I have been working with you guys for almost a year now. I have not been helped whatsoever, with anything, I have found my own job paid for my own clothes and shoes for work with absolutely no help from the career counselor. I dont know how any of you are staying employed if your not helping anyone! Oh and not to mention my caseload was moved to another counselor and STILL no help!

I think Vocational rehab is absolutely amazing! They have changed my life!! My counselor Melinda Nicholson is simply the best! She has gone the extra mile for me on so many occasions! We have met several times and every time we met she was able to map out a plan for me to get my ideal job! And because of her I am now heading in the right direction! God willing and because of the hard and dedicated work of Melinda I am hoping I can be a greeter at Sams club!!! Thank you Melinda! You have changed my life! I will always be so grateful to you and to all of the great hard working people at voc rehab and crossroads!!

Lets see here. What do you need to know? It took a year for them to place me with a job. I barely make any money and Im a STEM college graduate. If you have any kind of criminal record, they will send you to a place where you are belittled, and verbally assaulted. I meet with Chelsea Jones at a local McDonalds to coordinate my job search. At these locations they subtly insult you with collected covert surveillance data. And Chelsea says it happens everywhere. She completely dismisses it. I have no where else to go because of the disability caused by a medication I do not need. I feel really sorry for the totally disabled. I wouldnt be surprised if they have the same service.

After demonstrating much patience, and working with this organization for 3 years of my life, they never once found me a job. Everything I did such as survival jobs, including finding my permanent job, was done ENTIRELY ON MY OWN. They spent so much time dragging things out, and the employee assistant organizations/programs they tried to put me in also were no help finding me work. My job coaches were an absolute joke, they kept transferring me to different VR counselors, where we had to start all over again with the same paperwork time after time, again and again. It was all so much energy and time just wasted over the years, and its offensive that an organization like Voc Rehab is allowed to exist because they are only hemorrhaging money from our government and other peoples wallets when that money should be going toward things that are going to help more people find work in our society, not bleed more money out! An absolute colossal waste of 3 years of my life and resources that Ill never get back, but they got paid during all this time so it worked out just fine for them!

They never answer there phones & when I addressed a complaint about a service provider to Angle Jones she refused to change providers now Im being denied services because the joke of a provider they sent me to claimed I did something I didnt & then claimed I quit my job when I was fired. The provider was just disappointed my uncle is a doctor & Ive had medical training. We know whats going on I was just doing what Voc Rehab said, but telling someone who has little to no income to go get tested for thyroid when you have no symptoms is ridiculous. Indiana doesnt have Medicaid for people who are little to no income. They have HIP which if you dont have the money to pay their deductible then you SOL. You get taken off & cant get back on it.

Absolutely deplorable services. Son was recommended by School for and no one showed up. I called the office and their only recommendation was to contact the VR coordinator. They said they dont have applications online and I have to come into office. But Im traveling on business and they had no other recommendations. They are a worthless organization.

Horrible and lazy!! Was told what I wanted to do was not a voc rehab area of interest and that I should use my GI Bill. Brought her the school code showing it WAS meant for voc rehab and was told it would be too hard to do and would take too long to accomplish it. The employees are holding a billet that should be reserved for someone who wants to help/work for vets, not the useless staff that is employed currently.
