Just because people make mistakes in life does not mean they are worthless. Trauma informed care is an approach that looks at the whole person and not just the mistakes they have made. Some have been mistreated, hurt and abused as children by the very people who were suppose to protect them and nurture them and love them. Some suffer from mental health and substance abuse issues as a result of the trauma they have endured. Some have the desire to overcome and to use their story to help others. Thanks to those who have the grace and mercy to help these human beings.
They treat their residents and their children like their less than human they say there kid friendly but thats a lie there not even family friendly on visitation day its all a set up looks good on outside but the insides hell
The cook is a hoader of expire food.i saw this first hand .and she has allergies that make her eyes run, which she wipes them and then serve them without washing her hands just nasty
Great place wonderful worker
I spent time here . The staff is rude. They are a work release center. I was not sentenced here. I was here pretrial. Which means I had not been found guilty of any crime. I was just here because I had no place to stay when the judge released me on my Own Recognious . It was so bad that I returned to court and ask the judge to return me to jail. Now thats bad.
A wonderful alternative sentencing program for women with preschool age children throughout Marion County and the State of Indiana.
So we take criminals and give them freedom? They obviously didnt care about the welfare of their children when they did the crime but when it comes down to do the time they are worried about their children! Screw that throw the bums in prison and let them do their time!
I think they have a wonderful program there helping women that made mistakes to stay with their children while they doing their time and allowed children go up with their mom
