What appeared to be obvious intentional exclusion as the next walk in hair cut by ignoring us after sitting in lobby for 45 minutes and asking who is next to others who arrived 15 minutes before. They see a tourist a mile away and treat you like they wish you would just leave.

Cash only. Staff and service is great. Had good tunes and conversations while waiting and getting haircut. Recommend, reservations recommended.

I was visiting from Los Angeles to hit the cliffs of Jackson Hole (yewww!). I decided to stop in for a haircut and was delighted with the place. Tanya did a fantastic job (my girlfriend can attest) and we had an absolutely delightful conversation. She gave me fantastic recommendations on things to do, restaurants to eat at, etc. on top of a Grade A cut. Thanks Tanya!

This may be the best cut Ive ever had. The vibe is laid back and there are cool nick knacks on the walls. It felt authentic to the spirit of Jackson. My two sons also got a cut and theirs have grown out so nicely. I wish we could go back but we were visiting from out of town. If youre looking for a barber in Jackson, this is it.

Take cash, costs around $20 for a simple haircut.4 stars because the young lady that cut my hair had the personality of an android, but did do a good job with my hair.The mask ordinance is ridiculous when it comes to cutting around the ears. Should allow to take it off for the 30 or so seconds it takes to cut around the ears and then put back on. Oh well.

Im sure that they do great with most people, but I could tell that my barber was inexperienced with my type of hair (mixed African-American). She had trouble navigating my short curls and a few parts came out uneven, especially the transition from the top to the back and sides. I know that my hairline is a little messed up, but Ive had other barbers handle it much better in the past. Despite this, the atmosphere was great and they all seemed very friendly. I just wouldnt recommend for people with afro-like hair.

Went there in Saturday morning “Drop ins only”, the line was long but the environment is so positive and energetic!Attention to detail was amazing, got in satisfied and got out satisfied. Friendly staff, professional haircut and positive vibes.They have drop in Saturdays or by schedule. The only drawback is that they don’t accept credit cards or debit cards.Recommend this place.

I went and it was a really friendly environment and i waited about 20 minutes for my haircut. The haircut was good except for the stylist forgot to do one of my sideburns and then i walked five blocks and paid a atm fee because they don’t accept cards.

Straight-forward: Exactly what you want from a little barber shop. No frills, no air of exclusivity as you can sometimes run into as a woman going into a barber shop: Just people who are good at cutting hair and charge a fair price. When I went in early (after calling and asking for a same-day appointment, which they were more than accommodating for) I was greeted very warmly and sat a short while as the staff moved other patrons through quickly, but never as though they were in a rush for the chair to be cleared. Peggy was my barber and I cant say enough good things about her. The family in before me had three young boys whose hair she cut and watching her interact with the kids was hilarious and sweet; shes instantly, and very naturally, an engaging and amiable person who makes you feel comfortable in the shop. I told her very specifically what I wanted - just a trim to even up the layers on my growing-out short hair, blunt ends, and the shag off the back - and showed her pictures, and she delivered it perfectly without taking too much length off as most stylists often do. Peggy is efficient and very skilled at what she does; as soon as I sat down in the chair she seemed to know what suited me, what my hair type is, and what works best for it. I struggle a lot with finding a stylist who knows how to handle my nape - I have a very long neck my hairline comes down a bit farther than normal, and the hair there grows in very thick - and the layers she gave me were exactly on-point. If only I werent a seasonal worker in Yellowstone! Id probably keep going here for years to come. Still, Im excited for my hair to keep growing so I can get it touched up by Peggy at least one more time before I go.

Like the barber shop my Dad took me to as a kid. Was in town for vacation, was a Monday and very busy but worth the wait. Great atmosphere and a good haircut. You may need to wait and I believe they only take cash..but was worth it.

Dont go to Mike!! Ive been going here for two years and never had problems until going to Mike. He completely ignored what I asked for in the haircut and wrecked my beard trim to the point I had to shave it off. I left with a bad imitation of a high and tight that I didnt want, a beard with two holes buzzed all the way to the skin, and the right side of the beard was an inch longer than the left (I measured it I was so mad).

Did not get what I asked for. The lady took between 5-10 min to get my haircut done. Fastest haircut I have ever gotten and left very unhappy with the job she did. Really disappointed.

I’m not one to leave bad reviews but this place is ridiculous. I’ve never experienced someone so rude that is actually in the service business. We went to get my 2 year old son a haircut and she acted completely put out that he wasn’t on his best behavior. If you don’t do haircuts for kids, then just tell us when we walk in the door. Don’t wait for us to sit there for 30 minutes. If you have a kid needing a haircut, don’t go here!

The staff was nice enough but i never actually made it to the haircut. I booked an appointment only to find out they had overbooked for the time of my appointment and i would have to wait for what i guessed to be atleast 30 minutes. If i book an appointment I shouldn’t have to wait, Even so Normally waiting wouldn’t be a huge deal for me but This place is small and overcrowded. (just like this whole town lol) it was so crowded i felt uncomfortable waiting inside so i just left. They wasted my time due to poor scheduling. I left unsatisfied with scraggly hair and put off by the whole ordea

Great haircuts and great prices

For all the price was reasonable, I did came away very dissatisfied with my experience. The woman who cut my hair entirely disregarded my instructions regarding the length I wanted and I left with my hair far shorter than Id indicated and certainly far shorter than I prefer. Once it grows back, I will not be returning, and I cant say my experience reflected well on the skill or professionalism of the people employed there.

Dave is the man, my go to barber. He always fix me up. The price is very cheap for Jackson. The ambiance was smooth. The place is clean.

Teton barber seems like a great place with great atmosphere. My friend had a great experience and a great haircut. I however, had my hair cut by a woman who seemed to have very little concern with my hair. After about 7 words she began cutting my hair. I was in the chair for 22 mins I think she spent about 3 of those mins actually cutting my hair. She didnt ask me much of what I wanted and would not stop talking. I requested she stop payed and left.
