale steakhouse as we were celebrating a birthday and our recent marriage. The restaurant was nearly empty and we were offered 2 tables to sit at. We chose a more private setting to be quickly told that was a mistake and the table was not available. It went downhill from here. We sat front and center, under harsh lights (we were hoping for a more romantic, high-class vibe) directly next to the host stand. The server was very kind, but seemed EXTREMELY frazzled. He was late serving a neighboring table food and seemed to be the only one working? For the prices on the menu, this establishment should be able to at very least hire someone to clear plates or seat tables (particularly on a Saturday night). When I asked about the online menu, I was told the item I wished to eat was no longer available because they have been having trouble updating the website. What? I know small business that take more care of their website than this and its a 4 star hotel. The server did comp us 1/2 off of our bottle of wine for the inconvenience of the visit, which was fantastic, but even with this discount, the quality of the food was not worth the large bill we paid. If you are looking for a quick business lunch, this might be the spot, but there are 15 better restaurants within a stones throw of this one. I highly recommend going elsewhere.
Absolutely beautiful penthouse, located in the heart of downtown. In-house dining is to die for.
BEFORE YOU BOOK A MILLER PARK SUITE, READ THIS!On the website only one suite is shown which has a lovely park/mountain view and a private balcony. Only one room is shown so it seems that this is the only suite option. I was very excited about the view and room so had no problem paying the $500 per night (with taxes and fees). My reservation confirmation said I was booked in Miller Park Suite 201. Imagine my absolute shock when we check in, and walk into our suite- room 306 (changed with no explanation)which has a view of.....the hotel wall 10 feet away from our SHARED balcony. We go talk to the front desk and are told the rooms are on a lottery system that cant be controlled. When we ask why a Park view room costs the same as a wall view room or why NONE of this info is on the website we receive a generic we need to update the website. Eventually we are put in contact with the operations manager Karen who says she will call us back. We did not receive a call back and went to talk with her face to face on Sunday. We did not want our room to be moved, we simply wanted a realistic price adjustment for our complete lack of view and were told nothing could be done. This is greedy, dishonest business. In what 4- star Jackson Hole hotel does a park view room cost the same as no view? Before you stay here make sure you call and confirm you are not in suite 306, its not what you want. Update your website and take accountability for deceiving your customers. There are far better hotels in this town that would have made this right.
Service was good, bread was very good. We both had the 8oz Filet and it was excellent. We also got the Mac and Cheese side but it was underwhelming. My wife got a vodka martini and it was also very good.Overall a good experience and the steaks were well worth the price. Wed get a different side, but for an upscale dining option in Jackson, we were happy with the visit.
I had the pleasure of dining here last night with friends and it was amazing! Hands down best steak in Jackson, and our server Alysa was attentive, knowledgable and very personable. I cant wait to eat here again.
Service was very good. 8 oz. Filet mignon with garlic and pepper butter was perfectly prepared and very flavorful.
I went to the gym a couple days ago and did not need to wear a mask. I come in today and some random man comes up to and asks if I got the shot. I replied no because of my personal reasons of not wanting the vaccine. My brother proceeded to drink water and the man yelled at him for taking off his mask TO DRINK WATER. We were then kicked out of the gym that we paid each $14. I think its very unprofessional that I was allowed in the first and second time then kicked out because someone felt uncomfortable with my brother drinking water. I will never come back to this hotel. The man was very overdramatic and the workers did not seem to care. Very unfriendly.
Beautiful Room & great fitness area, but Restaurant is Closed and there’s no pool or hot tub (although I shouldn’t have just assumed there would be). Also the room we originally booked was over booked, and our upgraded room was not as accommodating for our little one. We had no closet space, dresser or living room area as we originally had planned. We have a baby with us and no where to go and nothing to do. This trip was not worth the money.
Room not what were told on website. Balcony is shared and opens to an alley. Zero view. Also said valet service. Not. Had to beg to get someone to take bags to our room. I have a torn muscle in hip and cant carry anything. If not for a lady hearing my issues from out in back office and calling the front lady back to visit with her, I am afraid we would have had major issues getting to room. Wife is not happy with our room. She spent many hours online to get the right place. Did not meet expectations.
