Wow, I am a believer now, my unit went out over the weekend, so I start calling all those 24 hour service company at 6 am, no body answer, I call Air Guy before they open, Tim answer the phone said he will be at my place in 30 Min. on TIME, he check it out told the same thing my good buddy told me. out side unit coils are bad. he sent Johnny out with partsthis guy made it look so EZ. in 3 hour I was cooling down. there was no up sale, Johnny was very knowledgeable and professional. oh the other guys started calling me back at 9:30, after Air Guy has been paid

Really happy I called these folks. Johnny was super helpful and explained a lot about how my air conditioning system worked, so now I feel more educated about the maintenance and how it operates. Everything was done efficiently, and Johnny was friendly and professional. I will definitely use them again for yearly maintenance and/or if I ever run into a problem with the system, and would highly recommend them to others.

My elder mothers heater was non-functional for some time now, I live out of state and advised her to call around and get someone to come out and fix it. Of course she had A friend of a friend of a neighbor who claimed to be a licensed heating/ac repair technician. He took it apart and did not know how to put it back together. I finally steeped in and and did my research and found The Air Guy. All the reviews were AMAZING. Tim responded quickly and professionally but also very personable... and this was over the phone. My concerns were immediately put at ease and I knew without a doubt that Tim was going to get the repair done quickly and with reasonable honest fees. My mothers heater was up and working in just a few days ( a part was ordered) My mother had nothing but wonderful things to say about Tim and the other gentleman that was also present. I was able to pay over the phone with a credit card and even paid a small amount more for him to come check the unit in the summer and fall. Thank you a Million times over for making this very very very easy and painless!!! I HIGHLY recommend The Air Guy!!!

Great customer service! Tim is very responsive, reliable, and patient. He takes the time to provide explanations and ensure customer satisfaction. I’ve used his services twice-once for a furnace tune-up and another time for a package unit change-out. He was able to fit me on the schedule quickly both times, he confirms appointments, and accepts payment by credit card. Even though there was a misunderstanding about what was included in the change-out, he and Johnny came back twice after project completion to make sure I was happy with the work. I would definitely use his services again!

Absolutely incompetent technician.Just get a second opinion.Called previous day for leak in evaporator coil, No refrigerant in system.I had diagnosed it myself. I used to work on these systems, there are several articles and videos how to check this online. Asked for an estimate.XXXsends some technician for estimate, I could not be home but a family member was. The technician checks outside unit(condenser and blower are outside) does not even check the inside unit, thats were the evaporator coil is. Quotes a 817 $ replacement for non related items;break up is like this: $249 run capacitor(retail is $24) in case like this run capacitor is not even required, both condenser and blower are running. Freon for $375 (retails for $245 online and that cylinder is twice our system capacity ! so really $123) On top of it charges $70 service call.So he is suggesting we put more freon on a leaking system and does not even bother to quote us for the part we actually called for !!!!!!All in all not so good experience.Update : Management called we are working to a mutual resolution.

There is no question why The Air Guy has a 5-star rating. I have been a customer of a big guy company for years. I read many positive reviews and decided to give The Air Guy a try. Johnny was prompt, so prompt I wasnt ready for him! He asked me questions and diagnosed the problem and had the issue resolved in no time. The down-to-earth personality made me feel valued as a customer as if I, the person, mattered as well and not like I was just more revenue for the company. Im embarrassed to admit I thought this was going to be another awkward transaction with a stranger in my home. It was the opposite. It felt like a longtime friend coming to visit.Bye-Bye big guy. Very responsive and great service.Tim came right over (on a Saturday) and quickly figured out the issue. He fixed it but also made a recommendation to add another return and wasnt pushy about it. I definitely recommend this company and will call them again of something goes wrong.

This kind man made our lives better. We were without air conditioning for 6 weeks! At the start of summer!He worked with me moneywise. Such a caring person. He was fast, in and out. God bless him. I highly recommended by me.

Our back bedroom was not as cold as the rest of our house. Other companies claimed lack of freon. Unfortunately, it was not fixing the problem. When Tim arrived, he discussed lack of air flow to the room. He added an extra intake vent in the den and adjusted the air flow through our plenum box. When he was done the problem was fixed. The room received incredible air flow without the expense of losing air flow in the rest of the house. You will not find a more honest, knowledgeable and fair technician. Our AC quit the night before, called them at 8:00pm and Johnnie said hed be out by 10 or 11:00 the next morning. To my surprise hes here at 9:00AM. Johnnie was VERY informative, courteous and professional and most of all, HONEST! Got AC going in no time,without the up selling and BS. Highly Recommend!

