His staff and office have always handled my payments policy questions and changes with a positive and professional manner. Margie goes above and beyond to help me in any way she can. Thank you

Last night I went to the State Farm website to obtain a auto insurance quote. I was provided a great quote and it advised that I would have to have the agent complete the transaction. I called and Larry answered advising me that Brenda in their office would be calling me to complete the transaction. She called and asked me the same questions that I had completed online beforehand. She then asked me about my previous insurance in which I advised that was through Dairyland for SR22 only!! She rudely and impatiently told me We dont do SR22s!! She didnt give me a chance to advise her that I only use Dairyland for the SR22, and wanted SF for the primary insurance. Complete subpar customer service skills. I then called back and asked to speak with Larry only to be told that he couldnt come to phone and would have to call me back. Wow is all I can say!!

I have been dealing with Larry Dodson and his staff for over 20 years. Mr. Dodson and his staff are always responsive to my phone calls or emails. He is able to explain the complex details of the insurance business very well. I have had my auto and home insurance with him during all of these years. They have assisted me with home and auto claims. It is great having someone like Mr. Dodson helping me through the complex realm of insurance.

Weve been patrons of this branch for almost 20 years and have never had a bad experience with them. We have had the normal Texas wear and tear on our home, but we have also had a few incidents with raccoons and other wildlife destroying our attic and the A/C ductwork, all of that was covered. We also compiled home and auto when that became a thing, which helped as well. Overall, customer service wise, Larrys team does a great job.

I had state farm insurance growing up on my parents insurance and I always loved them... until I moved to this branch. I got my own car and from the get go Ive been dealt a bad hand. I didnt know anything about getting insurance as i had always been on my parents plan. So they said I would need to start a brand new policy... sense state farm had always been good to my parents in Oklahoma I believed this one in Irving. I had no reason not to take their word. I found out later that wasnt true... it was just a way for them to make more money off me. They could have split me off my parents plan and let me keep my driving history with them but making it new meant they could charge me more sense I didnt have my 5+ years of safe driving history anymore. They insisted I set up auto payment and that went well for the first year or so. After that everything went down hill... half the time the auto pay wouldnt work for whatever reason and they wouldnt let us know until we owed over a months payment. They kept adding my husband to my car when he didnt have a car licence only a motorcycle one then said we owed for backpayments for him on the car.... I spent I dont know how much time on the phone with these people trying to get everything sorted out and never really could. Wed get it figured out or so I thought only to turn around and do it all over again. Set up auto payment plan; pay outrages costs because their system kicked us from the auto pay then try again. Itd work for a month or two then fail again. I finally gave up when they called to tell us they canceled our policy because the auto pay stopped working again. We never shut it off. And they never bothered to let us know. They claim they sent us letters but we never received them. They never called to ask about payment anything until theyd already cancled our policy(their reason for not calling before canceling our policy? The agent I spoke with had been on vacation... And the other one just did bother.) Said it wasnt their fault we didnt get their notices nor their fault their system kept kicking us from the auto pay. Weve moved to another insurance company now and are paying 100$ less for the exact same policy we had here. Its just not worth the hassle or the money to stick with a company just because Ive had them for over 10+ years....statefarm can be great. I just wouldnt go with THIS branch.
