5 times I come to pick up my MacBook after repair. The worst thing is that yesterday they called and said that it was ready and could be picked up. wait until 10 pm, come at 9:20 pm staff do not give back say come tomorrow at 9:00 am. Came at 9:00 am the store is open from 10:00 am. Terrible service, I cant be on time for my job !!! Supervisor or General manager of the company, pay attention to this please !!! misinform your customers !! leave a very negative impression. I have been using the companys product since 2008 and this is the first time. very upset with this attitude !!!

Apple at Irvine Spectrum offers a full set of options and services much like every Apple retail store. However, this store stands out for its efficiency of a team working together very smoothly. I was a few minutes late for a genius bar appointment, and they were great. The customer support is second to none. Super smart team and very knowledgeable.

Pick up program is a ridiculous or stupid program. I made a mistake in selecting the store at Spectrum in Irvine - Why apple came up with the shopping online and scheduling with a specific window time to pick 3:00-3:15 pm, and if failed, I will have to wait another 14 days. The stupid program why scheduled with the window time and then still get in line with walk-in not even a line for the pick-up?

Extremely helpful staff! Rameen, Darcy and Mike are customer service experts. They were able to fix a phone a previous store had told me was unrepairable! Saved me a lot of money. Stop in for all your Apple products and stay for the workers. 😁

I’ve been using Apple products and visiting Apple stores for 15+ years and I’ve never had bad service or a bad experience anywhere. I was blown away at how combative and unprofessional AJ was at this store. The rest of the staff (including the techs) are amazing. This guy just has a horrible vibe. Thank you to the employee that was so helpful and transparent about AJ’s poor communication style. It was an extra nice touch as we walked out for AJ to comment “yeah have a nice day bro” in a really sarcastic way. Just such on off experience!

I cant believe how terrifying the customer service was at this location! I was never welcomed at the store and felt racially profiled. I had an appointment to get my silicone case replaced and they would not replace it. I had notes from another representative saying that they were going to replace it under warranty. The store manager named Troy would not honor it! He was very unprofessional and called me bro many times. He was really disrespectful! I am dissatisfied with the service and I was sick to my stomach after exiting the store. Troy in no way should be a store manager for apple. He and his store associate Mo treated me like I was garbage. I am honestly appalled from the whole situation.

Please centralize training with your employees so they dont give misinformation. :(I was given conflicting information by different employees--one said I could set a pick up contact to pick up my repair, but when my contact went, they werent allowed inside. They were told several times to go through the automated phone process in order to pick up my repair (while standing right outside the store), so we both called the automated phone number. We were both put on hold and then hung up a few times. My contact could clearly see that no one inside the store was picking up the phone and the employees were just conversing with each other, but the employees outside the store insisted we keep calling (so we did and kept getting hung up on). I ended up making another trip myself to pick up the repair, which was a waste of my contacts time.

You need a reservation when the store is mostly empty. I get it, COVID…. However, they are NOT following CDC occupancy guidance nor California’s guidance. They have a more woke Apple standard. I counted 6 people in there and 9 employees not including the 3 outside apologizing to everyone. I can’t wait until their App Store is decentralized. Go Epic!

I had an awfully bad experience at the apple store in Irvine spectrum on 6/13/2021. I went in for the 3rd time for the connectivity problem that I have been having with my Airpd pro and my phone. After getting the run around by the female with the green/blue hair representative, I decided to take matter to an upper level manager. This is when things got interesting. After explaining my issue to Scott the manager, he decided to give us the same runaround which made me really mad. I stated that this is not acceptable that that he needs to replace the both the case and the Airpods and make sure that it gets connected to my phone before I leave the store. The argument got heated and he decided to gets in our face and starts talk down to us and harass us despite us telling him to leave us alone and respect our personal space while we were waiting by their recommendation to charge the Airpod. I have never been treated so badly and with disrespect anywhere in any other business. I have been having issues with Airpod connectivity to my phone. This was our 3rd trip to the store for this problem. I originally had called the Apple customer service to resolve this matter and the customer service representative told me that this problem needs to be resolved in an Apple store. The first 2 times that I went in for the issue I was given a new case after they ran a test on the case. Here is the ridiculous part about apple, that we have to take the case home and charge and see if it connects! Wow what an outdated and ridiculous process! Here I am with the same problem for the 3rd time. I have wasted over 10 hours of my time with this issue so far. I do not understand why Apple does not exchange the complete unit in the store when a customer comes in for the issue? Why does Apple create these ridiculous steps which is designed to be in their favor and to wastes the customers time?

