Very positive, professional experience. Pricing seemed fair and the installers definitely take pride in the work they are doing and care about keeping their customers happy. I was honest and forthright with them and they were with me too. Adam, Rock, Sam and Matt were all awesome will absolutely come back.
Had a new system installed in my coupe. Ariel greeted us and assisted us with picking which equipment I wanted, the pricing, and any questions we had, he was great. I unfortunately did not catch the install guys name, he had curly brown hair, was very friendly, he was also very helpful answering questions. They were able to get it installed next day which was awesome for my schedule! Overall the experience here was great and I would recommend them!
Please do not take any job, if you are not capable of doing it professionally. I paid $378 just for a car wash which I could have done at brown bear myself using the manual wash and may be max pay $25. It was such a rip off. PLEASE DO NOT CHEAT PEOPLE LIKE THIS. Do call me if you have any questions.
I can’t tell you how disappointed I am in the service I received. I took my car in for interior detailing after someone had puked in the back seat. Puke even getting into the vents and cracks in the backseat. I made this clear to the associate who helped me. He told me no problem and that they could handle it. When I received my car back, on the surface level everything looked fine…however after further inspection I found puke was still in the vents and cracks. That and the back seat still smelled like vomit. Beyond disappointed with the service I received. Avoid this place at all cost.
Edit on to my previous review below:I would highly recommend taking your car somewhere else, anywhere else. Now that I had the chance to take my dash apart I’ve seen how horrible of a job was done. They botched cutting the plastic on my dash and made it so the original radio won’t be able to fit back in. Total hack job. if they were gonna cut the plastic they could have made it at least look nice, not like it was cut out with a hand saw. And with the plastic kit they used to install the radio it won’t fit nicely or flush in the dash. I had to go on Amazon and buy the correct kit to make it fit in the dash (and I brought this up to them before I drove off with my truck and they said there was nothing they could do to make it look nicer). The new radio installation kit is not the only thing I had to do. They did not connect the apple car play plug in (which I had asked for) and the wire work looks like a kid put it together. I was really trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and a chance to fix it. I responded to their comment on my earlier review and they never called. Now I’m out $300 I paid for an installation that I just had to redo and all the time and money I spent fixing their job. Really disappointed, I would have liked to change my review for the better, but they asked me to reach out then never responded or tried to hear my situation out. I also took pictures of their job before I fixed it in case they wanted a chance to make it right.I took my truck in there to get a new radio installed as well as look at subs and a back up camera. for the radio installation only it was over $300 just to have the radio set in the dash crooked and not flush. They said the radio was to small to fit perfectly but I still believe for paying 300 dollars there could have been a little extra effort to get the trim to at least sit straight. When I asked about subs I said I was looking for something like what I had in my other truck because trucks don’t have a lot of space for big boxes. They said they couldn’t get anything to fit in there unless they started cutting away room behind the seats. Which I did not want to do because I know there is other options that could fit behind or under the seats because I have them in my other truck. Ultimately not super happy with the experience. I took my truck there because, while I could install it myself like my other truck, I wanted it to be done professionally. But I ended up getting the same if not less quality then if done at home. Seemed like the only thing important to them was to have a radio that works no care about the visual appearance in the dash.
Broke my car and left me hanging. They destroyed the battery. (Mechanic confirmed) called corporate 2 times no answer or return call. Nothing. Just get your car out of here. Dont do business w these guys. Over 600$ and a non working car. They might as well have told me to get lost when they broke my car. No answer. Nothing. DO NOT GO HERE
Went in to get my windows tinted, same day job done quickly and it looks great. Friendly service from all employees, especially Adam and Renee. Will definitely be going back to get other work done.
I’ve ruled out ever doing business with this Car Toys. I’ve been researching options to soundproof a new Toyota vehicle. After calling several locations and getting helpful information and quotes, I called Car Toys and was told I couldn’t get an estimate over the phone and had to bring my vehicle in. I asked why they couldn’t give a quote for a very common vehicle: have they not ever worked on them? I finally was put on hold for 10 minutes and then given a quote range of $600 to $6000. Since the best shops in Bellevue that service very high end vehicles (Ferraris, etc.) all readily provided quotes, and all were $2000 or less I have to wonder what Car Toys personnel are smoking to ask that much, and then only reluctantly.
Not free installation! Payed almost as much as I did for the speakers to get it installed. Also, there were scratch marks all over on the interior panels when I came to pick it up.
Stopped by for a sub enclosure,ended up getting exactly what I wanted and Ariel gave good guidance
Without an appointment or prior notice, I dropped by Car Toys to ask about a problem with my cars audio; a product that was not purchased from them. They promptly and courteously analyzed and fixed the problem. Highly impressed with their great customer service

