We have used A1 for many years. The service is outstanding. They call before arrival, arrive on time and the staff is professional and friendly. The company is honest and the work is guaranteed.
We own an assisted living facility, we called them at 9am didn’t show up until 11:30pm. We called the dispatch literally 7+ times we told them we had residents and the importance of getting someone out ASAP. They finally show up at 11:30pm and totally over charge us knowing that we have no choice but to accept their high pricing. I will never use them again!! I felt totally taken advantage of.
We called A-1 and the very next morning Nate came out . He throughly check my a/c units give me a quote to fix it . I had an system still running R22 which is a pain in the neck . I wanted to switch over and he told me hed have a salesman man out to me later that day. Matt from sales showed up promptly at 5 pm he gave a quote . He really went above and beyond to get me a great price and right system for my home . He was very straightforward and trustworthy. He did the extra leg work to check and make sure there would be no problem. The very next morning Dave the Installation technician and crew was here to install my brand new a/c. Dave was fast and efficient . They worked hard,cleaned up and was gone by 3pm. I had cool air and no more worries. So a big thank too Nate, Dave and his crew and especially Matt who even on his off day helped me, with something else I wanted to get install !! I will definitely use A-1 again.
I can’t begin to explain how helpful Brad and A1 were, but I’ll try to keep this short. Essentially, they CORRECTLY diagnosed an issue that had been incorrectly diagnosed by 3 different AC companies, including the person who did the initial install. And not to mention, they did this THE SAME DAY I CALLED! To boot, they had the lowest price of anyone I called. Nothing beats experience, and you can tell in 1 phone conversation that is what these guys have. Plain and simple.I have now found my go to AC/Heat company - after trying several companies, this is a huge huge relief.
I called them to set-up an appointment and they never showed up. My appointment was for after 1pm. Here it is 6:30 pm and no show. Not even a call to let me know the technicians status. Basically means they werent going to show until tomorrow, maybe! Very disappointed in these guys. Called a less reputable company and they are taking care of me with on-time service.
Brad and his team were amazing! They serviced our unit at a affordable price and we were up and running in a day!
These guys were amazing from start to finish. They answered the phone, they called to confirm, they showed up exactly when they said they would, and they did a perfect job getting us up going fast. Taylor, Dave, Herlin made this the best service experience I have ever had.
Actually showed up when they said they would and quickly resolved my problem for only around $150.00. I have used a LOT of AC companies due to a troublesome unit and they were by far the best to work with. Lastly, I’m 99.9% the repairman fixed my front door that hadn’t closed properly for months when he was outside bc it suddenly worked perfectly after he left. What a nice guy! Highly recommend.

I would not recommend this company. I called yesterday and let them know i needed an entire unit and all new duct work i was called around 10pm and was told someone would call the next day for the appointment . They called early and scheduled I advised it had to be before 2 i was called 4 times by 4 different people reassuring me someone would be here. I waited hours finally i called them and they told me i might need to call another company because they cant get out to me by 2 after i sat here for hours and was assured someone would be here, Their customer service sucks.
Brad and his crews are some of the best air conditioning people Ive ever worked with I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anybody hell get the work done he wont overcharge you and itll be done correctly.
We have used these guys for many years and recommended them to our friends. They always manage to get a repair person to your house even when it is the hottest day of the year.They know their stuff and are reasonably priced. I cant say enough good about them.

NOT to be confused with the mega giant chain a/c company a#1 air ...The original A-1 air conditioning and heating provides consistently excellent and honest service. I highly recommend them to everyone.
Brad came over at 8:30pm on December 22nd on a cold rainy night to fix my 97 year old grandmothers heater. He could have easily said he could be out first thing in the morning but he came right away. He has all of our hvac business for life.
Starting about a month ago during all those rains we had some AC problems. Specifically there was water leaking from the bottom of the AC unit and into the hallway.Three weeks ago, while I was in Chicago, Karrie called me to let me know it was getting worse. I called up A#1 Air, We had used them before and previously we had great service from them... Unfortunately the soonest they could get a technician out was supposedly today (can you see where the story is going?) I scheduled a service call for between 4 and 7 today. In the mean time Karrie was changing out a towel in front of the AC unit every day which was soaking up condesation water.The day of the appointment they called me and said that there were some other people who had AC problems and asked if I could reschedule. I asked them how soon (figuring it might be tomorrow or something) and they tell me the earliest they could reschedule would be the 19th. I told them if the AC was broken another week my wife would stop cooking me dinner and that was simply unacceptable. Especially since I had already been waiting three weeks.I took off from work early to make sure I was home before 4pm...And I waited....I call them at 6:30 and the dispatcher tells me they dont even have a technician assigned to my call yet. He tells me he will get right on it and call me back when someone is scheduled.And I waited....At 9:15 I call back, the dispatcher tells me they have someone assigned, but hadnt called me. Then also tells me it will be hours before someone can make it out. I ask him how it was I made an appointment three weeks ago and they still couldnt make sure someone actually made it out on time.. He had no answer for that. He said it was deprioritized because it was just a maintenance call even though when I made the appointment I specifically stated how there was water in my hallway from the AC. He said he could reschedule me for tomorrow afternoon, I asked him what assurance I would have that the same thing wouldnt happen again tomorrow? He had no solid answer for that.At that point, and probably not my most prudent decision considering I dont have an alternative lined up yet, I cancelled the appointment.So I guess thats one less AC Service provider, anybody have a good recommendation for someone? CHances are I have a leaky drip tray under the coils that will need replacing plus normal yearly AC maintenance. The follow up business A#1 missed out on was that Im pretty such I also need some additional insulation in my attic and a good vent and duct cleaning.
