Please Read. Buyer beware!!! H&R block is great until they are not. I have used them for several years without issue. My local office closed without finishing my taxes. If you have to call customer service it is a nightmare, different info depending on who you talk too. I had one person tell me she could not look up my taxes. I would have to drive 2 hours just confirm if they were accepted, and I could not initiate a refund request over the phone, in person only. The office who completed my taxes couldnt call me for weeks!! 10 min later I received a txt saying I had an appointment in Delaware on Monday, uh I live in Michigan. So I called again, and this time no issue confirming that taxes were accepted, it took 2 min. This is only todays interaction but pretty much sums up my experience this year. I was also told by H&R block that this sort of thing happens all the time, Awesome. It cost me $350 for this. I should not have to drive 2 hours to initiate a refund request, if they had any sort of actual costumer services they would have at least discounted their services after the initial screw up. Its not worth the headache to deal with them any further.

Not very happy. Cant figure out why I aint receiving my stimulus or federal taxes. They Cant ever tell me anything is the answer I get everytime I call n try to speak with someone. Never had this much trouble getting answers.

Our tax preparer is very competent and works hard to find all the permitted deductions. She is also helpful in explaining all of the forms to us.

I have been coming here for awhile and both my normal ladys have retired...they always would take time and try to deep dive and make sure they get everything...this year this lady typed in numbers off my w-2 and that was it no questions about anything literally took like 2 min dont feel like she cared

They messed up my taxes and tried to blame ot on me, and are now refusing the pay back the $1200 they screwed up on my taxes. Do not go here. Update: i had to jump through hoops and talk to 3 other places but ended up getting my money back. Dont go to the Ionia one though greenville is way more professional.

It cost us over $500 to complete our taxes and other family members who have very similar if not the same forms and family members pay closer to $200 by going elsewhere. We were told a much lower amount when discussing the cost prior to filing.
