Same as many others who have posted before. They do not show up with deliveries, the customer service is none existent. They have a woman working in customer service named Angela, who may be the worst employee ever(literally at any company who has ever existed). What a joke! The owner is probably a joke, then all the employees fall right in line behind him(or her). I wouldnt be able to get up and go to work everyday if I knew the company I worked for was this disliked(maybe hated). They either do not care or they are all idiots. I will let you decide which is worse.

This is the most unprofessional company in Mississippi if you are reading this before placing your order you would do well to pick up your own product if you can do so or ask your place of ordering to use a different company for delivering.Just sad we have to put up with companies like this.

They were an hour past the delivery time, so I google the business and saw all the terrible reviews. I assumed the worst, but my wife pointed out she could track our delivery (from Best Buy) and said its on the truck, and theres 3 orders ahead of us. They called me about 45 minutes later and said they were headed our way. Sure, I would have liked them to be on time, but the product was delivered in tact, and the guys were friendly enough. Works for me.

Douglas Inc. delivers Samsung appliances for Home Depot. I ordered appliances back in June!! When delivery was attempted, the delivery person was not able to disconnect washer hose therefore he suggested taking order back to warehouse & reschedule delivery. From then on continued lies about delivery! Last promised delivery was set for August 5th. Was a no show. So I requested refund which totaled $1,640 on August 6th. Refund still not resolved!!! Will probably end up reporting to BBB & seeking legal action. I do not recommend this company.

I got tired of worring with them on delivery. Had Home Depot cancel the order and return the stove. Most non responsive company Ive ever had the misfortune of trying to deal with. Never called. I had to call them. They never delivered or called on any scheduled delivery appointment time. Wouldnt let me post with no stars.

I purchased appliances from Home Depot and their use of this “free” delivery service is a joke! Douglas express is horrible with deplorable customer service and I do use this term lightly as they have NO clue what customer service is all about. However this is not their fault...they are who they are. This falls in the lap of any business that continues to use this service and frustrate their customers. So Home Depot and others please refrain from using low budget reprehensible services and provide your customers with top level quality and delivery.

I wish I had asked who the delivery company was before I purchased my washer and dryer from Home Depot in Clinton. Home Depot uses contractors and this business is the WORST! I waited all day yesterday as I was given a time slot of 1:00pm - 5:00pm. No show as of 8:00pm last night wherein I took my unhappy self to Home Depot who could not tell me anything. As of right now, 9:26am on 1/7/20, I have not heard anything about my delivery. UPDATE: 1/8/20 - So I finally reached someone yesterday at DED who informed me I had to be rescheduled for TODAY because their driver didnt make it on the previously scheduled date of 1/6/20. I asked why I have to wait another day and a half only to be told their trucks are scheduled a day in advance. No apology, no reason given the driver didnt make it, nothing. Suffice it to say my scheduled delivery is between 1 and 4 today 1/8/20 and it is now 2:00. This is their last chance or Home Depot will be getting their washer and dryer back. This Free service Home Depot offers, isnt even worth Free.UPDATE: NO CALL/NO SHOW ON 1/8/20 EITHER. STILL NO APPLIANCES

I bought a washing machine from Home Depot in Vicksburg Mississippi. Delivery was scheduled for July 3rd. I got a call that all of the drivers had called in sick that day so they couldnt do the delivery. We rescheduled for July 6. I got a call from the company on July 6th, saying that their drivers would not deliver my washer machine because. I was told that supervisors called the drivers and asked them to deliver my washing machine. The drivers ignore the supervisors instructions and took my washing machine all the way back to Jackson Mississippi. Jordan was very helpful at this company however the drivers have no respect for their bosses and will completely mess everything up. I took two days off of work which cost me over $200, for no delivery. I finally called the Vicksburg Home Depot and ask them to change the shipment of the washing machine to be delivered to the Vicksburg Home Depot. They did request that on Monday. The washing machine was supposed to be delivered to the Home Depot in Vicksburg on Tuesday. I checked every day with Home Depot and my washing machine still has not arrived as of Friday July 10th. I just told Home Depot to cancel my order because I have to have a washing machine. When you purchase from Home Depot, be sure to ask who your delivery service will be because this one is completely terrible. I just cant say enough bad things about this company. The only helpful people at this company were Jordan and Barbara. Barbara answered the phone every time I called and was extremely polite. Jordan did the very best that he could to try and reach his drivers and make things work out for me. Beyond these two people, I havenhave respect for the company and all I can say is Buyers Beware. Now that I see other reviews about this company, I have learned a hard lesson. They werent line lying.

