I haven’t even moved in yet and can already tell Capri is BY FAR the most hospitable leasing company I’ve been with throughout my 4 years in Isla Vista. Heather is flexible, kind, and diligent about responding to texts/emails. She’s always friendly and cares about how I’m doing as a resident and person. I feel comfortable talking to management staff and genuinely feel welcomed as a resident.

Really enjoyed my Summer here at Capri. The apartment was nice and having my own room was relaxing. The location is great, coop food market is right across the street where I did all my grocery shopping. Many great restaurants nearby as well, basically everything is walking distance.

I had a great experience staying here. Especially in IV, it’s hard to find property managers like Lluvia and Heather! They consistently do a great job keeping the complex clean and looking after the well-being of their tenants. Aaron is very nice and does a great job taking care of repairs when necessary. The price and location are hard to beat and I would recommend anybody looking for an apartment in IV to consider Capri!

Everything went very smoothly! Thanks to on site maintenance for securing single bedroom bracket locks quickly! The girl in the office was very nice even gave us water. Thanks so much.

Heather has always gone above and beyond her responsibilities to help in any way she can. Capris Apartments has proven to be a wonderful place to live -really appreciate the community feeling, prompt maintenance responses, and gated off street parking.

Pues I have never had problems with management. I am always happy to see their timely response to concerns and respect of my dogs fear of typically tall male presenting individuals! Thank you for making my time here worth spending another year with you all (:

Heather, the new manager, is incredible! As is everyone who works here. Maintenance is on it when it come to every little detail. They came by to fix everything right away, and theyre so sweet. They even fixed things we didn’t realize needed fixing! I love my new apartment and I got paired with an amazing roommate thanks to the roommate matching survey system. Already friends with my neighbors too. A hugeeee upgrade over all from my place last year (cough cough beach city, Santa Barbara). Thank you Capri for being so helpful and welcoming! Very excited to be living here

My favorite apartment right next to UCSB. Comfortable, clean, convenient, affordable and the managers here are nice. Super helpful staff when it comes to anything I need.

Amazing location a minutes walk to the beach & all the restaurants! Lluvia was so helpful to make move in quick & easy! Great value and comes with nice furniture! Everyone I have met here is really nice so theres a fun sense of community with the other residents here! Definitely my favorite apartment of my four years at UC Santa Barbara, 10/10!

Capri Apartments is definitely the best Isla Vista has to offer! It’s such a comfortable, affordable, and nice place to live and the office staff is the best! Lluvia and Veronica are the sweetest and so professional with how they run both locations. The handyman, Aaron, is a really nice guy and is very reliable. 10/10 would recommend Capri for anyone looking for housing in IV!

If i could give it a zero stars I would. First, if you are looking to live here, make sure you check which Capri apartments for which site you are leasing. We were unfamiliar with the area and when you google Capri apartments, only the one on Seville shows up. So we were surprised when we arrive and were in a completely different area. Later we learned the rooms are named either Seville or Abrego, but they dont tell you that. The staff was super responsive PRIOR to signing the lease. Once we signed the lease, things changed very much. The apartment was dirty when we moved in - they said it was cleaned and they said the roommate living there currently (only one living there in a space that hold 3) must have made it dirty - not true - the bathroom that was not his was dirty. They are SUPER SUPER slow in fixing things. Their excuse is ALWAYS it is back ordered. It took months to get lights replaced in a fan that was the only light in the bedroom - very dangerous and a tripping hazard at night. They said lights back ordered. These are lights you can easily purchase at home depot and when I called to complain - I told them this - and they said...yeah, they would get them at home depot - took another month! The mirror on the medicine cabinet was missing when we moved in and it literally took probably at least six months to replace - excuse...it is back ordered. This should have all been taken care of PRIOR to us taking possession of the apartment. The apartment was so filthy and there was hair all in the track of the mirror doors that the door fell of the track and broke. Work orders are not taken care of in a timely manner and have actually disappeared off our web page. Property managers not responsive. The water in the shower runs hot and cold - inconsistent. There has never been any events, bbqs or any of the events they claim they do. A number of tenants complain about the same thing. I would definitely look else where.