Need better quality control. I had to bring the car back the next day because the backup camera was installed incorrectly and the airbag light was on. After picking it up the second time the radio wasnt fully flush with the trim like it was the first time but didnt feel like dealing with it again.
I bought a Groupon for interior detailing. These guys did an amazing job on my car. All the stains are gone, the ozone cleaner they used makes my car smell amazing and ALL the dog fur is gone. (I did ask about the dog fur and paid a little extra to have it removed, they did a spectacular job. Looks like I never had a dog in the car!) I would recommend Car Toys to anyone looking to have an interior detailing done. I’ll definitely go back!
Issaquah location: staff was courteous in checking me in. The store manager (Adam?) was very helpful! I had a BT connectivity issue and made it seamless to address and fix. I am quite ecstatic it was fixable as I am very attach to my 6-CD radio system; so glad they were able to fix it and also instruct me how I could de-scramble the satellite station next time if it disconnects again. I am a very happy and thankful customer!
My husband and I are very happy with the car detailing done on our cars. I called this morning for a same day detailing service. I was told that I could bring the car within minutes. The staff I talked to was very professional and they did the work in less than 4 hours. I believe there was a mold growing on the trunk of the car and there was also smell coming from there. I was very happy to see that the car was cleaned perfectly and there was no foul smell any longer. Being happy with their work, we brought our second car for detailing and they again did such a great job. We are definitely going back again when we need their service

Sean at the Issaquah car toys is the GOAT. Love him. Got some killer speakers installed a couple of weeks ago and Sean tuned them to sound perfect. Came back in to ask about a rattle in my door and he fixed that too. Hes the best! Whole team is great and Im really grateful for them. Took my Honda Fit here because it sat at my grandmothers house for about 2 years and collected mildew and a terrible smell. My grandfather tried killing it by sprinkling baking soda everywhere and it was so hard to get out of the carpet and the the seats. So I caved and got a detail done at the Issaquah Car Toys and they exceeded my expectations. Super happy with it. Got everything out of the carpets and seats. The car smelt like absolutely nothing WHICH IS HOW A CAR SHOULD SMELL. Great job. Thanks
Below average Interior detailing (it is not detailing it is just vaccuming).I wanted to get my interior detailed after a long road trip and CAR TOYS offered me their signature detailing package with around 15% off. I had bad experience on the work they had done.1. They just did shampoo on the back seat just on the sitting area. Never touched on the back support portion of the seat.2. Residue from the shapoo is formed as a curved lines every where on the seat. I have to redo all the work after spending $170.3. They just vaccumed the interior, nothing really cleaned or detailed.4. Never touched the front seat at all.5. Car mats are cleaned though. It was a pleasant welcoming.When I show them then they said, that is the best they can do. So beware before you go for interior detailing, I am not sure about other works they do.I WOULD SAY THIS IS NOT THE BEST INTERIOR DETAILING SHOP IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR INTERIOR DETAILING.ThanksSarith
Guess the employees are allowed to block handicap ramps and park in handicap accessible areas? Guess Car Toys Issaquah doesnt care about people with disabilities. Shame. Second the Car Toys in Tacoma quoted me less for a job than the Issaquah location. Doesnt take 4 hours to install a camera and head unit. The labor cost more then the Pioneer unit. Doesnt add up. Go to a another venue who appreciates its customers.

I paid for installation on the radio and speakers almost 400 dollars. they called me to tell me my wire was cut in the door.. they asked if I wanted it fixed to hook up the new speaker.. they told me I had to pay more money to have it fixed.. I asked how much they said another 100 dollars.. I told them no thanks I would do it... I got my sons truck home and fixed it... it was a easy fix ( butt connector ) I just don’t know how come they needed another 100 to fix while they where already installing the speaker..
Had auto-start ignition & alarm installed on older model Jeep. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, store manager provided excellent customer service throughout. Pleased to learn work is guaranteed for as long as we own the rig- and can go to Any Car Toys nationwide if we ever have any issues. Very happy with products & customer service!
Had radio Install at Lynnwood wa car toys poor experience with staff and subpar workmanship. I had issues with the deck, not wanting to go back Lynnwood I stopped at the Issaquah cartoys and Aaron the manager he took care of everything very professional fixed all of the issues that Lynnwood had created. It wasnt for Aaron this would have been a one star review
Im not one to write a review, but had to share my experience. We scheduled a detail using groupon interior and exterior. We walked in and was surprised by first, how many employees were there (roughly 10) and how only 2 people were wearing masks. When going out to go over the car, he upsold us on services as the groupon was only a basic interior/exterior. I opted for the pet hair vacuum and waxing. When we got back inside is when it got weird. We overheard an employee complaining to his manager (likely?) that we needed to reschedule and he didnt have enough time to complete our detail, then stormed off. We sat there with the original employee helping us quietly until the manager who had talked with the disgruntled employee offered for us to either a)leave our car there overnight or b) reschedule. Well, we werent rescheduling because we were there already so had to leave the car overnight (we arrived at 9:30am FYI). I left a 2 star review because the quality of work was mostly good, but the lack of professionalism from the staff stuck out. Wont ever be back.