We enjoyed the meal thoroughly. We didn’t like being nickeled and dimes. They ask you would like bread and you get a $5 charge on our bill. We went with another couple and they would not split our check. We had to do it ourselves...poor
The staff is so accommodating and helpful...Perla and Andrea went beyond to help with rooms and restaurants its nice to see thanks again Perla
Like another review stated on here, the room was nice but the staff was awful. They were not flexible at all with late check out. We had a 3pm flight and were hoping to enjoy the room until 1pm, like the staff said we could the day before. Yet day of check out, the note said noon, and the staff was extremely rude when we tried to stay one hour longer. Karen, the manager, said there was nothing they could do, because of covid...The owner responded to the other review with a similar experience that it was an exception. Clearly, its not. For a four star hotel youd think the service would be better. We got engaged during the day and booked this hotel to celebrate, yet the experience with the staff left a horrible taste in our mouths.Save your money and stay else where, maybe youll be treated like actual guests instead of burdens.
Stay away!I dont understand how this place has a four star rating. It was horrible! Heres what happened:We checked in and the keys didnt work for our room. Had to go back to the lobby. Got new keys, and was able to get in the room, only to find that it wasnt a double king like I reserved. Got MORE new keys and sent to another room. What a joke. Total overkill on the barn door idea! No privacy in the bathroom, even with the barn doors closed. The bathroom fan sounded like it was from the 70s. The latch on the main door is coming unscrewed. Theres a mini fridge that is just sitting on the floor. Only one coffee mug for a room meant for multiple people?! I paid over $300 for this! The only reason Im giving it two stars instead of one is because the staff was friendly, and we liked the third floor terrace. But, dont waste your money. The White Buffalo Club isnt what they think they are.
My husband and I booked this room through Airbnb as a couples getaway. The room had everything we needed and the location was good. The shower (and likely the toilet) in the bathroom leaked. Every time we stepped on the tile, water came up from between the tiles. We mentioned it to the staff at front desk, but there was little interest. Additionally, (and not The White Buffalo’s fault) the people above us sounded like a large family of elephants wearing high heels literally all day and night long. They never stopped and it was very obnoxious and distracting. While this isn’t The White Buffalo’s fault, I would encourage you to book a top level room as this was awful. Spending just under $300/night was not worth it in our opinion.
Great hotel. Room was exceptional. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly. Only negative was the WIFI...it was basically non-existent. I would stay there again.
Took forever. Good food but also pricey. Not the service I expect when I spend the much $ on dinner.
Cute Hotel close to rodeo. Good value
Great for dinner, tiny bar and not a drinking hole.
We stayed here recently, and while the room was great, the staff was not. At check-in, the staff did not tell us check out time was 11:00 AM. I had just hopped in to the shower when the first call from the front desk came. My husband explained we were packing up, and would be out by noon. Three additional calls came from the front desk within the next half hour, which included a threat to call the sheriff to have us removed, and a threat to charge us for a 1/2 nights accommodations for being an hour late checking out. As frequent travelers to Jackson, we were also looking for property to purchase as a second home & rental property. While there is a unit available for purchase at the White Buffalo Club, we will not consider purchasing there for a couple of reasons. First of all, one of the women at the front desk told us point blank they purposely booked some units more than others, and secondly, the poor customer service we received upon departure. We will not be back to the White Buffalo Club nor will we be purchasing a unit at this facility. This is our second stay at the White Buffalo Club in the past five years. Theres a reason all rooms were not booked. Being an investor, we kept an eye on how busy the club was, and how many rooms were occupied.
One of the worst experiences in a restaurant in a long time. Seated alone in the back area- no wait staff ever came-- receptionist uninterested-- made our reservations a month ahead --
We made a last minute reservation at this hotel when arriving in Jackson. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We got a corner suite and the room was beyond amazing and spacious. It had every amenity we could possibly want or need, including in room laundry with detergent provided. My only regret was that we were not able to stay longer. An all around excellent experience. I highly recommend this hotel if staying in Jackson.
