I dont like being lied to. As a frequent renter I understand what I can or cannot do, I also know what they can & cant do. Checking other locations to see whats available is something they can do. They get paid by the hour, & I was the only person in the store. One employee is new & clearly has not been trained. The vibe is theyre not going to train her. Overall tone was rude. Simple job to do for most ppl I guess.

Had a storage unit since July and just moved out 9/24 with roaches coming out of my stuff

Complete pain in the rear your customer service isnt worth the title theyre given. Corporate isnt any better. Close the unit in May and they still want to take out $90 a month for June July and August and want me to run around and spend my gas money to show paperwork where it was their mistake. To me this is just like stealing your money.

Rented a pickup truck truck was as I expected. I am 40 minutes from the rental place no issue with that either. My issue is based on a total lack of customer service. After returning the truck yesterday this morning I was missing some vital paperwork so I called the office to ask them if they found it their reply was just come up and look in the truck.this is not even ok customer service

Do not go here for hitch installation. Although Shannon was extremely polite, professional, and helpful the installation staff seems incompetent. I scheduled an appointment and when a conflict arose I called and rescheduled. When I showed for my appointment there was no record of my call or of my appointment change and I had to reschedule. Then, when I took my car to my next appointment they kept it all day only to call me and say they couldn’t install the hitch because of rust and that my holes needed to be retapped. I had that done, scheduled ANOTHER appointment. Just dropped my car off and now they’ve called me to pick it up and said they can’t install it AGAIN!They may have the best hitch installation price but good luck getting it installed.

The young lady with 2 nose rings is so rude. She shouldnt work with customers

I made an appointment weeks in advance, and they still don’t have the parts available for my appointment. Not to mention, I stood in line for 15min where the single employee assisting customers talked down to the customers. Very disappointed.

I had a unit for five years and had no problems with the security of my belongs. The staff are very helpful, nice and always helped me whenever i had questions or concerns. Moving out of the unit was very easy.

Katie was completely unprofessional! She was very short with my dad! We tried to ask questions about insurance and she just give my dad attitude! And then grunted as we walked away! She was so completely rude! We had no idea where we were supposed to go to get our trailer so we just waited outside thinking someone was going to bring it around. I will be calling corporate on this situation! I’m not trying to be a “Karen” or a “chad” but this is just crazy!

My experience with U-HAUL was bad. No buddy told me I can’t smoke in the car wasn’t any sign in the car and was not in the contact I signed with U-HAUL. Now they want a fee for that and I find it not far. I’ll never use U-HAUL in my life ever.

I required transport in a hurry; uhaul was there to assist. I was able to get the proper size vehicle required for the job. The job took longer to expected, I was able to call ahead and extend the use of the vehicle. They made the move easy and uneventful. Thanks U-Haul on Michigan in Inkster MI. It was greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Storage unit worker would not set the doors to “hold” causing me to trip over obstacles to move my things in. Units are old and the floors were dirty. Would not recommend

A employee named guy just woe is all I can say. I heard the f bomb more than I cared to inside as customers was talking about his behavior outside accutly to a customer. I dont know were the manager was but Gut is gonna run some one over in the parking lot .Came flying thru beeping the horn but wen ur driving and angry blowing the horn speeding thru a parking lot is def gonna get someone hurt. Never have I been to a place that allows such behavior . this man shpuldhsve been dealt with. Poor girl at front desk was nice as can be . As I was leaving another employee was coming in ask was going out yeah real gentlemen he waited forme to open the door for him. What a sweat heart . I hope home office see this and will do a complete revamp ofthisstore

This location is easy to see, and has a large number of trucks and trailers.Ive rented my share of U-Haul trucks, and I have to say I found myself waiting in line every time I was here. I had no issues with the staff, but their computers are slow and seem to flake out on almost every transaction, causing them to have to start over. They are quick to bring a truck around once the transaction is complete, and returns are easy, but only if youve done it before. This location is the easiest to get in and out of with a truck.

Helpful staff, rented trucks from them for a few moves. The facility is easy to see from the road, and has lots of trucks for rentals if you did not confirm ahead of time. Returns were as easy as possible; Ive never been hassled or delayed bringing a truck back as long as I emptied and swept it out before hand.

I rented a trailer here. The counter people were friendly and helpful, the service staff were great at ensuring the trailer was safely connected. I was in and out within 10 minutes. Great service.

Inkster Uhaul saved my weekend! I had an issue at another Uhaul location and Inkster got me right in for a hitch installation the same day. They were very accommodating and gave me a discount off my installation fee for the problems I had somewhere else. Jacob and Zach where extremely understanding of my situation and helpful and professional. I will definitely make the extra drive to come here for future needs instead of the location closer to my home. Very satisfied with their great customer service!

Employees were nice and they got me in and out as quickly as they could.

Rented a truck for short haul, but I had to disinfect and sanitize it myself. It was so smelly and dusty inside it made me nauseous. Staff was young and only collecting a paycheck as they were not polite or professional. I complained to the company but never heard anything back from them. Thank goodness theres other locations!

When you rent a vehicle, MAKE SURE the odometer matches whats on your rental contract BEFORE you leave their lot... otherwise youll be paying for someone elses mileage and itll be your word against theirs (and you will lose the disagreement). Dinged me for 1.5 miles that I didnt drive, even though they got the truck back with a gallon more fuel than I actually used.

This place is a horrible joke, the lights turnoff every 5mins while your in your storage unit so you fall and trip over to get out to try n walk by the stupid sensor all the way down the hall, you complain to the staff they dont care at all.Im sooo glad i finally moved my stuff out i need a stupid miners head light to do it.I would never ever use their storage facility again i would much rather take my stuff to a field and burn it then deal with this place and these people.

Dont buy a truck from these people. On there maintenance record sheet they claim that this one particular truck I was going to purchase, stated that the brakes were in excellent condition that didnt seem to be the case after driving 20 miles and realize that the brakes locked up on were smoking profusely. Never again.

They are rude and will try to rip you off on gas and mileage. Make sure to check the vehicle youre given against the contract before leaving to make sure it matches. The vehicle will likely have less gas than the contract states. Make sure to get a new contract or youll be responsible to add more gas than you should when you return.

Receive a transit van, after picking it up had a flat tire. The location was busy, but the vehicle should have been inspected. Cannot get in touch with this location because no one is answering the phone. Waited over an hour and twenty minutes for a tow truck. Unprofessional location.

WORST customer service ever. The guys were dressed so unprofessionally. Some guy came on the walkie cussing using the F word while one of them was standing next to us. He wouldnt make eye contact when he came up to our car. We had been waiting for 20 mins for help and when we did get help they said oh well we are closed now so you can just unhook it yourself and put it some where This place is a joke.

Theyre always kind and have trucks available for my spontaneous needs.

Made an appointment for hitch installation. An early morning appointment and they already ran late 1 hour starting the installation. Slowest and worst service ever.Not recommended.

I got a truck on 8/31/2018 and they just took there payment out today on 9/6/2018. That’s a problem

They have every size and shape of trailer or truck you may need. And hitches too if you need one.

The key return is a letter box by the right entrance of the building. I spent 30 mins around midnight looking for this, horrible experience hope this helps someone

Place is a joke they over charge you and when u try too get your money back the dont know what too do call and talk too a lady and she hung up on me wont go there again