Me & my wife came here on Saturday night. We spend a good amount of time talking with an awesome rep about getting a new iPhone & watch. We were there close to closing so the rep said we can come back without an appointment to finish our purchase with any sales rep. Well, when we came back to buy the phone & watch, the greeters told us they can’t help us. We informed them of the situation, but still they said we can’t be seen & that we can make an appointment a couple days later or go to another retailer to buy an iPhone (not an Apple store).I hate writing 1 star reviews, but today was pretty upsetting. Don’t tell your customers to come back, no appointment necessary & then deny them the service that was promised. We even gave the greeters the name of the rep that helped us in hopes that she was working to confirm everything.Sad to say we are walking away with no new phone & a bitter taste in our mouths for this store.

I brought my brand new iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2020) to the store after wasting 6-month with apple support because the computer came with defective parts. The representative who helped me the day that I dropped off the computer was super friendly and caring. Unfortunately, whoever runs the store needs some serious training. I was told by customer service that the manager redirects all calls to apple online support; therefore, you have no way of finding out your repair status. I teach multiple online courses, and nobody can find the status because they did not update their notes. Nine days later, after I dropped off the computer, I finally got to speak to the manager only to tell me that it will be fixed soon, probably another week. Unacceptable, considering I did not buy a $500 computer from Costco. I paid $3,500, and I got a lemon and no customer service. Ive been a customer for 20 years, but I will not buy another Apple product after this experience.

This is a fun store with walls of glass. The customer service at all Apple Stores are exceptional. This one is no exception. I find it even a step above other Apple Stores, as the attention is just perfect. While it appears chaos is going on around you, there are so many attendants and they have it organized, you never feel forgotten even as you wait. They are all well informed.

Had to get a MacBook repaired but Apples processes made everything a lot harder than it needed to be. The actual repair took a couple days but I ended up without the laptop for three weeks. I would get calls and emails from different people asking for documents and each time I provided it, they would ask for something else. The staff at the store tried their best and the effort was much appreciated. TLDR, Apple support, 1 star. Apple Irvine Spectrum staff, 5 stars

The store wasn’t busy and nobody was waiting in line. I was given a pick up time for the new iPhone.Once I arrived, they directed me to a long line saying their system had issues and everyone in the line has a pick up window.When I ask, then what is the point of a pick up window, answer was a rude “they all had pick up appointments so it is 1 line for everyone”.I understand incompetence, everyone is not good at their job, but I do not understand the attitude... you are not doing me a favor and getting paid to be there. Horrible! Came here before they opened and got in line with other people. Was 4th in the “no appointment”. Checked in and told them my issue with my watch and MacBook. They quoted me an hour wait. I sat outside and waited for an hour and it was freezing out. Walked around for another 20 minutes then went to check in to see how much longer and they said another 2.5 hours! I told them I was quoted an hour over an hour ago and said she didn’t know what happened. Did nothing and offered to make me an appointment a week later. Awesome, thanks for wasting my time and making me wait outside in the cold for nothing.

If I could use negative stars I would. Its sad really... I am going to continue buying apple products and because of this fact I feel that the retail store management can care less about treating LOYAL customers with respect. I have been buying apple computers for 20 years and I am only 35 years old... the associates in the retail stores in my experience have always been kind, and this was no exception. However, when I asked to speak to the manager he came out with a condescending, and unreasonable attitude. I was looking to transfer my data from my old air to my new air, and was told it would take 48 hours.... i explained that the last four transfers I have done only took a couple hours at a different location, and if possible I would prefer to bring it back on a day when I can have say an 12 hour window of completion. he said 48 hours just like a drone would say. no empathy whatsoever. Again its sad that us customers have help build apple to what it is today along with their team members and the retail management seem like they are destroying what took decades to build. what used to be the best experience in the world has turned into a complete farce. I know this review wont do anything because I opened with I will continue to buy apple products, and that’s why all our customer service experiences at the retail stores will continue to get worse and worse what have we done.

The salesperson was great in selling the phone but when it came to doing the transferring and syncing other Apple products like Apple Watch and headphones, the experience was the worst ones ever! Both my wife experienced handing off to several different people in middle of transferring. The other couple across from us had the same issue as one of the Apple person pulled their lighting cable out in middle of their transferring data. Horrible!!!