I have had car toys do work on about 7 vehicles its always been decent. This last visit I will NEVER GO BACK! There wasnt one thing they worked on that wasnt messed up or broken and I had to go back multiple times to fix!They screened my calls until I called on another phone! Issaquah car toys is unprofessional and unresponsive!I will never go back!
Updated: If I could rate it a zero I would. I brought my truck in to have reverse pods mounted to my hitch to be hooked up to my toggle switch in my cab. I specifically asked not to have it hooked up to my reverse lights when I put it in reverse. They hook it up to my reverse lights and then want charge me extra on top of that hook it up to my toggle switch. Basically I paid them to install it incorrectly and then they want to charge me more to install it correctly. I guess if you want something done right you have to do it yourself.The upgrade: Even after commenting on my review they haven’t reached out to fix the problem. What’s the point of “trying better for new customers” how about you start by making it right with your current customer.
Its kind of mixed feeling. I got excellent feed back from friends. So when i saw GROUP ON deal i bought it.Feedback:when sunlight falls on dashboard, i can see dried wet marks. So they cleaned it, but they didnt wiped again with dry cloth to clear the marks.I thought, because i bought GROUP ON Coupon, they didnt do 100% job.

Kirk, Aaron and staff were very friendly and accommodating. I was very impressed with their amazing customer service. I went there for an interior clean of my car. They treated my car with respect as I noticed the amazing detail they did to it. I would highly recommend this location and will refer my family and friends here.
Got an appointment to get my windows tinted on my truck, waited a week for my appointment and took work off to take my truck in, the manager had forgotten the keys to the store and couldnt get in and then they couldnt find my appointment and their window tint guy never showed up. They are a mess and now I will have to take another day off from work to get my windows tinted somewhere else.
Solid service. Put in a great set, but always seems like this work is a little more expensive than one would like. But I cant fault the end product.
Kirk and team were super helpful. I had a basic job on an older car, and our battery died after the service. The team graciously charged my battery and got me up and running again, at no cost. Id recommend them for great work.