What can I say about the air guy????? A whole lot but Ill keep it brief... They are honest and fair AC people no BS, he is upfront about his pricing and believes in the quality of his work and will not nickle and dime you. Doesnt send nonsense silly sales people he just gets to the heart of the matter.They did my attic fan, attic tent and insulation and did a fantastic job on all three.HIRE THESE GUYS!

Had been working with Air Guy on 3 separate occasions specifically with Johnny without any complaints. He’s no longer with Air Guy, and upon having my AC go out again, they refused to come out and do a warranty checkup, regardless of my tenure as a customer and buying their products. Unprofessionally dealt with, and left me with zero reason to come work with them again. Rarely post reviews, but don’t want others to face similar issues when paying large amounts of money only to be treated like a stranger. Very difficult for them to find any documents of the services they’ve rendered to me. 2 thumbs way down.

Tim came out and did our attic insulation - he was fast, knowledgeable, and did a great job. Hes not cheap - but as a rule - you get what you pay for and we are truly satisfied.

Our AC wasnt working, Tim came to diagnose it and said it needed to be replaced or repaired. we spent 2500 to replace the whole unit, which seemed pretty descent based on what i have found in google. He provided us with a window unit for the night while we were waiting for it to get fixed, which was very helpful since it was getting close to 95 degrees inside. Once AC was fixed, he told us that something called TXV wasnt metering refrigerant ( Im completely ignorant on this subject) which is what caused our compressor to die. SO all in all i spent close to 3000. However i think that was a descent price for the job. He gave us 10 year warranty on the unit and a one year maintenance warranty for which he will be back in fall to check out.Tim had to make a total of 4 trip to our home and work outside in this heat. He was very helpful .Tim was also timely and came to diagnose the same day, within hours which was impressive.Customer service was top notch and i feel like i got my moneys worth.highly recommend.

Tim and his team were great. While my home warranty company gave me the run-around for months, Tim gave us an honest and fair assessment of our system and our options. I asked him to come out as a third-opinion and he ultimately became our go to contractor for replacing our system. Replacing the AC unit is always a significant requirement and Tim showed an understanding that other contractors did not. His concern for our family and patience was one of the many reasons we chose to work with him.

Came out promptly. Repaired my rental units AC system. Gave me options on what I wanted to repair. Fixed it and Ive already referred him to a friend. I do plan to use him again in the future.

We woke up on New Years Day with a broken heater and a house that was sitting in the low 60s. Despite the holidays, they were able to get to our house in less than an hour after we called, and had the heater back up less than half an hour after that. They even came back out the next day and replaced something that needed to be replaced. Top-notch service from some top-notch guys, even on short notice on a holiday. We will absolutely be repeat customers for any further HVAC needs.

I found The Air Guy on Google, Im so glad I did!! I called at 7pm, told him the issue and 10mins later he was at my door. That itself was amazing!! He explained to me what the issue was and how he fixed it. I purchased a maintenance plan because I really dont think Ill trust anyone else with my AC unit. Tim was straightforward with the charges and explained how the plan works. If youre looking for someone you can trust with your AC repair, but are scared of being ripped off by one of those big companies because you dont know any better, call Tim.

I had a hard time deciding which company to go with and finally decided on the Air Guy and I am so happy that I did. Johnny first came out to give me an estimate and ultimately did the install of our new AC system. He was very friendly and made sure to show me what was wrong with the old system. He also showed me all the work he did and explained what everything was and showed me how to change the filter and operate the new thermostat. Tim was equally helpful and friendly. I bombarded him with tons of questions to make my decision and he answered all of them, even when they were at 10pm. He also responded quickly to my messages. My friends ac went out on 08/10/17. I was helping find a reputable ac company to call, made several calls and because we live in Irving decided to stay local. One company came out and because of the location of the part that was bad (overhead) decided that just after surgery it was best not to attempt, no problem, any other circumstance I would hire this guy, just one of those things. Next up The Air Guy they came at promised time, took care of the problem at what she considers to be a reasonable price and time frame. One night right after I had my daughter my furnace arbitrarily decided to stop working. I had literally just been ripped off a month earlier by a company to the tune of $700 for a similar problem (that obviously wasnt fixed) and I literally had about $100 in my bank account. The Air Guy came out the very next morning knowing that he wasnt going to get a great pay day from me (I explained the financial issue beforehand), took a look and fixed the problem immediately. To be honest I have no idea what was wrong with it, but he gave me a great deal and the whole thing was fixed within about a half an hour. The best part is, my daughter was napping the whole time and they were really careful not to wake her, which is more than I can say for many other people who come out to my house, including family! I cannot recommend Tim enough!