Outstanding from start to finish. Ordered the bone in ribeye for two. This was the best steak I’ve ever had in my life. It was served on a salt block and the presentation was perfect. But the salt block was hot and remained hot the entire meal. So every bite was like it was fresh off the grill. Flavor was amazing, it was tender, it was amazing. An experience and a fantastic meal with friends. While the steak was the star of the show, everything else we ordered was great! Nothing we ordered was disappointing. This is rare for a restaurant, so this place is an easy 5 star recommendation.
This place is conveniently located a (small) block & 1/2 from Cache Street. Nice walk to Downtown area. Make a stop to Liberty Burgers - which I recommend. Love being so close to downtown stores and restaurants. Hotel staff are very kind and courteous. Best selection of workout/weights in town. King size beds are super comfy. When traveling it is nice to have a room with a washer and dryer. Plus, Plus Plus!
Only use the gym, but the facilities and surrounding areas look great!
Ate at every steakhouse in Jackson Hole for our honeymoon. White Buffalo Club blew all the others out of the water. Best steaks we have ever had. Unreal!
Restaurant is closed. Front desk unhelpful!Rooms do not have tub as seen on pictures. The place is very small. You can hear people above you loudly. I very disappointed with my stay. This is not more than 3 star hotel!
This rating is actually in regards to the Management team and a complaint I had that was handled appropriately and timely. They turned an odd booking situation into a positive end result, and felt the need to share that!
Been in a few times, the food is phenomenal though I feel as if the portion on the Bone marrow has gotten smaller which was disappointing because its a next level dish.
Got turned away 18 before closing even though we wanted to just get a drink. Saturday night.
Got here at about midnight over a weekend and they had one room available and the entire town was booked up. The gentleman at the front desk called around to a bunch of hotels for me to save me time and try to find me something a little more affordable. I really appreciated his help and patience. We ended up booking the room and it was so nice. We had a private balcony, a kitchen, and the room was very clean. You are getting what you pay for. They brought us breakfast in the morning (complimentary) and came back to check if we needed more coffee. We walked around a bit in the morning and found a nice spa, gym and yoga room in the basement. And a nice restaurant that we would eat at if it were open (covid 😔). I will definitely come back here when I’m in town again!
One of the best steaks I’ve had
Great hotel with a kind concierge. Rooms were spectacular with some of the best showers Ive ever had in a hotel (or a house)
Wifi and TV remote didnt work properly
Overall nice hotel. Clean. Modern amenities. Nice to have a washer & dryer in room. Full kitchen is very nice. Most things in town are within walkable distance. Extremly nice woman named Tatiana checked us in & showed us where the room was. She is wonderful. Here are the problems; description of room says balcony, but it doesnt state the balcony is shared with an adjacent room. The view from the balcony is looking straight at a wall, yes, literally 8 away is a wall. Feels very claustrophobic. There are rooms that dont face a wall, this is just the room I received. Make sure to inquire about this before making a reservation. Pieces of trim around walls is broken or missing. Very minimal amount of parking available. Immediate area around the hotel is a little dumpy. Falling apart trailers, mobile homes and buildings. For the price you pay for this room, I just expect things to be on the higher end of the scale.
Wagyu burger was amazing!
Good spot, I recommend and would stay again.
Great experience! Beautiful hotel, great location, and wonderful service
My stay here was epic, Geom and Antonio went above and beyond to help ensure I was comfortable. The town was all but sold out due to tourist season and I was beat due to injuries to my spine and barely moving. They insisted I stay in a room that would assist in my recovery. I just might make it home tomorrow without hurting myself. and am grateful to the White Buffalo team for such kindness at a critical time. I highly recommend this place and its staff.
Hotel seemed really nice at first. Got to our room and found out that the carpets in the room were soaking wet in front of the bathroom. I would have expected that the hotel would move us to a different room or at least try to dry out the carpet. This was the solution of the hotel.
Rooms were beautiful and clean. Staff was helpful even with COVID restrictions. Would definitely recommend for a nicer stay in Jackson.
The images on the website do not accurately reflect this hotel. It was a little run down. Our room was smaller than it looked in the photos. The lounge room they show in the photos was practically nonexistent no lounge to speak of, it was run down and nothing was going on in there no food or drinks. Our washer & dryer were loud, even after closing the laundry space doors, also limited parking. The staff was friendly and for the most part helpful, so for that Ill give this place 2 stars...but we wont be back.
