We have had our hot tub for only 4 months & in that time, the turbo went out, lights stopped working, & the headrests blead into the water leaving black residue on the tub & our skin. Royal Spa did fix the turbo & lights for us which is why Im willing to give them 2 stars. We are not happy at the moment though because we were told that Royal Spa would help us move our hot tub anywhere within the state of Indiana, should we ever need it. Well, the need recently came due to an unforeseen family emergency & royal spa has told us they will not help us move it even with us offering to pay more for the service. So, after all is said and done, we do NOT recommend Royal Spa. It has come across to us that all they care about is making a sale and the quality of their product and service has suffered greatly because of it.

The service and communication is awful. I ordered my hot tub at the end of March before the COVID-19 shut down. My hot tub was supposed to be ready July 1st. I have called every week for the last month. Every time I call, someone says they cannot find my order status, dont know where it is and someone will call me back. The NEVER call back. Worst service I have ever experienced! I have no idea if the hot tub is of high quality or not since I have yet to see it. I am starting to wonder if the whole thing is a front or scam. Buyer beware!

I feel that we received a great quality hot tub, we are utilizing it at least 3 times/week since we had it delivered in the Summer of 2019. If we have any questions it is very easy to call and speak with someone who is willing to help out. We have already recommended Royal Spa to several of our friends, and one has already purchased from you since (and they are equally as happy with their purchase). Great service and great quality.

We have been enjoying our Royal Spa swim spa almost daily! It has been beneficial for both exercise and relaxation. Derek has been great to work with as he is very knowledgeable and has answered all of our questions from the beginning of the process to our maintenance questions. (As has Ron.) The delivery team were also very professional and helpful. We are very happy with our swim spa purchase and would highly recommend Royal Spa to anyone looking for a spa. Oh, we are also glad that they make their own swim spas locally. Thank you!

We had a very good experience deciding and ordering our hot tub with Kevin and the only reason I do not give it a 5 star is the temperature level in that building. I found myself wanting to rush so I could get going. A good level of AC would be greatly appreciated.

We purchased the Royal Spa King Ultra from the Avon store. Tish was our salesperson and she did an awesome job. She is extremely knowledgeable and has taken great care of this newbie. It’s our first tub. Delivery setup was simple and the techs were on time and had the tub installed quickly. I’ve gone back to the Avon store for chemicals and questions and all of the staff have been great to deal with. If your shopping for a tub be sure you check out Royal Spa. A great company with a great product.

Royal Spa did a great job! My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday and met with Ray Pinkinston, who spent about two hours educating us on our first spa. Ray was very knowledgeable on how the spas were manufactured and how they ran. It was a pleasure working with him and his entire team from start to finish. The installation team did a very professional job and we love our new spa. Make sure you ask for Ray, when you stop in!

There are a lot of options and everyone saying theirs is the best. Do your research and you will like the local business model and quality of Royal Spa. Added benefit is the base allows you to install it on a gravel bed vs. the big expense of concrete. The low amount of chemicals needed is a big plus. BE SURE to ask for Nick at the main location at Epler and 37 and you will be happy. I asked a thousand questions and he was patient and not high pressure. I only recommend Royal Spa and love my Sultan.

This company is great! I am on my 2nd hot tub with Royal Spa (upgraded to larger one) and the tubs are awesome! The main reason for my review is the service call we just had yesterday. I have owned this tub since 2011 and just experienced my first issue with it. The tub kept tripping the breaker so I called the parts department, Isreal was really helpful and tried to help me troubleshoot the issue over the phone. I ended up getting a service call setup (I wasnt comfortable with my troubleshooting skills). I called this in yesterday at approximately 9:00am and a service tech was at my house within 4-5hrs and had me back up and running. Ended up being a little transformer deal. Royal Spa recognized my need as the temperature was around 12 degrees yesterday and made sure they came out to avoid possible freeze damage! I greatly appreciate the customer service and dedication to send a tech out on a really cold day to take care of us! I will be a Royal Spa customer for life!

I bought a hot tub 2 years ago. It has never been right and they have been out many times to fix it. Ive asked to return it multiple times and they have said no they could fix it. I bought their top of the line version but it is junk and the service is worse.

We love our spa and use it every week for over 10 years now. Weve had to do a little bit of parts replacement over the years but nothing huge. Its one of the BEST investments we ever made in our own health, tranquility.We also bought a cedar building, in which to house our hot tub, from Royal Spa. Im getting nervous about that because each place that the polycarbonate roof (clear plastic dome) was attached to the building, it has started cracking. We spent about $5,000 on the 10x12 building and LOVE it, especially being able to see the stars and being protected from rain or snow in bad weather, but it is frightening to see the roof beginning to fail. It has six cracks that are growing, inch by inch, as I type.We called and spoke to a salesman named Derek who said they no longer make the clear dome, but he seems to want to maximize profit on selling us a new roof of a different kind. That worries me. It doesnt seem fair to profit from such a long-time customer because their product is failing. He said hed talk to the owner and get back with us. Its been a week with no word yet.Im from Indiana. We live in Illinois. We could have purchased a hot tub from local places, but I have so many friends & family who had so highly praised Royal Spa and Bob (the owner) that we bought from them. Thankfully, they drove all the way to Illinois to make the sale, install our hot tub and install our cedar building. So far, so good... Ill update when I find out more about how were treated with replacing our cracked & scary (could collapse any minute now) polycarbonate roof. Fingers crossed, holding breath!