I had visited this location after Christmas with a gift accompanied with a gift receipt. As to my dissatisfaction I was unable to get cash back when the gift was paid by debit. As we all know this comes out of your checking account, why this store was unable to handle is beyond me. The sales associate had me speak with the Sr. store manager Troy who laid out my two options gift card or go back on debit card come to find out that I had to be in possession of the card. So now I was given one option. The sales associate went on to tell me that I should be grateful to have been given a gift. Hello, who are you to tell me what I should be feeling. I am sure this gift giver wants the recipient to be happy with a gift that was paid from their hard working money not sit on their table or stuffed in a closet. My point from this review is this you should have asked what phone I had and what else within your store of accessories could be compatible with my phone. Being in retail for many years this is one of the main goals is how to retain the sale and help the customer. This was not an option from these two who could of very easily made this suggestion.Both Troy and this very rude sales associate totally forgot to even ask this all important question.I did go to another location and was very pleased that I got the service I deserved and the smarts of an associate to help me do an exchange.

Horrible store, better to shop online.The management is treating this store as some apple club I guess, you have to be a secret member to find it or be helped with. Only the apple map will even show you the correct building address, when you open the android map, the location is somewhere completely different in the spectrum. Google makes it so easy to show the correct address and when trying to locate a store, it is nice to know how to get there...Maybe not finding it is better than finding it. It took a while and the help of an actual shopping center map (have not used those for a long time). Just to be completely lost. There is no organization, no obvious structure or any help. You can quickly recognize that all apple personal wears the same top, but that will not help you. They are just rude and unhelpful. I Approached 4 of them for help. All of them told me they are busy, no matter if alone or in a group of red shirts. One actually told me she would help me in a few minutes. Which did not happen. I could not even figure out how to get on their list of people to be helped.After the fourth try of asking how the system worked I was told to just buy the stuff online. Which I then did, so standing in the store, waiting to get an email that I can pick up the watch I bought on my phone in the store. No information to how long that takes or how even that works, since there is no obvious checkout line either.Asking does not help much either. I was told to sit down and wait.The store was busy but not that busy and being helpful and polite should not be that complicated. Also some easy signs with rules or instructions to how to get service would be a start. I totally regret leaving my Android for apple, but I guess I just have to avoid customer service or the idea to pick up a product at a store.

Went in to get a new phone and the person who helped me didn’t explain anything. I have not bought a phone in 2 1/2 years so I don’t know much about the new phones. I explained to her what I needed she just showed me 2 phones and I asked her if she could explain the difference between the two. All she said the difference was that one had one camera and the other had two so I asked her why one had two she said for better depth. It was a horrible experience she never smiled and didn’t unwrap the phone to help me set it up she just said the phone was activated and gave me my receipt. I will no longer be coming to this location.

I had to drive all the way over here from Downey for a mistake that the Apple location in Brea made. When I showed up for my appointment the individual that assisted me stated that the employee from the Brea location had set me up for an appointment for the 5th of June at 4pm when I was told they had set me up with an appointment at 4pm today. I went in for a screen repair on my cracked iPhone screen. Although the screen was cracked, it was still useable. When I went in to pick it up, they told me the phone all of a sudden had water damage, and the screen was now broken and unusable. Explain to me how that happens if I was still able to use it when I dropped it off at the Apple store? The staff at this store broke my phone & then tried to up sell me on a brand new $1300 phone instead of replace mine. This store had awful customer service & they break phones instead of fix them.

I purchased a brand new iPhone 8 Plus from this location.Yesterday I came home from work and laid the phone on a wireless charger. A few hours past and I went to check messages on the phone. It was warm and then the horror; it was bent and the screen looks like it was about to split. I couldn’t believe my own eyes. I googled “bent iPhone 8 Plus” to find thousands of reports of similar and/or worse experiences. At this point, I shut off the phone for fear of burning my house down. Right after work, I go to this store and explain my issues. The response? They said a tech person won’t be available until sometime next week!!! So my house and my neighborhood can burn down due to a brand new iPhone and that was their response. I am calling every LA News channel to hear this story!!UPDATE 09/22/18:This store continues to be the worse managed Apple store in the world!! I have traveled to dozens of Apple stores but the employees at this location are incompetent. Case in point, for the past 5 years I get a new iPhone and Apple Care. Right after I set up my new phone, I visit the store to receive a partial credit for the old two year Apple Care coverage (30 second transaction). This year some uninformed employee quickly said such transactions must be done by phone (not true). I told her for the past five years it was done right at the store. She said that isnt possible! Then I call the stupid number when I get home. After being online for over 20 minutes, they tell me the department than manages such transactions is closed!! Apple if you dont address the management at the Spectrum, I will become a much louder detractor of your business.
