Tim is reliable, prompt, and economical. He tunes many of the pianos in the Iowa City Community School District, which means that he often has a need to repair pianos that are quite old, as well as pianos that are often moved, and get a lot of use by students and teachers. He is a master of repairing pianos, and doing it at a reasonable price. Every 6-months, he checks in with me to see if any of our pianos need tuning, which I appreciate, as regular tuning keeps them in pretty good shape.I highly recommend Strang Piano Services!

Tim has been tuning the studios pianos since we opened. He has also tuned my personal piano since I was a kid taking piano lessons. He is one of the few technicians that can not only tune but repair, refinish or rebuild your piano if needed.
