Cannot say enough nice things about Amy and Ryan Gregory at Steele Street Hall. They are SO laid back, so easy-going, it was a pleasure to work with them over the course of a year and a half for my wedding reception.Their food is OUT OF THIS WORLD. I work at a Country Club for events during the summers, and there is absolutely no comparison. Every one of our guests raved about how amazing all of our food was at the reception and are asking for recipes on it all!! We were allowed to decorate the hall however we wanted. It truly is a blank slate and you can create a vision for your event in a way that works for you.The bar is amazing - all of our guests kept saying the bar itself was such a hidden gem. Literally a separate sports bar type room, it is situated off in the corner so our guests were able to hang out in the bar area if they wanted for the night. We had a huge drinking group, and Ryan was a pro. We put him to work that night and he handled everything like a rock star.You get the hall for 3 full days - Friday, Saturday, and Sunday clean up by 8pm. It was so nice not to have to worry about getting everything out of the way and cleaned up super early Sunday morning after the wedding. But again, Amy will be there when you need her to be. And we got to take home the leftover food - so, enough said.If you are looking for a relaxing, open space to celebrate any occasion with family and friends in the Ionia area, Steele Street cannot be beat.

Best damn grub I ever ate. Excellent cuisine graciously served for your dining pleasure.I prefer a table halfway between the band and the air conditioner that way I can stay cool and the trombone player can stir my soup. Also I like it cause you can meet a lot of chicks there.
