We have been going there for almost 20 years. We stopped by with my parents for lunch. They drove in and were told they had one parking spot open. It was a quite a walk for two handicap 80 year old couple. The restaurant server was rude, and did not want to take orders. The guest are required to wear mask, but not the workers. The crew was also not friendly at all. After 20 years of in joying Shelter Cove, we will most likely not going back. Plus may OSHA violations where the New Lodge was to be built along with violations to the Corona 19 safety requirements. OSHA will be contacting you. Pulse I suggest you review the handicap parking regulations required at Shelter Cove. There are Zero parking place at Shelter Cove. How many accessible parking spaces are needed? The minimum number of accessible parking spaces required depends on the total number of parking spaces in the lot, as seen in the table below. Furthermore, one of every six accessible parking spaces, or fraction of six, must be “van-accessible.” For example: A parking lot with 400 total spaces needs eight accessible spaces, and two of those eight spaces must be van-accessible.Total Number of Parking Spaces in Parking Facility (Lot or Garage)Minimum Total Number of Accessible Parking Spaces RequiredMinimum Number of Van Accessible Sparking Spaces1 - 251126 - 502151 - 753176 - 10041101 - 15051151 - 20061201 - 30072301 - 40082401 - 50092501 - 10002% of total1001 and over20, plus 1 for each 100, or fraction thereof, over 1000

These people will spam your email. I have never stayed at this hotel before but I was still subscribed to their promotional emails. I can only guess that they purchased my email address from Sideways Inn in California. No matter how they obtained it, the method is fraudulent. My only note to the management is that if you play dirty, never expect me to stay at one of your establishments.

We have stayed at Shelter Cove In Oregon several time in the past before it was bought out by Hiway West and it is definitely no longer enjoyable. The manager is unfriendly, dogs needs to be on a leash but not his. I made a reservation and called 2 days later to make one for a friend and the price had went up over $20 just because of the time of the call. And Im so sick of not being able to use cash. I just dont trust the system not to over charge and Ive heard of people being double charged so you got to watch it close. Can definitely tell its ran by a corporation. Just doesnt have that personal touch anymore.

We made reservations over a month prior to our Colorado get away, but found out two days before leaving that we didnt actually have a reservation as the new system allows for overbooking. This is a vacation fiasco and why this company from California thinks they can make things better in Colorado is beyond me??? Beware when booking!

Beautiful RV PARK!! We had to dry-dock, but that was fine with us. The scenery from our location was just beautiful. The mountains around us and the old school house with the covered-wagon near gave us some awesome pictures to show family and friends. We would use them again if we take this trip again as we move to Montana.

I got married in Goleta, CA and the majority of our guests and wedding party stayed at Flying Flags RV Resort & Campground as well as the Sideways Inn hotel (two of the Highway West Vacations properties). We had an amazing experience and the staff was very accommodating!

We have hosted reunions there for the last three years. Never again. The facilities are exactly as advertised but the management and group sales staff are indifferent, difficult to reach and full.if excuses. The over-improvement of the park is creating a loud, dense, frenetic environment. Next year we take our group of 30+ to a nearby dude ranch. Anywhere but Flying Flags.