Regarding restaurant not hotel ... Comedy of errors . 35 minutes to get seated, 20 minutes to get water, 15 minutes to get wine. Food order wrong. At one point you think coincidence would yield a success but unfortunately no.
Its pretty pricey but it is a luxurious stay with nice staff/amenities. Spacious rooms, really nice bathrooms and a fire place !
The staff was amazing, the cocktails delicious, and the beds were super comfy. And pillows! So many pillows! It was great. All in all our stay was fantastic. The only negative was breakfast. I’m vegan, so continental breakfasts generally never have anything I can eat, so I didn’t even bother to go down. But my friend did and she said she didn’t enjoy it. Grain of salt; I would totally stay again regardless.
Best food and best service in town! Every dish is worth ordering. Winners were the bone marrow, tartare, and burger. This is a place you gotta visit.
Employees have the option to live on property which is dope. However they evicted an employee who couldnt work due to covid right before eviction protection went into effect. If you support that than go ahead and stay here.
The perfect steak. 👌🏻
Very pleasant hotel right off the square. Clean, friendly staff and updated rooms with a kitchenette. Continental breakfast was basic but the muffins were quite tasty. Very comfortable beds and beautiful walk in shower. Would recommend.
Super unique room layout, perfect for group parties and family get togethers.
Good place to eat
Did not stay but we used there spa it was great. Excellent massage!!!
Excellent place to stay!
Awesome hotel in downtown Jackson!Drove up from Park City, UT for a weekend in Jackson Hole. The White Buffalo Club is great hotel with a close location to downtown Jackson. We stayed in one of the smaller room options and it was still very spacious and very well attended to. They have garage parking, which is very nice and convenient because we were there in the middle of January. The staff was friendly and eager to help with any of our needs. We will definitely stay here again.
Pretty hotel, clean room, and excellent location. Love it 😍
Excellent Hotel. Slow on my review. Well worth the stay and walk to everywhere
Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean with nice beds and linens. We stayed in the Miller Park Suites and would have given a 5 star but it missed the mark on a couple of minor items for us. Shower stalls have no bench and toilet seat would not stay on properly but staff responded promptly to concerns. Great if you need a kitchen feature. Close to downtown.
This place was pretty good, however, there were a few things that stood out that kept me from giving it 5 stars. The atmosphere was nice. The menu short, like fine dining restaurant should be. When menus are this condensed, I expect each dish to be phenomenal. The bone marrow was delicious. Rich and spreadable. The steak was pretty good, but the trout was almost flavorless. Our server had two tables, and our meal took almost two hours. It took 30 minutes for our order to be taken after we got our menus. Overall, good restaurant. But I expect a little more for the price paid.
Rooms were good size and clean. Staff was very friendly. Good location - easy walking distance to everything downtown. Rooms have small kitchen, laundry, balconies, and robes in rooms. Free breakfast I. The morning had an ok variety of options. Breakfast area is small so may be hard to find a place to sit but items are packaged as takeout so can easily carry then with you. Bar and restaurant on site. We did not eat there but did enjoy their happy hour. They have a great burger and beer happy hour that looked delicious. Fitness room on site. Small parking lot but they will valet if you cannot find a spot.
Our suite was outstanding. It had the greatest bar in the middle of the suite with high end appliances. We enjoyed spending time drinking cocktails and eating some room service appetizers before dinner at the hotel restaurant. Our dinner was fantastic. The aged New York Buffalo steak was so tender and perfectly prepared. Each bite melted in our mouths. The whole experience was too notch. I look forward to future stays at this elegant hotel.
Fancy hotel rooms were nice. They could use a few more amenities for the price such as maybe a 2+ cu ft mini fridge as opposed to the .5 cu ft. A microwave would be nice. Other than that the room was great. Bed was comfy nice small table a big tub and shower and cool sliding doors. It was great for couples.
Great food...so yummy ... Ask for Tomahawk... Worth it...great presentation...
Great place to workout since the gym is open 24/7. Kinda wish theyd buy the lot behind them and expand to include more equipment and a pool. Maybe more dressing rooms. I do appreciate the private dressing rooms.
