This post office is conveniently located with plenty of PO box offers/services. Friendly staff at the counter made it easy for me to ship off multiple prepaid packages. Lots of parking available!

I go to this Post Office if I am in the area or if the offices near my home are closed. It is a full service Post Office. The clerks are very helpful here. There is plenty of parking. The bulletproof glass at the front desk is a little unique but I have never had a problem there.

Horrible customer service and they need to get rid of whoever is out delivering mail. Y’all deliver mail late and act nonchalant about it as if people don’t have important stuff coming in the mail.

I sent a package to my mothers house days before I left to get there and I arrived at my mothers house before it did and I still didn’t get it $70 for y’all to play with people clothes and food thank god I didn’t put my medicine in there ill be dead because y’all can’t keep your word but I’ll take my money back. Next time I’ll use UPS and not USPS

Im sad to see bad reviews. I am a small business owner and I have used this post office for 2 years now. I have never had an issue with any of my prepaid postage parcels going missing or not being scanned in to active tracking information. In the past I have had issued with other post offices not scanning in every parcel. So far, so good. And in my experience, the people who work here are absolutely the most pleasant and professional. Remember these are government employees and should be treated with respect. This is a good place.

Great service every time I go

The staff inside are very helpful and friendly and work hard. The building on the other hand is filthy. The walls need to be washed and painted, the ceiling tiles need to be replaced and the hvac needs to be cleaned. Today the alarms are going off and are ear piercing. Yet the staff is still working.

My mailman cut thru my yard. Breaking my yard lights and no respect for people property.

I hate having to go here the employees are so rude especially the lightskin lady effort the glasses and nappy a## pony tail! They always have attitudes! Dont take your problems to work with you then take them out on the customers its not our fault... They definitely need training or new better employees

Worst city work staff in the state of Michigan! All the female customer service reps are ratchet and very rude. I can’t wait to move out of inkster to finally get better city services! The mail carriers always deliver the wrong mail to my house thats to a completely different address on my street. And when you call and complain they do not care at all about your missing mail. SMH

Worst customer service ever! They are extremely rude and unprofessional. They hold my mail, don’t delivery packages and send my mail back. This is by far the worst ran business ever, no one does anything to help and apparently it’s okay for them to do so. The mail carrier has several complaints against him, including a police report and nothing is still being done.

Extremely slow & the teller needs to sharpen his customer service skills.

This post office is terrible. I use to get my mail by 3p now Im not getting til 7p. I normally have stuff delivered to my work but I thought I would actually use this one for once since I live in Inkster. Im going to go back to my work post office. I get my stuff delivered by noon.

I give credit where credit is due, they have stepped their game up and gotten better since the pandemic.

I will make sure I never have to come here again. Tried to pick up a package and was told it wasnt in the back three times, and it wasnt until I got angry knowing it was there that they finally decided to give it to me. Rude and unprofessional staff. The mail carrier hates his job and is incredibly rude. I hate this place.

I love the Inkster Postal office excellent customer service and I have always been blessed with great carriers that went above and beyond and always answered questions. I been receiving mail and dealing with this Post office off and on since 1986. I cant complain.

Employees are not always very friendly. They act like you are inconveniencing them, and make you feel like they want you to leave, NOW! Customers are very nice and friendly, while you are waiting in usually what is a long line, they conversate with you. Im just so thankful that I dont have to visit very often!

They dont deliver my packages when they say they out for delivery

They have a huge problem giving packages to the right addresses! 1 time my glasses went to WHEREVER & the office manager told me, just look at it like this, you blessed someone else

A lot of my mail that is scanned and sent to my email I dont receive. A lot of my packages has been left at the wrong address, a couple of times my neighbors from around the corners have to bring me my packages. The mail lady is always on the phone when she approached my house to leave the mail. Theres been several times, where they left other people mail and packages at my address that I had to return. I am past Fed Up with this post office, something definitely needs to be done.

I gave this rating because this post office told my girlfriend in order to have her packages delivered to Thompson towers she has to write a heartfelt letter to the post master in this post office. My girlfriend has seizures,shot in the head has migraines,and because of that she doesnt go outside like talking about it that why she mainly only orders stuff online to where she where she doesnt have to come out. We are highly ticked off that she has to leave the safetyness of our house/apartment and walk all the the post office for a chance that she could not have a package there. We do not have a p.o. box we should NOT have to go to the post office to pick up our mail. Im speaking for all the residents that can not leave this building without help or people like my girlfriend who have seizures because she still has 22 bullet in her brain and cant slip on anything and fall.

So glad I dont live in Inkster no more so I dont have to deal with these losers!!! The post master JERK got mad at me for me writing emails, and leaving notes, to save MY mail at the office for pick up and THEY NEVER DID IT! Not only that, they didnt deliver it, he so busy screwing that FAT POSTAL LADY he threw all my mail away and tried to get me arrested by some detective...guess What? Never worked! Ha! Garden city has better service.

I miss mail carriers from long ago!Now, mail is constantly delivered to the wrong address! My neighbor has given me mail multiple times, today, Im going around the block to give mail to a neighbor with the same address but different street!If someone wasnt honest and return ones mail, that could present a problem, a very serious problem(s) perhaps!The usps needs better management and accountability measures.I expect to receive my mail, not someone else getting it repeatedly!

I haven’t had a bad experience yet!. Despite other reviewers, the light skinned lady has always been nice and pleasant to me :-)

Very good customer service here.

They need to do some clean up with their carriers.. 1st off, the mail comes wait to late in the day, secondly, if i have a package and I am not home, I never get the pink reminder slip until the next day, on top of that, they are supposed to let me know what they did with the package...i.e left in leasing office or will try and redeliver, they never do. I work regular business hours like everybody else and I really hate that they dont handle packages the way they should.

I am sick of tired of post office carrier walk on my beautiful grass! Which English do u understand. You guys dont have any respect to this neighborhood. I live here past 25 yrs. I love my old p.o. carrier Kelly, he have a HEART and RESPECT this neighborhood. Now we have disrespectful p.o. carrier. IT IS RIDICULOUS !!

Terrible!!! Needs new mail deliverers. I never receive notices of delivery. My items almost got shipped back to the seller because it was the third notice of delivery and I did not get a single warning. I had to walk up to the post office to get my package-that they claimed they didnt have.My packages are always delivered the last day I should receive it or not at all. I wish I could get another carrier. It is so terrible

Very poor service, the mail carrier comes at various times of the day. Its never the same. Never heard of mail coming at 7:00 at night. Been video taping her just sitting right in truck around the corner. Going to report her this weekend. Or put her on Fox 2 news. Im on Isabelle st in Inkster mich

The absolute worst mail delivery in the state of Michigan I had mail that was supposed to be delivered on Saturday never get it go to the post office they dont have it tell me is on the truck being delivered and never gets delivered Im waiting on insurance check to pay for my mothers funeral and theyre just holding my mail