The staff was friendly and very helpful. The move in process went very smooth. When we had an issue it was addressed immediately. The only reason I rate this a 4 instead of a 5 is because the apartment was not cleaned prior to move in. The couch was old and battered and we had asked for a replacement but did not get one. Also, one of the bedroom screens was broken. That should have been fixed prior to move in. But overall, the process was great and the staff was very helpful and accommodating.

I didnt end up moving into the Capri apartments but my conversations with Lluvia were so helpful and kind I had to post a review about it! Super professional, sweet, and helpful. I felt welcomed and listened to (which hasnt exactly been my experience in IV with properties so far). Thank you Lluvia!

Clean, quiet, safe, friendly neighbors, helpful, efficient, and caring staff.People respect each other, it feels like a community. The facility is gated which makes you feel safe, when the rest of IV is going crazy. The gated parking alleviates any worries about car theft or vandalism, and gives you peace of mind. The staff and maintenance go above and beyond to be helpful and resolve any issues. The nature reserves nearby are great for study breaks and walks. Room and grounds were quiet and clean. Having full kitchen appliances is rare in IV, and was super helpful in cooking. There is a good amount of privacy, and it was easy to study at the desk in the room.

I am so grateful I found this place. I am going into my 3rd year living at Capri! The apartments are clean and fully furnished (dishwasher, especially, helps a lot), and the on-site maintenance is quick and easy via online maintenance requests. If I had to pick one of the many things I love about Capri, it would be the management. They are so helpful, respectful, and kind, and they have made living here for the past 2 years go by very smoothly. You won’t regret living here!

More like a 2.5. I dont live there. I just have seen how the apartments are laid out and the overall condition. My son seems okay there. Still, it seems like some deferred mtc. needs to be addressed. The office staff is generally helpful and responsive.

There is new management that has been hired at Capri Apartments and they could not be more helpful. Great people to work with, accommodating to any reasonable needs, and friendly. Capri IV itself is mostly clean, a little more quiet for its location, and a good price. Congrats to the new management for doing a fantastic job.

I lived at this complex for two years and it was amazing! the management is incredible and so helpful in every aspect! from the on-site parking and laundry, to the quality of the apartment itself, everything about Capri is awesome! would highly recommend these apartments, they are perfect for students and/or adults of any age :)

There have been drastic notices to the change in management. Improvements have been made to every aspect of living I can possibly even think of. The manager and maintenance go above and beyond to making your living situation as comfortable as possible for you. Hands down they are some of the nicest people I have ever met! Hannahs also been a major assistance to the big improvements made here at Capri; doesnt hurt to have a cute and easy going assistant manager you can always count on!

For the couple of months I lived at Capri Apartments I loved it! the apartments were clean, a good size, and the new management is really great and helpful and truly cares about the residents. The neighbors and atmosphere was extremely friendly and comfortable. I think Capri apartments in Isla Vista Is a great place to live.

My daughter lives here and we love it. We have had very good experiences with the new management that just took over in January. They are so kind and always there. As a parent living away from my child it feels good to know that other people are there, they go above and beyond for the students who live there!

I lived at Capri on Seville for 2 years. I highly recommend NOT living here. First of all, my room flooded. In the middle of the night out of no where I woke up to water all over my floor and it ruined a lot of my things. I moved on from it and didnt complain much and my apartment flooded AGAIN a few months later. When I left Capri you would think as a loyal tenant that stayed after the flooding I would get at least my deposit back but out of a $690 deposit I only got $90 back... I even asked for some money for my damaged goods from the flood and got nothing back. Also the management picks favorites and if youre not one of them you will probably have a miserable time living there. There are no living rooms and living in the slider isnt even worth it because you have no privacy at all. This place is a rip off and they just want your money. There are many more great places in isla vista to live trust me!

Despite all the drama that has happened in the past this place, the new management is 1000 times better! After the old management made a terrible name for this place Nakomi and Manny have stepped in and have began to make some changes. These guys actually care and have began making an effort to make the stay as best as possible. I have became pretty personal with them and the plans they have for the future seem great. Really recommend these apartments!!