A fabulous trip and stay at the White Buffalo Club for four nights with friends. We were beyond spoiled with our accommodations in the 3brd penthouse. Providing plenty of room and privacy for each couple, yet offering a great space to socialize. We enjoyed drinks and snacks in the kitchen apres ski as well as the relaxation of the roof top hot tub. The staff was beyond welcoming and hospitable. Providing not only exceptional service, but great insight and advice on activities and dining within the area. Suffice to say we had an extraordinary time due in large part to our stay at the White Buffalo Club and we cant wait to return.
Only stayed one night, but when we checked in, Im sorry I cant remember his name, but he was awesome. He helped with our bags, a bottle opener and made a reservation for dinner right before 10pm to the last place in town that was open. Thank you kindly. Also our room had a full kitchen. Only gripe is that breakfast only has carbs and fruit, so I just opted for more coffee. Thanks again.
Always my favorite place to stay in my favorite mountain getaway town. The rooms at White Buffalo Club are just as beautiful as the town of Jackson! Front desk/Management is really nice and helpful too!
This is for restaurant only. People cooking food in the back should not be vaping while they are cooking. I could see smoke coming out if their noses while handling food in kitchen. Save it for your break. They were out of a lot of the food because it was the last night open but what they had was good.
Nice little hotel in Jackson! The suite has everything you probably need for a short vacation, a small but full kitchen, TVs, luxurious bathrobes, and even washer and dryer. The only thing Id complain about was that the room was not quite sound proof. One day We were woken up by the noise from room above early in the morning (~5am). I was not very concerned about breakfast, though it was quite simple, hope they can add some protein such as boiled eggs or even cream cheese.
Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Everyone at the White Buffalo Club went above and beyond to ensure our stay was 5 stars. We booked the 3 suite with kitchen as our gathering area between 3 separate familys and everyone was thrilled with their rooms. Only issue was when we tried to cook one night we set off all fire alarms in our suites because the gas stove top didnt have a ventilation hood to extract all the steam and smoke from cooking. Our room smelled like salmon for a few days after cooking. Other than that our stay was great. Would definitely come back!
Nothing wrong but price to luxury ratio. Make sure you get one of the nice rooms. They would give higher ratings.
The restaurant is an overpriced joke. Ordered a $240 wagyu ribeye cap and it tasted like a $10 grocery store special. Super disappointed. Other cuts were much better.
We stayed in a 1 bedroom loft suite in the Miller Park building. The private patio with a great view of Miller Park was amazing. The room was equipped with a full kitchen with all the appliances you need, even a toaster! Perfect for our 4 night stay. The continental breakfast was better than most. A waffle station, pastries, cereal, oatmeal, fruit and berries, all good stuff to start the day.We came the day after Thanksgiving so it was off-season and very quiet.Well be staying again for our next trip.
We spent some time in Jackson, WY for out anniversary and enjoyed our time at the White Buffalo Club. The Amenaties are awesome and location is great. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. If your looking for a place to stay in Jackson Hole dont hesitate to stay at White Buffalo.
We came for dinner and it was fantastic! It came highly recommended to us, and I echo that. The restaurant is hidden in the basement across from the gym, but its a gem. Phenomenal food with steak (of course) and interesting combinations of ingredients for other dishes. The environment was casual but felt as fancy as you want to make your trip.
The White Buffalo Club Restaurant is absolutely exquisite! My husband and I have dined here on several occasions and every meal has been delicious. The staff is professional and well-dressed. The menu offers a variety of small plates, additional sides that can also be ordered as starters, as well as a selection of red meat, fish, and fowl entrees. My favorite is the Free Range Roasted Chicken Breast; buttery and rich while being perfectly seasoned and oh-so-tender. My husband raves about the New York Strip; he claims its the best steak in Jackson Hole. One small thing to keep in mind: the dining room is in the underground level of the White Buffalo Club. It is very nicely decorated and feels like a intimate, modern almost-pub; but if you are looking for outdoor seating or a nice view, this isnt your place.
My wife and I are locals. We dont go out very often but try to on special occasions like last year on our anniversary. We decided on the White Buffalo Club due to its quiet, cosy atmosphere and boy did it deliver! Our steaks were perfect and our service was impeccable even in the hard to get good help capital of the world Jackson. Best meal of all times. The only problem is that my wife only wants to go here for all of anniversary dinners from here on out!