My husband bought $99 Groupon from Issaquah CarToys for interior detailing. They told him that he could only get a “Groupon Service.” This meant no shampoo, no trunk cleaning, basically vacuum the car and a quick wipe down of the interior surface. What a scam!The car still looks like it needs to be cleaned.
I should have known better then to go to Car Toys with all the horror stories on here. That said, I would never have expected to have such a terrible experience and to see such embarrassing workmanship as I did at the Issaquah Car Toys. The amount of negative reviews should be enough to deter you but if not, let me explain.I brought in my completely stock vehicle to have the head unit replaced with a wireless Apple Car play unit. The staff seemed friendly enough however once I pIcked up my car after the install the problems began.As soon as I got in the car after no one offered to show me how anything worked even after asking, I noticed wires hanging out from under the dash behind a panel that was supposed to close that after the install no longer did, a new microphone hanging from the top of my headliner even though I specifically told them I wanted them to use the existing built in microphone and a terribly installed new head unit that wasn’t flush with the dash and set at an angle. I thought after waiting for most of the day I didn’t really want to wait any longer so I decided to leave and just fix these things myself since it was clear I really didn’t want these “installers” touching my car again. When I put the car into reverse, the backup camera no longer worked which had been working fine since I purchased the car new 5 years ago.When I explained to the sales person what I was looking for I made it perfectly clear all I wanted was a new head unit that tied into all of my factory options specifically the backup camera and he assured me that would be no problem. He conveniently left out what they would actually have to do to get that to work. Once I went back in to explain the camera didn’t work they told me to come back the next day and they could get it working.When I came back at the stated time they bumped me back by an hour which was disappointing as I was now spending my second day sitting at a car toys. After working on the car for about two hours they explained the reason the camera didn’t show up on the screen was that “the factory camera wasn’t working” and “I would need to buy a new one from them”. I shouldn’t be surprised they didn’t take ownership of the issue since it is Car Toys after all but after I said I would buy another factory camera they said that wouldn’t work either. Pretty obvious it was there fault but of course I’m now on the hook to buy a camera from them. They installed the new camera which is junk compared to the factory one and broke a few plastic clips in the headliner which I decided I would replace myself to save the hassle of spending one more second with people who should never be aloud to touch a car again.I ended up pulling everything they did apart in my garage and fixing the ridiculous issues myself which I should have just done in the first place.If you have made it this far in the review, I beg you to not waste your money with these useless installers and don’t be fooled by there fast talking manager who pretends to care and be your friend until they make a mistake and all of a sudden your on the hook to pay them more money for something they said would be done in the first place.
Highly upset and dissatisfied at first I thought there was much love, and respect,Awesome friendly, welcinoming, patient and knowledgeable staff. They have Very fair prices and a decent selection. Satisfaction guaranteed for sure I was promised or so I thought and was told. They even promised to work past closing to ensure job got completed, and done right. Well its my 5th time back! And jobs still incomplete They are dog friendly. I am Very unsatisfied with there services. At first I gave five stars and would have Highly recommended to anyone who needs or wants upgrades for there vehicles. But as I sit here hopeless I mustSay Thanks for leaving me hanging car toys Issaquah!After spending almost 4k and coming back 5 times, calling off work, waiting close to 35 hours I have a good sound system, but the 800$ alarm drone version, only works to lock the doors, the perimeter wont work, the trunk wont pop with fob, and the alarm wont go off when I open the trunk,and the blue LED security light doesnt flash,been sleeping in my car for 3-4 nights so no one can steal my sounds, who dont bump when they were told security was all set up. Im highly upset, and left out to dry, waiting while customers who came after me, got serviced every time I came, I am now sitting in the parking lot after working two 16 hour graveyard shifts Saturday and Sunday, and I worked an 8 hour shift today on Monday and i still cant get help cause the Techs went home and its only 7p.m, and the parking lot is empty. 150+ miles driven on my car that has 180k + miles + another 500$+ in called off work, plus gas,wear and tear on my car, and another night of sleeping in my car, to nervous to leave my car, just today had someone try to break in my car while I was taking a shower and it was broad daylight! Guess Ill go back to Seattle now and hope for the best, maybe tomorrow, maybe not. Will they jack my speakers when I go shopping or am working? Who knows? Im to the point of wanting to return everything, but Id still have to pay for the labor lol!
Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever had. I was spending quite a bit on some nice audio equipment and other electronics for my vehicle. They said it would take no longer than 5 hours to install. Well that was far from the truth. After I called them multiple times checking up on the job they had a different excuse every time for why they need a longer amount of time. Fast forward 24 hours later (19 hours longer than when they said they’d be done) the job was only 1 hour away from being completed. After the hour was up I took my merry self into their location and once again they told me 1 more hour. Fast forward an additional 3 hours I call them AGAIN and they told me AGAIN that it will be done in 1 hour. I finally lost my patience and told them that they already told me 1 more hour twice before. The gal on the phone said “okay” then hung up on me! At this point, my day has been completely flipped upside down and I called one more time to tell them to take everything out that they installed and give me a refund. Unfortunately for me labor can’t be refunded so I lost money to a company who has 0 respect for their customers. Who knows when I’ll get my car back.
Car toys locked the first set of keys i gave to them in my car. So it was a big inconvenience to myself. They did Not communicate with me of when my car was done or not. I myself had to call in and check in if it was done or not. Took 5 days to pick up my car to pick up a supposedly 3 day project.
I went in this evening ready to go by a stereo. The store manager was nice and helpful as I looked at different options. When it came to quoting a price for the install, I felt a bit like I was buying a used car. Very expensive prices for wiring harnesses, and additional fees if you want things to be programmed to work properly. My $275 stereo very quickly became a $939 total cost with install. This is not to say that Im not willing to pay for an install, but having purchased things over the course of my life I know when Im being taking advantage of, that was obviously the case here.After all this the install manager showed up and informed me that my subwoofer would no longer work if I proceeded with the install. I actually think this is wrong as Ive done my research online but lets put that aside for now. After looking in my car he then proceeded to tell me that the quote was no longer good, because I had Bluetooth it was going to be more and now its going to cost me $1,160. I will also say that this was delivered in a very flippant I dont give a s*** kind of way. Very little if any empathy for the customer.Needless to say I did not buy and I will never buy from CarToys. I have spent the evening researching how to do my own install. I think I can cut my total cost in half and still end up with a better unit than I would have got for $275 at car toys.Avoid these guys at all cost, I think I was wrong to compare them to used car salesman. Thats insulting to use car guys.
They were honest with the stereo I bought would work for my 1986 trans am flip up DVD player they finished it on time even the technician had to modify the backing behind the stereo and mount the usb it looks awesome and fits perfect 2 thumbs up 👍

