HORRIBLE SUPPORT.No updates, long wait times, not keeping up to callback promise. Waiting for 20+ days. The receptionist are super horrible and far away from being empathetic.I also felt a terrible bias how they handle escalation when the receptionist transferred my call to an analysts of my ethnicity, instead of getting the next available person to assist. It makes sense if the assigned person is unavailable then next available representatives to help. However, having to wait on call just to ensure same ethnicity person is assigned is NOT right. VERY HORRIBLE BIAS!!!Basically, I requested help as I have been waiting for 20+ days and instead of having my concern addressed having a person of my ethnicity handle my case looks more racial.So does H&R Block mean to say only a person with similar ethnicity will be able to help me ??? And no one else would help?? This would be my LAST Time to use H&R Block service in ISSAQUAH. Horrible!!However, thanks to Shubam who went through my concern and details and helped me.

I have always done my taxes but they were getting complicated with our retirement and stock sales. I decided to ley a professional do it this year to see if there were any deductions I was missing. I am pleased with the work my tax professional did though

I waited over 20 minutes past my appt time. He never asked about deductions for my prescriptions or my payments for medicare advantage. I just wanted to get out of there. I have used H&R Block for years and I am not going to base this terrible experience on future recommadations. I know that I didnt get all the deductions I am allowed but I had another obligation and I had to get to.I am totally dissatisfied.

I was a returning customer from last year requesting the same person as last year and it was even faster and easier this time. Robert did an excellent job for me as I am inexperienced with doing my taxes myself and was able to explain a lot for me.

Cost way to much money!cost is too high. in poverty and this was a simple w-2 with 1 depends!

Our last years taxes were not filed correctly I can never get a hold of someone to talk to they make this way harder than it should be. Now Im stressed out trying to do it this year but since they messed up last years we cant.

This place after charging owner it turned into mess .I was going to this place for a long time but not any more . they couldn’t find my file the person who was doing my tax left my tax paperwork called sick for a long time . They said it’s “ COVID .” What’s COVID doing with doing taxes at home !!! I would never go to this place again !!!!

Lori Meyer was excellent! Lori provided great service and was able to complete our complex return. I hope that Lori is able to read this review as we would like her to know how much we appreciated her efforts and are thankful we were able to work with her. Lori was able to not only complete our complex Tax return, but was also able to work with us to explain the differences between our taxes from year to year so that we were satisfied with the results. We know she worked very hard on our return, and provided that extra effort that makes going to the Issaquah H&R Block office worth it!

Was painless much easier than doing it myself

If you are looking for careless, disrespectful and unprofessional tax preparers, this is the right place for you! We gave them our tax documents 3 days prior to the tax filing deadline and we were told that someone in their office would work on it and we would be contacted on July 15 at 4 PM. We then called at 7 PM and then told they would complete the return before midnight and we could sign electronically. Unfortunately, we were never contacted. On the 17th, I called and I was told that “they would eventually get to our return” word for word. Mind you, i did not even provide my name at that point. Then, we were told that the someone forgot to give us a call and the manager would handle our return and given an appointment a week later. I waited for a phone call and no one gave us a call. Two days later, I called their office and was told that someone would call us before 7 and who I assumed to be the manager mentioned that no one gave her our documents until this point. When I asked what time to expect her call, she said sometime before 7, and she would not give me the time because she has other returns a to work on. I just can’t fathom how these people remain in business with their absurd service. We will be taking our service somewhere else.

Very disorganized office. I called and was told I have an appointment in the office on Saturday 7/11 at 11am. I show up only to be told that the person i was supposed to meet was not in, and to leave my paperwork since they werent doing in-person appointments. I was told will receive a call at 12:45pm Sunday 7/13 if the person working on my taxes had questions.Called on Sunday at 2pm to check what the status is and they cant find my paperwork, and then subsequent call back saying they will work on my paperwork on Monday (if they can get to it).I asked to have my paperwork deleted and cancel any more work.

Roberto was excellent. However, I filed 2018 tax through H&R and this year I realized I could have claimed tax deductions for my 2 kids. I did miss almost 1000 USD.

Really appreciate the professionalism but also friendliness of our H&R Block representative, Lori Meyer She helped to make the painful process of tax returns enjoyable. Also. were very happy with the result. Im sure we would never get that level of refund without her expertise.

Im sure there are some good tax professionals there but most are just clicking through the same software you would be if you were doing your own return. Definitely not worth the cost.

H & R Block takes good care of me. Ive lived here 7 yrs and had 3 different people do my taxes at Issaquah office but all have done a good job and been very nice. I am pleased and already have my appt for 2020.

The person I worked with Priti, was amazing to work with. She was very caring and compassionate. I appreciate that she leveraged her colleagues when she was unsure of one of my tax forms to ensure that my tax return was handled with much care. The office in Issaquah, WA works as a team!

Shubham was great help, she dedicated extra time to my case and took care of making sure that the return was submitted successfully so that we wouldnt need to make another trip.

The Tax Professional we’ve used the last several years is incredible. Love working with her.

I did my tax return with my associate. Then after filing the tax return I double checked what got submitted. The tax return on my state tax was incorrectly entered for California rather than for Washington. Once I realized this I sent an email to her. (Notification if incorrect filing sent the day of tax day).she responded that I would need to amend the return in person and suggested a Saturday. I did not want to come in for a mistake not done by me and did not require any additional info other than to mail in the proper forms. She said that she needed my documents/ folder to proceed with the returns. I did not have them due to her keeping them since i needed to calculate my moving deduction and approve online. So I said that she had them. I mentioned a rough figure for the return to be submitted. She then responded the exact amount even though my rough estimate is hard to confuse with (eg. 13 vs 23 and 30 ish). Anyways it’s been a long email thread and still has yet to be sent.

This is the second time we are filing tax returns with Verma Rao. She gives good suggestions, and helps us plan better.

Peace of mind - I dont have to research any changes in tax laws, and I know that the tax return will be done correctly.

Very unprepared, waited over 35 mins for a SCHEDULED appointment, ended up leaving and having to RE-SCHEDULE, very unprofessional, very un-organized. For the amount I was charged, I sure dont feel like I got the service, attention or outcome I deserve.