Went here on our last day here to get a big steak I cant get at home, like a bison steak so I ordered the most expensive one on the menu and ordered it medium rare and it can out burnt, and what wasnt burnt was well done so I sent it back, about 30 minutes later the replacement came out after everyone else was done so I got to eat by myself, then the bill comes, no consideration what so ever for the piece of charcoal I was paying 43$ for so I had to follow the waiter out of the dining room and ask him why no consideration for the inconvenience and he looked like it was his first week on the job by the look on his face, at least a free beer or something but no, so the bill gets paid, and the manager THEN comes over and offers a gift certificate as if Id ever go back there and tells me that she wasnt able to address it sooner because they are short staffed, long story short they dont particularly care about their customers, they screw up your order, and their service sucks, good luck!
Warm environment, excellent friendly service and an interesting and varied menu. Unluckily I couldnt enjoy a full dinner since I just landed from a 3 transfers flight from Europe, but the two plates I had were very good. A deserved 5 stars.
The atmosphere here was really fun and relaxing. Beautiful room (hospitality suite). The sheets were terrible! The breakfast area was very cozy and adorable, however the food was almost completely carbs (except for yogurt) which was slightly discouraging.
Fantastic hotel. In room laundry, a swimming pool for a tub and an unbelievably comfy bed. Top it off with a great breakfast and first rate service at the front desk.
I picked up some guests for a tour from the hotel. It seemed nice amd the front desk was very friendly. Also, the hotel is in a great location!
Hotel is on the higher price range, but offers rooms with suites complete with kitchenette. Rooms were very stylish and comfortable. Hotel is walking distance to downtown which makes it convenient and quiet. Fitness club is located on site and restaurant is very upscale and high quality.
What an amazing experience! Thanks to everyone, from front desk through restaurant, for such a wonderful presentation. I look forward to my return. Would surely suggest to my friends. Thanks again, White Buff
Very nice place. Customer service very good person. Have inside fitness. Room.
The rooms here are amazing, absolutely beautiful! Their service is excellent as well, the staff really know how to treat their guest. Just blocks away from the town square, we were able to walk right from our room and enjoy what this little town had to offer. Great location! We found a little bagel shop just a couple of blocks away that served fresh out of the oven bagels and nice warm coffee. The girls there are very nice and friendly. We also had breakfast at the Virginian and enjoyed a home style breakfast which was hard to find in this little town. If I had any complaints it would be that it is very difficult to arrange a massage at the White Buffalo, we attempted to make an appointment over the phone but were told they didnt make appointments by phone, we had to do this in person. So although I paid for this service I wasnt able to receive it :( However the staff did make an attempt to accommodate my check out time so that I may receive my massage we were not able to as we had to begin our travels.
Stayed at the penthouse which is offsite at the Pearl. It was nice and we enjoyed it but could have been in better condition for the price. Front desk service was subpar. The blonde lady was kind from the get go but the male working with her was not friendly until he knew we were staying in the penthouse. Hot tub jets also didn’t really work well and softly pushed water out. The location of the apartment was perfect - you were able to walk anywhere you wanted downtown and didn’t have to worry about getting in your car.
The front desk clerk Sonia was very polite and helpful with all our needs. Thank you very much, with out her I believe I would of been lost... you made our family feel like home. Thank you Sonia
This was a great place to stay, nice amenities if you like soft, plush towels bring your own, but everything else was great. Highly recommend the happy hour burgers.
Our stay at the White Buffalo Club was very enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel is in a great location - walkable to eating and shopping in downtown Jackson. The room was luxurious, clean and modern with a great bathroom. And the complimentary breakfast was very much appreciated and ejoyed!
Cozy and comfortable with great service. The rib eye with a side of balsamic brussel spouts was a great dinner combo and the roof top terrace was stellar. Thumbs up.
The server and atmosphere made this our best meal all week. The chef, I think Will, stopped by the table twice to check on us. Shrimp and Cheddar Grits were amazing and buffalo was solid. I think we will go back a second time.
The restaurant is a gem! Great food and atmosphere. One of the best in Jackson. Do not be deterred by the fact that it is in a hotel.
Very nice, close to everything! Would definitely stay again. Friendly staff who were very accommodating.
