In an effort to maintain brevity and avoid a long review, my experience can be summed up as frustrating at best, and crushingly disappointing at worst. I was contacted by one of the owners of the company in early March and was met with unfair recruiting practices (I was possibly already being considered for the role, but deceptively led to believe I was not creating a conflict of interest), voicemails meant for other candidates, long periods of no communication, with a job offer that never came to fruition at the peak of the ordeal in late April.I had faith that the recruiting horror-stories in the IT world were not as bad as normally described. I was sorely mistaken.