Management is very nice, friendly and helpful! When things need to be fixed they get fixed as soon as possible. Maintainence does a very good job making sure things are working well! Absolutely love living at the Capri Apartments!

Capri IV is a great place to live. The manager is super awesome and so helpful. There are many great benefits to living here. I am very pleased with the choice I made when I chose Capri IV.

I felt constantly at war with the Management. Although the management has improved, I would be critical of any interaction with Capri Apartments. Do not move to Capri Apartments in Isla Vista.Many of the five star ratings below were rated by part of the management team.

Im very happy at Capri IV. If youre ok with the price, and the size of the units, then youll be happy living here. The property manager really cares about the us -- during dead week she cooked us all full breakfasts!!! The maintenance is always done quickly; we never have to wait around to have something fixed. The appliances and all the furniture are really comfortable.

I have lived here for 3 months and I really enjoyed my time here! The management is really nice and helpful! I recommend Capri Apartments to everyone who is looking for an apartment in Isla Vista!

I love living at Capri. The seville location is ideal, located in the center of isla vista. The units are fully furnished and modern with hard wood floors and awesome appliances (including a dishwasher). The best part about these apartments, though, is the friendly on site staff. Nicomi and Manny are like family to me, and all the employees are helpful and genuine. Youre gonna love it here.

I would avoid doing business with Capri at all costs. You will be charged fees not listed in your lease agreement. They will be as difficult as possible if you try asking about these fees (not responding to emails, not giving you copies of documents youre entitled to, etc). I was a subleaser at Capri and I inherited fees from the previous tenant. The way they conduct business and try to take advantage of students is just outright awful.

Management is friendly, quiet atmosphere that is great for studying, clean environment and safe parking for bikes and cars!

Isabel you seem like the kind of person that cannot not be satisfied buy anything or anyone judging from your other reviews of other apartments that you say the same stuff about. maybe the problem is you or is everybody else crazy.

This is a review for roughly 1 year ago which is when I was a resident at Capri - Abrego. Though the management did seem to improve there were a couple things that really stuck with me. The extra star is really for the effort made to improve though think of it more as 1.5 stars. I would also like to add that residences at the time were incentivized to leave a review through an point-reward system through Capri.At my time of residence one of my roommates had left early for the summer, with the assumption that he had ended his lease. My remaining roommate and I had told the management that we were would be out of the apartments for 13 days for the summer and would be back. This information was relayed because they were asking if they could paint the houses so they could get a head start for the people that would move in next. It was not required of us to comply, however we did state that they could come in and paint designated parts of the house. Once we came back from our trip however, every single piece of kitchenware, cleaning products, towels and other bathroom/kitchen equipment, decorations, our shoes were literally tossed in the middle of our room. Our stuff was lying all around our room in no particular order of objects ranging from picture frames to stools. Many of them had paint splatters that we could not get off at that point.We also had a new roommate who had already moved in, which really wasnt a big issue, just a surprise. The problem is that no information was conveyed by Capri what-so-ever. When confronted, that they did not let us know, they stated, and I quote in exact word for word, Yea we did, And that was the only response. With the best of our memories, us meaning the two people still remaining in the apartment, do not remember or recall any sort of notification both formal or informal about having a new roommate move in 2 months before our lease had ended. We were also told the only things that would be moved during the painting process would be the tables that were up against the walls, and that everything would be put back. Essentially there was a violation of both trust and decency by Capri.I write this review because I honestly believe that the current reviews are not an accurate review of Capri, or at least one year ago. And I am extremely confident that I can find a handful of previous residence that would agree.On a side note, the maintenance requests were always completed in a timely fashion.

Do not live here! or talk to management!! they will lie and send you collections without you ever knowing!! i have never lived or planned on living here, and i just found out (because of an application to another apartment complex) that i owe capri apartments 700$!! while i have never lived there!! management is completely useless and refused to help! worst apartment management ever!! run away and do not, i repeat, do not live here!!!!!!!!!!!