My stepmother was lied to they changed the delivery date at the last minute. She waited weeks for the delivery of her dryer she purchased from Home Depot. At the time of her purchase she paid for a dryer vent hose. They did not deliver the hose when they got around to delivering the dryer. She again waited. They stated they would deliver it on Saturday knowing they were closed on Saturday again she waited. They are unreliable and have very poor service. We will not buy from Home Depot as long as they use them for their delivery options.

So I purchased a dryer from Home Depo on May 17th said it will be delivered on June 8th ok no problem. It is now June 22nd and I still Do Not have my dryer!!! I’m about to ask for a refund and go get a dryer from somewhere else. I know COVID-19 has somethings off track but it’s been a months already. I will never ever have anything delivered by DED ever again. I could have brought the dryer home on my back faster!

I was really worried when I saw all the bad reviews. However, my delivery was scheduled from 8-12 pm today and they arrived within the window. My appliances were put together, and they turned on the washer and dryer to show me that they worked. I have no complaints.

Horrible experience. Bought a refrigerator from Home Depot and they use Douglas to deliver. Supposed to arrive between 2-6pm last Thursday after giving us a 30 min courtesy call. Never showed and never called. Rescheduled for today (4 days later) and they never called and said we missed them and that they won’t bring it back by even though they never called and we never laid eyes on them. Cannot believe how awful this experience has been. And we STILL don’t have the fridge, which we paid for two weeks ago now, and still don’t even have an explanation for Thursday or today! AWFUL.

Ordered a dryer from Homedepot on 3/13. Douglas was to deliver it on 3/20 between 12-4 to the store. Went to store after 4 it was not there. Homedepot then call douglas and the person said they would be at store in 30 mins . We waited an hour then went back upfront homedepot customer service said its after 5pm douglas was closed until Monday. Homedepot have no idea why they havent shown and said they would call douglas when they opened first thing Monday. The person told homedepot they have no idea why the delivery people didnt deliver it and had no explanation. Then said next delivery time would be 2 more days later and they would call me with my delivery window time. They did not, I had to call twice to get a time. It was finally delivered on 3/25. After reading all these reviews I believe douglas needs to do some house cleaning and get better employees or retrain them.

Terrible experience with this delivery company. Called to say they were 20 minutes away at 5:20 pm when delivery window was 12:00-4:30 and I had told them I had to leave home no later than 5 pm. Then delivery guy was very rude on the phone. Said they would call me to reschedule, did not provide a contact number or way to reach them. Never called back. Then when I called Home Depot back to reschedule, they gave me a date 2 more weeks away. I had already been waiting 3 weeks. But i agreed to wait because they had promised free installation. Then when they FINALLY showed up, refused to install. Even though Home Depot had guaranteed installation. Left the washer and dryer unboxed sitting halfway in and halfway out of my garage. Absolutely abysmal service. I will not order appliances from Home Depot again because this delivery service that they use is so unbelievably bad.

Horrible scheduling, horrible customer service and rude.Do not recommend them for anything.Waited a month, then day when delivery and install was scheduled, come 530pm no sign of them. A week prior when date was confirmed. I had to cancel Dr appointment, miss some work to give entire day of waiting on them. The woman on phone is rude, acting put out by request of time frame after i waited all day on them. Then hung up on me when i said i was going to contact ahs about delivery times. DONT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE DISREGARDED

The employees are friendly and courteous and the drivers are professional and careful with all of my fine art. I would not trust another company with my precious art. Dealing with this company has been awful. You call to be put on hold for a long period of time. Management is very unprofessional and not trustworthy. Communication between the customer and personnel is unbelievable due to the fact calls not returned as promised, have you waiting with a no show or late with delivery and will quickly say no one was home, not accurate with calling 30 minutes before delivery time. I have also made a personal visit to see if customer service would be better unfortunately no. Also communication between the employees need work as well. I believe better management and customer skill train would be great.

They called me once this morning and I missed the call, called them right back only to find out their office is closed on weekends.Missing that one call means my delivery is now delayed by another two days according to the tracker. Spoke to a representative on January 6th who apologized and rescheduled delivery for January 7th between 8-12. No-show/no call. Representative states that they cant even see the order anymore. Do not use these losers. They were supposed to deliver a refrigerator from Home Depot at 11:40. I was home and saw the truck in front of my house about 11:30. The driver was sitting in the truck and talking on his cellphone when I walked outside and approached the truck instead of delivering my frig. The only time he approached my door was at 11:38 to put a door flyer that he attempted to make the delivery. I called the number on the flyer at 11:42.......I NEVER received a call back from them or anything but a bunch of lies. I called Home Depot and they tried to re-schedule for 2 days from now. Not on your life! I ordered a frig. online from Lowes and it is being delivered tomorrow with their company truck with their competent employees making the installation.