Issaquah put a stereo in my car that has a flaw, I’ve called every day since and can’t get anyone to even answer the phone. I leave message every single day with no return call. I finally made an appointment with a helpful person at the Southcenter location so they can fix the problem that Issaquah probably innocently made: but won’t even answer the phone to deal with. Not to mention, they don’t check their messages- or return them. Very disappointed after all the $$ spent there.
Friendly service and no pressure sales. Was given options rather than trying to be sold expensive gear. Will return again for work to be performed.

After the install, I wasn’t thrilled how the stereo dial location ended up and Marco made some excellent suggestions, and then did the labor to fix it at no charge! Class act and a FANTASTIC installation! Kirk really values customers and makes sure they are happy when they leave the store. Love this customer focused attitude. Btw, the guy who installed the backup camera did a beautiful job. Total craftsman.
Went to Issaquah Car Toys on the recommendation of a friend. The experience was perfect. The people there got me exactly what I needed. The price was fair and the work was done on time. After the work all the things I needed to know were explained to me carefully until they were understood. Now I enjoy the great products and use them daily as I drive. Highly recommend the Issaquah branch of Car Toys.

Just had a new remote start and alarm put on my older 4runner. I originally bought a super simple package from them. 2 hours into the install they called to tell me that it wouldnt work with the factory alarm the way we had thought.I told them to cancel the job and without hesitation they started to remove it free of charge because it didnt meet their stated expectations!In the end I upgraded my kit and they offered a nice discount. Gabe did my install and it was masterful. I wont hesitate to return. Great prices and custom/skilled work.
Unfortunately I was really hoping I would have a positive experience with Car Toys. My Wife and I had our Land Rover completely set up at the old Bellevue location so very familiar with the set up and walk-through. I spent nearly an hour here with the Assistant manager going through how to set up my Rubicon for a solid system. I was a little put off that he was pushing his personally made subwoofer boxes for about 2000% more than the stock boxes sold in the store. They have extremely limited options at this store for radio/full screen units, same for subwoofers entirely. Once we agreed on what pieces I wanted the goal was to get an invoice/quote to talk with my Wife and pay over the phone that same day or evening. After he tallys it all up he then said we have this really old system that requires a deposit in order for me to print anything with prices. How he kept a straight face while saying that, I dont know but it was absolute BS. If even remotely true with the amount of money they charge in a week they could buy a system built for this decade. So...I went to a competitor in Bellevue, got my printed quote...Decided to proceed and then paid them $3100 over the phone. I encourage everyone to do their due diligence, the abundance of bad reviews here isnt a coincidence.
I would give -5 stars if I could. The whole staff was unprofessional, went there to install some aftermarket headlights. They installed it and it all worked well until I realised that something was burning under my hood. I open it just to find out that they put a piece (part of the headlight set) that was burning hot right next to some plastic parts!!! It melted my power steering reservoir and my windshield wipers fluid reservoir. Gave was in charge of installing it so I went back to ask him to fix it, he told me that it’s the parts quality that was bad.. I did some research and funny enough I found a page that was talking about this part that was burning everything because of how hot it was and it said under a huge red warning sign that THESE PARTS GET EXTREMELY HOT. DO NOT PUT THEM ANYWHERE CLOSE TO MATERIAL THAT CAN MELT, PUT IT ON METAL. Gabe, did the exact opposite and said that it shouldn’t get that hot.When correcting it he told me that he was giving me a favour by not making me pay! As in not making me pay for the mistakes that he made?I went on to speak to the store manager who told me that I was being disrespectful to the whole team, and that I should not come back to do business with them. Ryan the manager is as unprofessional as anyone else in their team.Never coming back.
I was looking to get a sub installed and called to see if they could do it same day. On the phone I was told by the manager that yes they could fit me in and I stated I would be there. I got there and was told that they couldnt fit me in today even though they had everything sitting out for me already. I am extremely disappointed in Car Toys and had gone to them after Frys had annoyed me and I was willing to pay the extra $100 for install.
The worst place for service and installation. Dont even bother. I had them install my K40 laser/radar detector, dropped it off at 9am and they said it would take the full day until 5pm. Got there at 5 and it wasnt 30% complete. I left there at.12:30am the following day, thats 15.5 hours. Adding more insult to injury, the install wasnt done properly, the GPS unit was rattling in my trunk lid, came back the following Friday and there was a deep gash in my front wheel well on a brand new car. They wouldnt take responsibility for the damage and cost me another $1000 for paint repair. No discount, credits, or responsibility. Im not the only one posing a horrible review and I usually dont post bad reviews but I felt I had to. Dont do business there.
The current crew is the best to date! 5 stars because they have gone out of their way to take care of me and their other customers! Price, service, and quality installation is why I keep coming back!