I have contacted Royal Spa a few times over the past two years that I have owned my hot tub which, by the way, is from another manufacturer. It seems that every time I call, one of their first questions is, Is your hot tub a Royal Spa? When I say that no, it is not, the customer service temperature gauge pretty much drops to below freezing. Even something as simple as asking if they have certain chemicals in stock, if they have a general accessory, or even simply moving a hot tub to a new location, the reception is ice cold. I initially contacted them because they are close to my home, but after todays call, I think that I will be better off contacting a competitor because, you know, my hot tub is not a Royal Spa.

I’ve been interested in a hot tub for many years. I wet tested Jacuzzi, Bullfrog, & Sundance. I was impressed initially with the idea that Bullfrog was made in my home state and appeared to have a unique jet pack system. However, after the wet test I felt disappointed with Bullfrog with their lack of power from the jets. I’ve been used to getting massages for several years know and I wanted a deep tissue massage coming from the jets. With bullfrog it felt like more of a light tickle to bubbler effect in the tub. For the price I didn’t just want a tub of hot water to soak in. The upper end on Sundance felt more in line of what I was expecting, and I was just about to make the purchase after I swallowed the unexpecting price tag.Then, that night, I was searching online again and came across Royal Spa, and the YouTube videos. I had never heard of Royal Spa. I found the videos very helpful and increased my understanding of what to expect out of a hot tub. I then went back to the Sundance & Bullfrog models to compare with what I had learned from bob’s rules for buying a hot tub: non-computer, 24/7 circulation, no 2-speed pumps, etc.I decided to call Royal Spa and see if they had any local dealers in Utah. To my disappointment they hadn’t. I talked with Trent Bunch. He was very nice and helpful and very patient. I’m in retail sales and I strive to give excellent customer service. So I’m very picky and expect the same when I got shopping and I pay close attention to how I’m treated. Trent, was very informative and I didn’t feel any pressure like most salesmen. Over the course of about 3 months, going back and forth, emails & phone calls I felt more and more inclined to buy a Royal spa. I was going to be in Indiana on a company trip, Jasper. However, I didn’t have enough time to drive to Indianapolis, however, there was local dealer in Jasper that carried Royal Spa’s and they were very nice, even though I was an outsider from Utah. They didn’t have one filled with water that I could test, but I was able to look at the construction and sit in one.Even without trying, and having to pay for freight to get it all the way to Utah, and the task of setting up myself, I felt inclined to go ahead and make the purchase. I called Trent up and he helped me to get this underway. He went the extra way in answering all of my questions, putting my fears at rest and helping to encourage me that I’d be able to get it setup. It was a little extra work doing it by myself, compared to buying from a local dealer, but non of these facilities had these key items that really swayed me over to purchase from Royal Spa and have it shipped to my home where I’d have to setup myself.I’ve had the spa now for almost 3.5 months. Any issues or questions/concerns Trent has always been there to help answer. I had a few concerns with the way the access door was in place, but I was able to modify and add some windshield wing latches along the sides to help hold the access door secure. I noticed from the cool nights to the warm day, the material appeared to expand/contract and cause the door to bow out and then be tight once it cooled down.I’ve noticed some of the joints that have opened up on the outside trim that I think come Spring I can reseal with some silicone. There was a few trim pieces that seemed like they needed a few more small finish nails just to keep them tight, so while I was modifying the access door, I put a few small tacks in there. That would be one area that I would hope Royal Spa could put a little more emphasis is on some of those small outside panel details, just making sure it’s a little more solid and secure.I’ve been overall very happy with my purchase and I’ve been recommending to my family and friends that they should check out Royal Spa before they purchase any other spa or hot tub.Be sure to check them out and ask for Trent Bench. He’ll take good care of you.

I couldnt be much more disappointed than what I am. My husband dreamed of owning a spa for years. Finally, after receiving a raise at work, we decided to order the spa of our dreams. The slick salesman told us how easy it would be to take care of and showed us the benefits of the therapeutic spa that was the top of the line. We ended up ordering that one, and it was quite expensive, but we wanted quality. Much to our surprise we never heard from that man again, and a company from another town ended up delivering our spa. Immediately we began to have issues. Even though the test strip would say everything was in balance, and we followed the directions exactly as we were told, again and again we would develop a residue around the water line and the water would not be clear, but cloudy. We were told that we only needed two tablets of bromine per week, but that is not at all acceptable. I put in seven or eight every week and still our water is cloudy and often we cant even get the bromine to register on the test strip, although everything else is in the correct ranges. We didnt even receive all of the chemicals at the beginning and despite the fact that I called the owner of the company and left messages AND wrote him a letter, I have never heard one word back. We use the same swimsuits every time we get in, and they arent washed in any soap, and we take showers before we get in, but the tub consistently foams up over and over and over. Then, we have to use defoamer, and that seems to create more of a scum line, and then we add more chemicals, which seem to CREATE more foam, and then we have to defoam.....and on and on..... Although it is nice to relax in the tub at night, the constant fight to keep it clear and unfoamy is exhausting and expensive. I am not impressed with the tub or the company, and I wish I was. I had much higher hopes. We have now had our tub for about a year and a half and I truly regret it. We have been told to quit using bromine and switch to chlorine by some friends but I am unsure about it. I am just really tired.

We purchashed a spa from Sean Arnot at the Pendelton Pike and we are so happy we purchased our spa from Sean.He answered every question we had prior to buying,was not high pressure, just a perfect sales person to deal with on everything including our initial start up on chemicals and testing.He made it all so simple.Kudos to Royal Spa for having such a great person to deal with from start to finish.Steve & Shirley Cook