I made an order with Office Depot on Sunday, 6/14. My expected delivery day was Tuesday, 6/16. Package never showed up. Was told it would be here the next day. Never showed up. Next call said the NEXT day. So here we are on 6/18, still no package (delivery was for a desk).We call Douglas Express. Get transferred 4 times to different people, put on hold twice. We call BACK after being told we would be called back (and never were.) Were told the lady was in the warehouse looking for the package. Have yet to hear from them still.Cancelled my order.Customer service was very inconsistent.

I do not recommend Douglas Express Delivery to deliver anything for anybody. I’ve been told several times that my appliance would be delivered on a certain date but he lied.

Douglas did NOT give me a call 30 minutes prior to delivery as they said they would. I have ordered and had appliances delivered to houses that I manage and flip for the past 10 years. This has been the worst experience I have ever had with an appliance delivery. I will let Home Depot know that I will not order appliances from them again since they use Douglas as third party delivery. A week ago I set aside 4 hours in the morning 8-12am, for an appliance delivery to one of my vacant houses. I was told that I would get a call 30 minutes prior to the delivery time. This call did not happen and when I called Douglas it went to the voice mail. the front door had a tag on it that told me to call Douglas to schedule another time (this should not be my job when Douglas did not do their job). Many voice mails and 5 days later I set aside another 4 hours in the morning and waited for the call. I received a call at 4:15 in the afternoon while I was on the way to my evening job. After being on hold for 15 minutes and being redirected to three of the wrong people I was able to speak with the supervisor of appliance deliveries (Ill leave his name out at this time). He said on his word that the appliances would be delivered the next morning. Words werent going to work for me and I asked him what I should do if and when the appliances were not delivered the next morning. He gave me his supervisor cell number. The next day and 12pm I had not received a call so I called the supervisor, he told me he would look into it. At 1:15 I received a call from the delivery guys and they said they were already at the house. When the appliances were placed in the house the delivery guys began to walk back to their truck and I asked them if unwrapping and unboxing was part of the delivery, they said it was and they unwrapped the appliances and began to walk to the door. I then asked them about the 2/4s bolted to the bottom of the appliances and they said they would look in the truck for the wrench, they did not have the wrench. I stayed nearby and postponed things on my schedule for a total of 12 hours, at a minimum spent 30 minutes on the phone, and now need to finish Douglas unpackaging job. Douglas we can set this right If you pay for my time.

The delivery man brought two packages to the door. while trying to enter the building, he smashed one package against the door frame then dropped it on the ground (contained electronics). after watching the delivery man nonchalantly drop the box on the ground, he informed me the package was wet... it contained electronics....pretty garbage service

Got a unexpected 30 minute call prior to delivery in Raymond. Was in Jackson, couldnt get to Raymond in 30 minutes. Driver said he would have it rescheduled for Monday. I made all the arrangements for someone to be here all day Monday. Called office about 4pm Monday, June 10th to be spoken to rudely and then told it would come back out in 7 to 10 days, they only make 1attempt to deliver. I will now pick the shipment up myself. I will also call the shipper to make them aware of the polices as I was sold by the female who spoke to me. Lesson learned ... always specify DO NOT USE DED OR DOUGLAS EXPRESS. Now I know why the use DED instead of Douglas Express Delivery. No delivery and certainly no express. No customer consideration or courtesy either.