Went in to buy a cell phone holder and when I went to purchase they refused to sell it to me because I wouldnt give them my phone number. I have a new number because solicitors kept calling and did not want that happening. I went to Best Buy and had no issues purchasing my cell phone holder.
DO NOT GO HERE!!!I called at 12:30 in the afternoon to ask if they could look at a speaker that was shorting out ( that Tukwila store installed) and to add a backup camera. The assistant manager checked the schedule and told me its wide open so I asked if I could be there in 30 minutes he said yes. I arrived a little after 1:00 and we discussed again what needed to be done and the backup camera that was best for my needs. He estimated about an 1-1/2 hours to get it done. He said it will be a few minutes before they could get to it if I wanted to take a seat or leave it. I told him it was my only transportation so I would wait.Long story short almost 3 hours later my truck was still sitting out front untouched. I asked the other salesperson there to check on when they would get to it as I was getting upset. He came back and said they were finishing up another vehicle that was giving them problems and they would get to mine in 2 hours and then it would take 2 hours to finish it. 4 more hours. It was now 4:15 . I was very upset for wasting around 3 hours for nothing when they said they would get to it in a few minutes. I got my keys back and left. All they said was sorry do you want to make another appointment.DO NOT GO HERE! They tell you what you want to hear to get you in and then just let you wait and wait with no communication of what is going on.
I went there to trying to improve my BMW 5 series audio performance. Both John and Ben was was very helpful to find the best solution for my car. The customer service from both of them was awesome, not to mention the extensive knowledge that Ben has. A very good experience and will recommend my friend to use their services.
I purchased a stereo from another store, during the installation process they broke my clutch switch. For several days I could not drive the vehicle. But then Austin from the Issaquah store fully refunded the stereo I purchased which was defective.

Poor interior detailing service- they missed entire patches where they didn’t clean. For an interior detailing service that cost 200$ +. Poor customer service on top of that. Safe to say, we will not be returning.
I have only called for some Advice on my broken car stereo and these guys were so friendly and so helpful to provide me with as much information as they had and could recommend.. Really in my opinion above and beyond what they had to do over a phone call that didnt necessarily warrant my new business as a customer..I can assure you I will definitely look for a reason now to give them my business in the near future...what a nice group of guys...

I went there the day after black Friday after seeing a special on their website that indicated some discounted car stereos plus free installation. When I mentioned that to the staff in the store they said that these were for specific types of stereos only without even showing me which types these were for!! And then one guy told me that they do have a very good discount on one of their high-end stereos but it does include the installation cost... After I went back to their website, I found the exact same stereo with the same discounted price plus free installation..!!!These guys really need to work on their customer service skills...Update 12/10:Im changing my review form two stars to a single star, and heres the reason why: I ended up buying a stereo from that store and that was supposed to get installed on Saturday November-30th, so I left my car at their shop and at the end of the day they called me to inform me that they were unable to install the stereo due to some part in the frame that was cracked while they were installing it, and they needed to order a new one, which will take a couple days...The called me Friday evening of the following week to inform me that they have the part (six days after). And gave me an appointment for Saturday December 07 to get the stereo installed...I brought the car to them on Saturday at 3:00 pm and theyve indicated that theyll call me once its done. around 7:45 (15 minutes before their closing time) I called them to check whats going on, and theyve mentioned that the call is done! and I should able to pick it up...I went to the store and waited for 20+ minutes after 8:00, and then they mentioned to me that theyre having some issues with the audio and theyll need to keep the call overnight if possible!!! and I can pick it up the next day (Sunday). So I had no choice but to agree to that...Here come Sunday, and they called me telling me that the call is done! so I went to pick it up and it looked fine at first, then I started driving back home, then it was getting really cold inside and the windows started to fog up (and it was 42 degrees outside) so I tried to turn the heat on when I realized that all the buttons for the heater are no longer working!!! I went back to the store to get some explanation for this, and the first thing the technician that worked on the car told me is that the car was like that when I brought it in!!!! I asked him why he did not mention this to me before or note this down, and he said that he did note that down, so I asked him to show me where (cause the paper that I signed did not have any notes on it) then he went into the store and asked the girl working behind the register to hand him the paper that he had the note on and they started pretending to look for that paper then the girl found it!! and it was an empty receipt without any initials or signatures, just a single line that says HVAC on driver side is tight or something like that!! (even though both the driver and passenger sides were not working after I picked up the car)... So apparently they both had an agreement on pulling this scam if I came back...Now their assistant Manger is a very nice guy, and he spoke to me afterwards and assured me that he wants to make this up to me, but at this point I no longer trust these guys doing anything to my car (which I do all maintenance at the dealer) He asked me to come back next Saturday December -14 to speak to the store manager (who was on vacation this whole time)...I also realized that the main feature that I bought the stereo for is not working (Android Auto) due to the stereo being installed incorrectly (according to the manual)...!!!
They did an amazing job on the truck, it was so lovely when they finished detailing it... and quickly too. They did such a good job Im taking my own baby in for detailing and a remote start...

