Richard was great. I actually have him saved in my phone as Richard Amazing Roofing for ease of finding him. He took the time to come over and quote the job (replace some old guttering, install some new guttering where there wasnt any, and check the roof for us) and have a good look around, then came back a couple of days later with his team to do all the work for an awesome price. I will 100% be using him again in the future and recommending him to others.

He called before he came to provide an inspection of the damage and an estimate of cost. Richard provided a video of the damage and an explanation of what could have caused the problem. He provided a description of the materials and techniques of how House Mechanics would correct the problem. He gave a time frame for the repairs and how long it would take. House Mechanics crew show up on time and met the completion time promised, and the area was left clean and neat. The cost was in accordance with the estimate given. Richard is a gentleman. Hes professional, courteous and he gets the job done at a reasonable price. He even cut an overgrown, high up tree branch for me after repairing the roof - free of charge! In todays society, its not easy to find such a nice, honest contractor anymore!

Not sure how this company had a 5 Star rating. Quite literally the WORST home maintenance company Ive ever worked with.-The roof leaked and had to have another company come fix it.- They broke our kitchen skylight and couldnt fix it. So it got covered by a piece of plywood and was shingled over.- They did an awful job at clean up. Had to replace 2 RZR tires, a Jeep tire and a tire on my Altima.- One guy almost dropped a bucket of roofing nails on my head.-AND they uses the bathroom out back instead of going to the gas station half a block away.Would absolutely NOT recommend this company.

Really loved having him come and do our gutters. He was on time, efficient and he came back a couple days later to fix some loose boards under the gutters without having us to ask. He was super professional and did a great job. I would 100% recommend there services. Also, it’s a lifetime warranty on anything he fixes, yet you probably won’t need it because he does a great job the first time around.

Richard and his team came out and worked all day to help get my roof repaired. I had other previous quotes that were more expensive and didn’t cover all the issues he found. I appreciated him taking pictures and showing me what issues he found and explaining the problem clearly to me. He was courteous and professional, I will continue to use his services and recommend it to others.

Dealing with the insurance company requires experience, patience and persistence. Richard has all three. I had coverage that included replacing the storm damaged roof up to current code. That turned out to be quite expensive. We worked on it together and kept in good communication easily. Very pleased with result and recommend highly.

Great small business to support. They came out a few days after I contacted them (via text) and gave a quote. Two weeks later, they were here doing the work. Very reasonable price and great to work with. On a side note, I contacted another business the same day I contacted House Mechanics and am still waiting for a quote. House Mechanics finished their work here 2 weeks ago.

Outstanding company. We had some minor wind damage to our roof and I called around to a bunch of companies in the area for estimates. House Mechanics offered an excellent estimate and scheduled the work for the following Tuesday. As I sent pics of the damage to the owner, he responded and said that it needed fixed immediately due to upcoming rain, and came out a couple hours later. Job finished, extremely reasonable and agreed upon price, and professional service.

House Mechanics is a go to company. I have used there services several times. Prices are great, always professional, thoroughly describes the issue at hand, what repairs are needed and patient to answer questions. Its nice this day in age to find a company you can trust when you need them.

We used House Mechanics Inc to repair our gutters, they did an excellent job, quick response and were very helpful in explaining the repairs and cleaning up after the work was done. I think Richard of House Mechanics worked hard to make sure the gutters were in better shape than before and provided a very good repair at a fair price. We would use them again for gutter or roof repairs.

The insurance company didn’t initially want to pay for anything except the roof, but Richard was diligent and thorough, and got them to understand the damage. Fast, friendly, and affordable! We had a leak and the house mechanics were out here in about an hour. He showed us how it was leaking, even took a video to show us. He explained everything very well. Definitely affordable compared to other places. Other places wanted 275 just to come look at the roof! He fixed our roof for under 100! Amazing people!

After a lot of weather damage we contacted House Mechanics to inspect our roof. They recommended we call our insurance. Insurance wrote up the estimate and scope and House Mechanics was able to install a new roof and worked with us to upgrade to a better shingle material while staying within the insurance scope.All the work and workers were professional and extremely timely. Our new roof, gutters and downspouts are fabulous and we are extremely pleased that we chose House Mechanics.

I’ve been using House Mechanics for a few years now and they always do an exceptional job. Not only are they quick to respond but they are honest. We had Richard repair some missing, and damaged shingles, caused by high winds. He completed the job in a timely fashion and was very professional, and reasonable. I cant recommend House Mechanics highly enough.Its rare that the lowest quote turns out to provide the highest quality, but that was exactly our experience with House Mechanics. Several other contractors came out to look at our loose gutters and every one recommended a complete replacement, to the tune of several thousand dollars.Richard immediately convinced us that he could permanently fix our problem without replacing anything. After having three other roof and gutter specialists attempt to re-secure our gutters, I watched as Richard secured them to the roof and then (literally!) hung from the third floor gutters to prove theyd hold. Perhaps a bit unconventional, but hes equally honest, enthusiastic, and hardworking. And--again--it doesnt hurt that his quote was by far the lowest.We will definitely use House Mechanics again in the future.