HORRIBLE delivery company! DO NOT HIRE!!! I purchased appliances from Home Depot and they were assigned for delivery. They showed up with our refrigerator and tore up part of our front door trying to get it inside. Finally they installed and one of the fuses burnt while they installed it. So now we have to get a new refrigerator and they set up to deliver it and pick up the old one on June 14th between 1-5pm. Well June 14th was this past week and nobody showed up, nobody called. We were supposed to get a 30 minute courtesy call and didnt get it.. We waited all day at home. By 5:30pm we called and placed was closed already and didnt even have the right hours or even a voicemail. Its June 17th and I called this morning to ask about the refrigerator and nobody knew about our refrigerators status. I called again about noon and finally someone told us that the delivery driver came on June 14th and nobody was home! BS!!!! Anyway, they apparently reschedule us to June 21st without even informing us of this date, literally just learned about it because I called! Company is NOT professional, honest, dependable, and reliable! Not satisfied at all. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Safe yourself some time and headaches and find someone better to take care of you and your appliances.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!! ZERO rating deserved!!! No call no show on delivery day. I had to reach out to them 7 times the next day to find out why. You would think they wouldve reached out to me first! SMH! Then I find out that eventhough I was scheduled for delivery a day prior my item wasnt even on the truck the next morning!! Wost people to deal with home depot needs to find better people to deliver items. They were to be at my home by 10.30. Called at 12.40 said they were on their way. Then 2 hours later again call and said there was a power line their Penski truck could not get under. That we would have to go get our items ourself. We then called the manager. She was uneducated and rude, dont use them. Reviews are real. Go find someone else. We had over $6,000.00 in appliances and they just didnt want to deliver them.

Similar to all the other reviews, I had a delivery scheduled for a major appliance through Home Depot. The driver did not show or call. After several days of trying to get through I was told that they did not know why it was not delivered, but it could be delivered at a later date.

Dont do business with these people. They dont have reasonable accommodations for trucks bringing their freight, shippers let their freight stay on the dock. Zero stars, i had a bonafide 8am appt to deliver a load. when i Arrived, at 730, they tell me noooo way, you have to park on the side of the road and come back at 9am. they have plenty of room on their property for a truck to wait. Very on safe to have someone park on a the side of a busy street.

I tried to schedule the delivery of a refrigerator and was told that they would not change the time of delivery. I was rudely treated on the phone by the person doing the scheduling and was told there was no way they would change the time and either accept it or cancel the purchase. I ask to speak to the supervisor and was immediately hung up on. This was through Home Depot and even they were rudely treated they told me.

Never showed up the day they were scheduled, never gave an explanation as to why. We were given a second delivery date, they showed up an hour early with only 10 minutes notice despite us telling them that no one would be home. Never an apology or explanation from the company, horrible customer service on EVERY call, and they just stop answering the phone altogether in the evenings despite claiming to be 24 hour service.

Was told they would deliver my fridge for Home Depot today between 1-5 pm and would give me a 30 min courtesy call. It’s 5:45 and I called to see if they are still coming but they don’t even have a voicemail. Website says 24 hours but their answering service says 7:00-5:30, doesn’t mention what days of the week. Are they coming back tomorrow, Monday, what?This is also a reinstall and they tore the hell out of my doorway getting the fridge in so I’m sure they will only make it worse taking the old fridge out and putting the new one in again.

If you drive an 18 wheeler and making a delivery they dont open up for drivers until 9:00am. Very tight unpaved lot very tight crowded area. Low paying wages, so dont expect any pleasant customer service.

I work for a body shop supply company and we rely on paper trucks to make our deliveries to our customers on a daily basis. It happens sometimes where the paper trucks do not go to some locations so we then turn to DED to deliver. The last several times we have shipped through DED, the packages took a day and a half to get to our customer when it was supposed to be delivered THAT night. They will not call you with any change of time There have been instances where boxes were not picked up for delivery at all! To call them with an issue and get a phone call back in the same day is very rare. We will not be using DED anymore due to negligence, bad customer service, and over all bad business. I did not want to leave the one star but you have to pick one.

The worst experience I have ever had with a delivery. No respect for the customer and it appears no customer service training ever. Delivery was late, I was lied to regarding times of delivery and even the fact that my refrigerator was delivered to them. I was given the run around on the telephone for 2 days and then when my refrigerator was delivered the delivery man stole/took my adapter/connector needed to connect to my icemaker line. I knew it was there I had just had it in my hand. I searched my home all over and just couldnt understand what could have happened to the adapter. And then he told me I needed to contact a plumber. I guess he had use for the adapter given that they removed the old refrigerator. He was probably going to keep it for himself and needed the adapter. After they left I discovered the ice maker water line that came with my new refrigerator was gone, missing. Left me with a scratched up and uninstalled refrigerator. They even removed the refrigerator from its wrappings outside in my driveway for everyone to see. I never ever want to do business with DED ever again and Im advising JC Penney who subcontracted them to quit immediately before the name/service becomes associated with them. JC Penneys has only had their appliance line for a couple of weeks and they are already headed for trouble doing business with DED.

Do not use them !!! Was given delivery time between 111-3pm .Driver called 1 time and did not leave a voicemail. Called later that evening and was told that delivery was attempted earlier that morning. No follow-up..no nothing...