Found the Cartoys store in Issaquah to be a pleasant experience. Came in to buy a new sub and possibly a new amp. At first everything that I had researched and went to buy they were out of stock on but it was Memorial Day weekend. The sales crew and Ryan the manager kept working with me for about 2 hours trying to get me something that I would like and better than the products I originally came in for. After it was all said and done I ended up finding products from the same manufacture that I was looking for and got better products than originally planned on buying for a better price. Thank you to all who helped me and thank you for knowing the quality I expected and not trying to get me into something that was not quality. Will be back again.
I took my wifes Suburban into the Issaquah Car Toys to install new speakers and a subwoofer as a Mothers Day present. While the sales process was generally ok - the installation was done poorly. After the speaker installation one of the vehicles rear door locks wouldnt consistently unlock. We took the vehicle into the dealer to investigate, and they found that door panel not installed properly and inside glass seal folded under door panel. […] 3 broken door panel retainers. After paying $375 for investigation and repair, I contacted the store manager and explained the situation. I asked that Car Toys cover the cost of repair. The manager explained politely that he would have to escalate the situation to regional management and would get back to me. I emailed in copies of receipts. A month later, after not hearing back from anyone, I emailed in to follow-up, and again did not hear back. Another month has passed since then and still no word.I am extremely disappointed in the lack of follow up from the store, and extremely disappointed in the quality of the installation performed on our vehicle. We will not patronize this store again.

My install did not disappoint!!! So happy with my new sound!!! They were even able to add onto my factory head unit which I was worried about losing my navigation, but no worries here. There is just better ways to get car audio dont fall for these guys its all a scam.
Id give more stars if I could! Ben, Ryan and all these guys know their stuff. They opened the store back up when I arrived at closing time, went over every option for DVD monitor/systems with me, let me choose what I thought worked best for our family and did a great (squeezed me in) install. After I paid the bill there was a final question about whether to hard wire the system at a later time...but instead they did all the work right then and there in time for our road trip. It works great! I just called the store to cover the payment for the additional time and they told me it was just the technicians taking good care of me. So professional, so kind and Im so grateful :)
I come to the Issaquah Washington car toys regularly, to get my Intoxalock ignition interlock device serviced. The employees have always been very helpful, they work efficiently to keep customers moving throughout the store. I see a high volume of customers every time Im in here.

They want you to wear a mask but dont provide you with one, and they dont have it posted on the front door that you have to wear one.

