I was proud to support a small local business such as Sweden’s Pool Repair until I was taken advantage of. I had a water leak in the motor a few months ago and I called to ask to check it out. Knowing I bought a house from irresponsible renters a year ago, I figured I would buy a new motor. When they came to my home they went straight to the motor and began working on it without discussing with me first the problem and possible solutions. I went to meet up with them and they just immediately began saying it’s a simple leak and they know what it is and they were fixing it. I took their word and let them be. A few hours after completing the work it began making the loudest screeching noise. They came back out and said the issue was something else worked on it and left. The next day I noticed it was leaking worse than before and still screeching loudly so then they finally came out and said I needed a new motor. They charged me 3 times a total of $698.70. They quoted me a brand new motor would have been $550 no labor. I had to settle for a rebuilt motor and they still charged an additional $80-$90 Jeff could not tell me where it came from. Said the owner would call me two days later to explain and never did. I also never received a receipt for the 2nd and 3rd charge. I just wished they would have talked to me first and I would have asked them for a brand new motor since the beginning.

I had this company come out and fix my pool and in less than a year I have more leaks I spoke with them and they would not come out and fix those leaks.Apparently they only warrantee their work for 30 days and this other company I’m working with they do it for two years. I spent a lot of money which was money from my husband‘s life insurance because he recently passed away and I feel like I was taken advantage of and not taken care of. I don’t know a lot about pools because my husband took care of our pool. I do not recommend them at all thanks Johnny for your hard work… Not!!!!

Family business, so glad to live in south Irving. These guys will assist and advise you in the care and upkeep of your pool. Im 3 years into my home and my pool is awesome because Swiedens doesnt hold back to try and get business through deception.
