I dropped off boots on 1/18/2021 and was told boots would be ready the following Friday 1/22/2021. I called on Saturday 1/23/2021 and was tld the boots were not ready. So I waited until the following Friday, 1/29/2021 to pick up the boots and I was told they were not there and to come back on Sunday, 1/31/2021. I went back on Sunday, 129/2021.and was told the boots were not there. The attendant advised for sure they would be ready on Tuesday, 2/2/2021. I returned on Tuesday and The attendant advised they were still not ready. And told me she was sorry. By this time I am wondering if I am going to get my boots back.My husband finally had a few words with the attendant. And by 7:00 Pm on Tuesday 2/2/2021 I received a phone call the boots were there at the shop for two days.I picked up the boots on Wednesday, 2/3/2021. After inspecting the boots which looked like good worksmanship. Although the taps that I had asked for and paid for was not done. The lady gave me a discount of $3 for our efforts to drive in several times to pick up the boots and knocked off $4 for the taps that I paid $8 for. I gave up. I was not going to argue. So I decided to warn other to be customers how unprofessional this shop is.

After picking up my boots from having the soles fixed, there were 3 scratches from something sharp on the nose of the right boot. One scratch that was deeper was close to an inch long.I recommend to anyone going here for repairs to put protective tape on the nose of boots & shoes before bringing them here. They earned a 1 Star rating because of this carelessness. (otherwise would have been 5)I paid the full amount - but I should have asked to receive a discounted price for this damage.3/11/2020

I dropped my Luchese boots for a simple shine, which I do every couple of months at a different place. The lady told me she would clean them up and polish. When I picked it up, they looked terrible! Parts of the finish appeared to have been sanded off completely and there were white water lines, like they had been soaked in water. My jaw dropped and I asked her what had happened to my boots!? She tried to tell me they were already like that when I brought them in! When I called her on it and said that was absurd, she tried to tell me the other place I took it to before must have done something wrong to the boots! They ruined a $600 pair of boots that my kids gave me for my birthday! After frantically trying to cover up the damage with dark shoe polish while I watched, the best she could do was discount $8 from the $15 dollar charge. Im sickened! Not only did they ruin my boots, they took no accountability, tried to accuse me of bringing them in that way and then blamed the other innocent business!

This place is top notch. Dont waste your time and money on the competitor in downtown Irving. The only reason that rude place is still in business is because of the guaranteed exposure in that part of town. Not by reputation.

Did an amazing job on my dress boots. Changed out the soles and heels and polished them up. Worth the price to make my expensive boots look like new. Much cheaper than buying new boots.

Awesome experience every time. The worker is so nice and courteous. They have a wide range of boots, hats and clothes. I get my boots repaired here all the time. I just took a pair to get done and they did an excellent job. They reconstructed the heel base and put a new heel on them.

I went in to get a pair of boots restored 10 days before Fathers Day as a gift for my dad. I asked if they would be ready prior to Fathers day and the lady reassured me they would be done next week. Two days before Fathers day I called the store and asked about the boots and the same lady, without knowing who I was was, stated Yes, theyll be here tomorrow, come by anytime. So I come in the next day, the 15th, and the lady tells me the boots are not there and to come by tomorrow. I was a little disappointed because she misled me to believe they were ready. She calls me that same night and states The boots are ready but the store is now closed, come by tomorrow. I go up to the store on Fathers day and the store is closed with no one to answer phones - I was pretty upset by this. On Monday I called the store when I got off work and the lady stated Were open for 30 more minutes, come by tomorrow. I work down the street and told her Ill be there in 3 minutes. She said ok. I get to the store and it was closed with the lights turned out, she sent me a text message stating Store closes at 7:30, open again tomorrow. I was getting very annoyed.I went to pickup the boots today and the lady was not welcoming when I came in. She handed me the boots but I noticed 2 tears in the side of the boots - I was having them re-soled and conditioned. I pointed out the tears and she said No, we didnt do that, we just conditioned. I have pictures showing the condition of the boots prior to having them worked on and there are NO tears in the leather.Ive never experienced such poor customer service. I would recommend everyone go somewhere else for any restoration needs.
