Scott of Grand Wildlife Control was incredibly professional and helpful when we had a bat get into a room in our house. Luckily, he had time to come by within an hour, and easily removed the bat. We had previously spent many hours trying to remove it ourselves to no avail. We also had called a handful of other animal control companies, who weren’t available on the same day, and who tried to set up an appointment multiple days later - which wouldn’t have been helpful. In addition to helping with bat removal, Scott also knew a lot about the species of bat, had the info for what to do in case of a potential bite, and did a complementary exterior inspection which was educational and helpful. I highly recommend this company!

When searching for a company to help us remove and prevent squirrels from living in our attic, we had no idea what we were doing or what we were looking for. Upon accidentally calling an insect exterminator, we received a referral for Grand Wildlife Control. I immediately made the call to inquire about their services. Scott called me back in the same day. He was incredibly knowledgeable, the service prices were affordable and the services did not stop at removal, they included prevention. Scott was honest and timely (he came out the very next day) and his communication was very consistent. A week after Scott came out, we stopped seeing squirrels hanging around our roof and Scott coached us through prevention tactics. I highly recommend Grand Wildlife Control for any wildlife needs!

I had a snake in my vent and it was the second snake we found so we were concerned it was a colony. My household doesn’t like snakes so we called them and they were able to come out that day in about an hour and a half. He found a snake and transported it away and did a thorough inspection of my basement for more and how they got in. Very impressed with everything I saw. Would definitely recommend and use again if needed (hopefully not!)

Scott did a wonderful job of walking us through the process upon his first visit. He was efficient and honest. I really like the fact that he did a complete inspection of the house interior and exterior, and found an minor issue in or attic unrelated to our bat problem. He discussed it with me so we can address that issue so we can prevent further damage. He completed the bat eviction issue in a two-week window. Scott was very clean with his work. This company is awesome!!! They spent a lot of time diagnosing the problem. Then gave us a full rundown of the problem (including pictures) and costs to solve. They immediately started taking care of the situation and did a great job of stopping the entry of rodents to the house. I will use them again for any pest problems we encounter!

Scott was great to work with. He removed multiple dead creatures from my attic and caught 3 living ones! He was easy to communicate with, was speedy in coming over, providing a fair quote and getting all of the work done. He took his time talking to me and combing every inch of my home, discovering a lot of openings that couldnt be seen without knowing they were there! Scott was a very nice guy. Paid $159 for the initial inspection. We had a significant job for Scott who promised an email with pics of problem areas as well as a written estimate. That was about 3 months ago. Haven’t heard from him since. No messages returned. Bummer.

Im super happy with the service I received.

Paid a deposit a month ago and then Scott disappeared. There has been no work done after we paid and there has been no communication despite us reaching out multiple times. He was great upfront but this is disappointing. To make matters worse, we booked him with urgency since we have a baby on the way and wanted to make our house as safe as possible, and hes left us high and dry. Do not recommend.Update: Scott made it right, came back, and completed the rest of the job at no additional cost.

Scott came out to take care of an issue where bats where getting into our attic. After calling some of the larger companies in Grand Rapids and getting really high quotes just to even come out, I didnt think THAT was the best option. Through one website or another, and thankfully, I was able to find Scott. He came out for a fee (standard for these companies as ive come to realize) and inspected the property, sending me pictures of the areas that needed to be addressed. He then gave me a quote to do the work on bat exclusion-- letting me choose without pressure whether i would have him do it or a person of my choice. In all, the inspection fee + the service was very fair in comparison to what others were emailing me with, regarding typical costs, so I had him do the work. He put in three one-way doors for a week, and came back a week later to seal everything up. He also did a small re-inspection when he came back the second time to show me problem areas that might exist in the future if I dont get them taken care of (such as an old roof boot that he said could crack and become another entry area).I talked to him about warranties-- he guarantees his services for a year so long as the structure doesnt change-- like putting on a new roof or something that could cause additional entry areas.I think I called him on Tuesday and he was out here on Friday morning, to give you the amount of time it took me to get him here. He would probably be faster in emergencies, like if an animal was in your living space. Thankfully that wasnt the case with us. Hes very detailed on the phone. I think our first phone call lasted about 15 minutes to schedule because he walked me through the steps he would do to get the bats out.

Scott was a lifesaver! He was quick to get back to me and very patient will all my questions and concerns. He came over to my place and removed the squirrel that was in my attic very promptly, and made sure that no more could get in afterwards. He does amazing work, and ill definitely be using him again.
