Sam was my representative. He was very fast in responding and helpful. Cargo arrived in good condition. Shipment was only delayed two days from initial estimates but this was because of customs. There was a $45 dollar messenger fee that I was not expecting, but everything else was as I thought. They made my shipment painless to receive, I will be using them in the future.
I am still thinking how to accurately describe the horrible experience doing business with Lavinstar America Inc.Reading the previous reviews-all poor-are the same as mine. I found the customer service to be a bother to all 3 people I had the misfortune to deal with. I was given wrong information-hit with unexpected fees-and when I reach for help was told they do not have time to fix the problems they created. This company does not deserve a one star rating. Or any more of my time.
Poor company bad communication they never answer. Bad service and rude staff.Too many hidden fees. They lost my shipment after 3 month running after them I had to pay many money for chargesI advise everyone not to deal with them.
I used this company for freight forwarding from China and it was the worst experience ever. The rep said that they take care of customs clearance and then the shipment arrived and they hadnt filed any documents so I got hit with a bunch of penalties. Wish I had seen all the other negative reviews before booking with them. Stay away!

The worst shipping company that I have ever come in contact with. I will advise that no one do business with this company. Poor customer service. The staffs here are very unprofessional and careless about the customer. They are very deceptive and are not willing to help the customer. My experience with this company is horrible.Bad company bad people with no respect for their customers. They think they are doing you a favor. My shipment have been with them for sometime now and they unable to tell me when I will receive my order. This company have rude and mad employees who dont know how to approach customer.
This is people are scam please. I was charged a release fee which I paid for my shipment before it was released. Getting to the warehouse where I want to pick up my package I was told to pay an additional collective fee which I questioned. I was told that Lavensta America also told the warehouse to charge that additional fee which also goes to them. The warehouse specifically told me that Lavensta is a scam and they do not have good work ethics.
They are by far the worst company ever. Very rude and almost impossible to understand. They overcharge your and hold your shipment hostage. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. Anthony was the person I dealt with and he is the worst ever. Stay far far away. They will ignore your phone calls too

Wish I could give 0 stars. The worst shipping company ever. They will overcharge you. The charges were triple the amount of the goods we purchased. Guys do not trust this company. Stay away!!
Very unprofessional. The worst forwarder on my experience who processed my shipment. Other forwarders will take only a week and they holding my shipment without status progress for almost a month. They keep sending me Arrival Notice like more than 5 times that I have already paid.They dont answer email, hard to communicate via phone.

Import department does not answer and when you hit the option it hangs up, they do not send the freight release on time. Need to close this office.
