Marie Martin was my property manager for 3 miserable years. First night, the dryer caught fire - she tried to blame us. Their handyman created a leak in our wall = mushrooms sprouting from the wall - she blamed us for being dirty. She complained about the lawn when it was just done. The place was INFESTED with spiders. Just a small sample of the misery.Do not rent from these people!!

Working with Aaron and his team was a blessing. We were first time home buyers and so it took us a while to figure out what we wanted and where. Aaron offered so much great advice and perspective and has an immense knowledge of the area, he was also very patient with us and our millions of questions. There is also the additional bonus of Aaron just being a wonderful human being and we really enjoyed being around him and felt immediately very comfortable. Aaron served as my realtor twice and I had excellent experiences with him both times. The first was to see my parents mid-century modern home. It needed work before it could be sold and Aaron knew exactly who to contact for good service at a reasonable price. He was very responsive and friendly at all times and got a good price for the house. The second time I used Aaron was to sell undeveloped land in Issaquah. Due to a variety of problems with the lots and location it took awhile, but Aaron once again had good ideas about how to make the land more saleable and put me in touch with good contractors. Aaron was referred to my wife and I through a friend. We could not be happier with the recommendation. After multiple offers, our home sold very quickly (and for much more than expected) . No integrity here! I have lived and rented in various states over the last several years and have never had a worse experience with rental management than with the Janus group. The Janus group bought my rental contract while we were living at the property. As I purchased a home, I was honest and upfront about my moving timeline and AGREED PER THEIR REQUEST TO MOVE OUT EARLY in order for them to rent out the property sooner. Then, upon moving out, they had LOST ALL OF THE MOVE IN PAPERWORK, and therefore charged me for anything not in “perfect condition.” All was normal wear of the property, including that of the previous tenants (which was fully documented in photos in the move in paperwork). Getting an email from the previous property manager confirming that she indeed received this move in paperwork, as well as resubmitting copies of this paperwork did not sway their decision. THEY ELECTED TO NOT FOLLOW THE TERMS OF THE CONTRACT. Charges included the cost of paint for the property, even though all the paint they needed was in the garage. They were NOT WILLING TO ADMIT THEY WERE AT FAULT in the least. Then in the most unprofessional manner, Marie, my given contact from their group, BLOCKED OUR CELL PHONE NUMBER DURING THE TIME THAT WE WERE STILL TRYING TO SETTLE THIS ISSUE. Their last response was simply that they will no longer respond to our communications. I would never recommend working with this group.Response to owner reply: Yes all they would have to go on is the move-in inspection. That is the issue here. We had completed that, and upon our contract going to your group, Janus Group lost that paperwork. Therefore we were even charged for the wear and tear that was done by the previous tenant before we moved in. Which would have been seen in the inspection paperwork (because we took lots of pictures) had it not been lost. I can also confirm it was lost because I have the email from the manager of the other group beforehand confirming that the paperwork and pictures were received. By the way, it is odd to respond a year after we moved.

Aaron has been very supportive of all our needs as seller. We were moving to UK and selling the house. Aaron took care of getting the house ready for showing after we left and made sure we didnt have to worry about all the things. He is also very knowledgeable about the market and got pricing and details all right for closing. He was responsive to calls and questions from our side at odd hours due to time difference.We definitely recommend Aaron if you need agent in Eastside area.