Have had three vehicles there over the last few years and all with above grade, even this vehicle. Which two years ago all new stereo, ect now speaker blew fine lets repair it, all four speaker $1,399.00 which included $300.00 in total labor, go back day later, talk to new guy, yep too much they had all new wire and stuff I didnt need since they installed all new, now just two speakers, $800, including....wait for it $300.00 total labor. When I call it out expecting a simple error I get the run around. Bottom line in cartoys world 1/2 the work is still $300. In labor. Too bad, its all about the scam, the short fast money. I have done three cars and will never do another there, so how much is your integrity worth? National company generally good just not this one......ever.
From the second I walked in yesterday June 27th. Something was just off. Skinny brown haired girl came around the counter after she and another guy(looked like another employee) we’re done in what I’d call overly flirtatious exchanges. After telling her what I needed she didn’t seem to understand what it was I was trying to accomplish. She ran and got help. By then a (Manager?) I think maybe Hawaiian came out of the office for a few seconds then went back inside after asking me if I’d been helped. Girl came back with guy she had been flirting with at the counter. We spoke about some of my wants and he went over a few things and ideas. Girl was fidgety and twitching the whole time. Seemed maybe she had a little too many pills or something. Or maybe just too many Redbulls? Anyways, made me extremely uncomfortable and I ended up just saying “I’d think about it”Note to Car ToysKeep the staff professional and clean from uppers. Living and working in the area I’d like to have my boat and two vehicles worked on close by. Address the non-professional behavior of the staff and offer that girl help if she needs it. Maybe I’ll be back and give it a second go. Just work with a Manager this time
Our car was recently stolen, and in an attempt to make a profit the thieves tried to steal the backup camera. We came in to get it fixed or replaced and had a great experience, but thats not why Im writing.The next day, after we really had a good chance to test the backup camera we realized that the angle of the new camera was quite a bit different than we were used to. Because of the shape of the bumper (Nissan Jukes have the weirdest body shapes), the camera pointed far enough down that I couldnt see possible oncoming traffic at a safe distance.A quick call later Ben insisted that I bring it back so that he could adjust the angle of the camera. Some beautiful engineering and a short amount of time later and I couldnt possibly be happier with the outcome and experience.
I came in with a 2000 Eddie Bauer explorer, I was trying to find the mounting brackets. buy stereo that I got with the car kept falling out of the console while I was driving.I ended up waiting about 30 minutes while they help the customers in front of me, but then technician came out took one look at my car and said: I know exactly what you need, you have the wrong mounting brackets.$20 later, and one confused phone call Vine me because Im an idiot. And it was fixed. They even offered to install it for me while I waited, but since Im so stubborn I decided to do it myself. Hence the confused phone call.the staff was very polite, and while they were a bit behind due to how many customers there were, it was a pleasant experience

At 11 am appt this morning, truck wasnt see until 1:15pm. No call no update no warning. Satisfaction was guaranteed, I want my money back.
DO NOT take your car here for an interior detail... I bought the Groupon for $102, called in to schedule an appointment and asked that they please do the hot water extraction on my rear cargo area, as well. Even though the Groupon states that they clean that area too, they told me it would run me an extra $15... Since its a small amount of money, I just agreed to pay it. When I dropped it off, I reiterated what they were to do that day, including the rear cargo area.When I arrived to pick the car back up a few hours later, they hadnt touched that area. And, the Ozone treatment they give you is BS... Ive had it done in previous vehicles and the smell is VERY noticeable. I smelled nothing. In any case, I went back in to ask why the rear cargo area wasnt done and I was told we dont do that with this Groupon. I had to then argue with them about how I made the request and agreed to pay extra for it. After some back and forth, they offered to let me bring the vehicle back to have it done at no extra charge, which was a nice gesture, though a major inconvenience. I also asked about the Ozone and was assured it was done. Not sure I believe that. I also noticed the receipt they gave me totaled $65... But I paid $102 for the Groupon.On my drive home, I started to notice numerous areas they missed during their detail. There was dirt/gunk around my shifter, between my seats and the center console, above the steering wheel by the gauge cluster and in my little coin tray. All areas that anyone would expect to be detailed when they pay over $100 to have their interior cleaned. All I effectively got was a vacuum, maybe a little shampoo on the carpets, and a wipe down of interior panels. Theres a car wash in Rose Hill, Kirkland that does pretty much the exact same thing, less shampooing but plus washing and drying your exterior, for about $30...In any case, I brought the vehicle back on the day we agreed upon and a different guy was there. They shop manager and he was an abrupt, angry little dude. I explained why I was there and he told me we dont do that and we literally argued for about 5-10 minutes before he agreed to take care of it. He kept saying there was a misunderstanding but really just kept changing his argument... This, after I was told to bring my car back and it would be taken care of.What the hell has happened to customer service?? The customer isnt always right but, damn, take care of the people that pay for your services...I will never use CarToys for anything after this experience, especially detailing. Go literally anywhere else to get your car cleaned! And if you dont believe me, look at all of the other 1 star reviews preceding mine.
The manager at this place is really good. I drove all the way from Bellevue to here because Bellevue car toys is junk and filled with people of attitude and don’t answer simple questions directly, made me wait even though I had an appointment.
Not a good experience I wish I would of got names (the agm was one of them)I was not greeted or even acknowledge when my wife and I walked in made eye contact several times to just be ignoredThere were 3 people on the floor all focused on one guy and his BMW I felt a bit rude but I finally stood in the middle of the store and asked can I get some help or am I spending my money somewhere else. Mind you this was a store full of myself my wife and the one kid with the BMWI was amazed by how unprofessional this store is operatedLuckly for them they had what I wanted in stock and I knew what I was after or else no way I would of spent my money there.
