I am writing this review after picking up a pc that was damaged and brought in for repair. Both my interactions (dropping off and picking up ) have been with Mr. Marcos who was rude and condescending at both visits. He is not one that is eager to help and makes you feel as if he is doing you a favor by making eye contact with you. Long story short, apparently my repair (which cost almost $300) was completed almost 3 weeks ago. But was not communicated this to me. Mr Marcos informed me an email was sent that my pc had been shipped. I found the email, but when you click the link, it says order not found . When I pointed this out, Mr. Marcos response was apathetic. No one called, followed up, nothing. As I am writing this review sitting in my car outside the Best Buy, I just received an email stating my PC is ready for pickup ...a full 5 WEEKS after I bought it in for repair. I understand things happen, but my customer service experience has been terrible here. Such rude behavior will make me consider other repair facilities in the future.

Geek Squad is a joke and best buy outsources everything online and through phone out of the US. Cheaper for them. During Covid, no store will fix my broken screen and it takes hours to finally speak to a Philippine geek squad to tell me my only option is to buy another for 200$. Then they cant cancel my protection plan. Guess it isnt apart of their script.

The Geek Squad At this Irving, Texas location is the best Ive encountered. They are personable, efficient and get the job done right the first time. They listen to your issues and genuinely care about helping you out. They never make you feel like they know more than you do.

Geek Squad employee made me wait 30 minutes just to tell me that he didnt have what was required to fix my device. Poor customer service and awareness of the other people in line including myself.

I brought my iPhone in to see if Geek squad could fix the charging port that isnt working. The friendly clerk proceeds to write me up for a replacement iPhone for the low price of $149.00. I said, I have insurance through Geek Squad to which he replied yeah but we consider this damage so you have to pay 149.00. for the deductible.I said, umm, no.Im thinking they could just put a new charging port in but noooo. I need a new phone.So, I Googled iPhone charging port repair and a video pops up from YouTube telling me to clean the lint out of my charging port. I picked up a toothpick, pried the lint out and the problem is solved. Duuuuuuuuuh, Geek squad, thanks for wasting my time.
