DO NOT USE SEARS FOR ANYTHING!!!Called Sears Repair as our cottage is in a location with few repair providers. Scheduling was irritating (on hold forever and then the person overseas who answered the call kept breaking up and was impossible to understand). They tried selling me insurance and other items which added to irritation but I decided to continue with scheduling. 1st appointment repair guy was on time and great. Diagnosed problem and had to order part, which was totally fine. He scheduled our next appointment. I was given a window of 10-2 on the install date. Around noon I luckily looked at my email and saw I needed to reschedule. Went around and round with their call center overseas and still couldnt figure out why I needed to reschedule. Im now looking for a local independent repair person as I dont want to deal with scheduling from someone on the other half of the world and to be stood up again.
If I could give zero stars I would.I had an appointment for between 1-5pm. I waited and after 5pm I called. The recording, not a person, said someone would be here by 6:30pm. That time came and left. I called again and the recording, still not a person, said my appointment was rescheduled for Monday. How do you reschedule someone without even talking to them? SERIOUSLY!!! I finally get someone, a human being, on the phone who proceeds to tell me that their system has been down most of the day so the technicians cant do any calls. WHAT!?!? The woman I spoke to hard a VERY distinct voice and I proceeded to ask for a supervisor. After being on hold for awhile I had a supervisor on the phone that sounded EXACTLY like the woman I was just speaking to. This whole experience has infuriating for the simple facts of no one called me, they rescheduled without speaking to me and lied to me about being a supervisor. I do NOT recommend that anyone trust anything that this company says. Needless to say, I will be calling corporate and finding another service company to help me. Maybe Sears needs to shutdown their service centers too.
Highly recommend them. The serviceman was courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful. He explained everything in detail, and was professional. He repaired my appliance quickly, and had my machine running like new.
Scheduled an appointment on 10/17/2020 for the 18th. The scheduled me from a whopping 8am-5pm. I called on the 18th to the automated service at about 4:00pm wondering if they were coming. The automated service stated I was without any communication scheduled from 2:45 - 4:45. I called in at 4:50 to see if they were still coming, transferred at least 4 times through their departments and ended back up at the original department and informed me my appointment is for tomorrow now. I explained all this, and they weren’t the least bit concerned about anything or the fact I wasted a whole day with a broken refrigerator and waited for them. They weren’t interested in communication or resolving the issue. Even if they had scheduled me first thing in the morning, I at least would have considered using them. However, they said “follow the schedule”. So I informed them how unprofessional it is, disrespectful and overall in Inappropriate of them, cancelled my appointment, and will go anywhere else.Don’t use them for repairs. If this is their attitude and performance for a non emergency (since I have two refrigerators). Imagine how they’d treat you for something urgent....
The repair person was on time and called before arriving. However, he somehow placed the dishwasher up higher and I now cant access the start button when the door is closed. He also took a phone call and gave that person my address then went outside to talk to this person. Just didnt feel right. He also did not make sure the dishwasher worked before leaving.
Needed someone to check out our washer and too old too repair
