This place is OPEN WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE IT. . So many plans for thr day abruptly stop if they are involved in your daily plans.CONSTANTLY closing and locking the doors during hours they are supposed to be open.

I was there this morning, September 21at at 11 am e employee was bragging about calling in sick in the winter to a customer. Then she was rude and condescending. I will never go to a check n go again. The most unprofessional and unfriendly experience. I will tell my friends.

I am very pleased with the loan I got today! Liz was so very polite! I was so nervous because I had a personal issue and I needed cash fast! I made the right decision by going to Check and Go!

The reason for 1 star is because I know people whom were struggling with funds and was able to pay their owed loan in 2 payments from 2 different pay days, however, when I asked for this help with Christmas just a few days away and needed money to travel, they said they cant do that. When I told them the reason and that I would go negative in my account she just said sorry cant help, but if the check doesnt go through then we can discuss options... I told her it would go through and Id owe money to the bank she just says sorry cant help. But Ive seen them help others. Honestly felt like I was judged! Never going back to them ever again!12/30/2019 - reply to owner... I will not be coming back to Check n Go. I was unable to buy Christmas presents because of this and thought check n go would not treat me any differently then any other person, but I guess that is not the case. I will not be submitting feedback on check n go because nothing will be resolved and this is feedback enough for something to be done.

I usually have a fast and good experience when coming here to cash a check but I came here today (got a ride from someone as I dont have a vehicle) the door is locked and it is almost 11:30am on a Saturday....website states open and phone auto service also states open. If the store is closed today the website should state that or at least a sign on the door, but the sign showing open times says it should be open! Wasted trip and I need it cashed before Monday...highly irritating situation!

Always helpful and so friendly no matter how busy or how difficult some people may be. I cant say enough good things about them. Liz is the glue that holds their business family together 🙂👍

Horrible customer service. I wanted to use their store as it was the nearest to me when I came from Kalona to Iowa City. My bank is in Ft. Madison Iowa. There has never been a problem with my account. The manager? said it needed to be a local bank. When I attempted to tell her I had already used the Iowa City Advance America with no problem, she interrupted me and said would you listen to me? If there is a problem we need to be able to drive to the bank to get the funds. Bull crap. If there is a problem driving there isnt going to help. I believe when I started to question her she took offense and discriminated .. Horrible place. I even called before hand and asked what I needed to bring. I was NEVER told it had to be a local bank.

It was a good experience. They were having computer problems so it was a 40 wait.

Very unprofessional staff. On more than three occasions I have went there during business hours just to have the door locked and no one inside. The open sign is on and they are supposed to be open until 6:00. I went at 2:15 in the afternoon. I guess the boss just lets the employees take breaks and roam freely. Do not come here!!

I stop by every other Thursday to get my check cashed.

Friendly staff, and they got me some cash on the same day to help with my sons medical bill.

They have a great and fast customer service.
