Id been considering obtaining my MLO License but its an endless sea of information and rules that seem to change from state to state. I had no prior mortgage background before taking their 3-day webinar. I then followed their study guide and used their flash cards. After 2 weeks of studying I took the exam and passed with an 86. I highly recommend them if you are looking for solid training in order to pass the NMLS exam and become a licensed mortgage loan originator.

A good friend of mine is a very successful MLO and convinced me to change careers and try to pass the MLO exam to start working with him at his Mortgage Firm. To say I had no knowledge or experience in the mortgage industry is the understatement of the century. The educational modules helped me understand the basics of the mortgage industry and I felt ready to take the state exam. I failed the test but saw a silver lining that I was only 10 points away from passing. After my failure I emailed Kristina Talkington to see if she could assist me better grasp certain key areas I was struggling with. Kristina not only went out of her way assign me additional practice exams, she took the time to explain key aspects of specific areas I was struggling in. Ok So Im looking to take the 20 hr pre licensing test . I selected My Mortgage Trainer. Called and talked with Jim Davis. He was very helpful in getting me get the test. Explained different ways I could take it, and helped with a possible job placement. The rest of the gang was helpful also. Look no further but to take your test here.

I took the 20 hour pre licensing webinar class and as a newbie it was overwhelming to say the least. My instructor was Karina S, she was engaging and very knowledgeable. The class size was large and it was sometimes difficult for her to get through all of the questions, at which we were told to email her or try to re read the material. I attempted to email her on two different occasions and never received a response, although she acknowledged on our third day of class that it was received. That lack of support was discouraging for someone just entering the business. I left with more questions than answers. I ended up purchasing a test prep course with another company and ultimately past my test. Another reason I went with this company, and justified paying a little more than other courses that were offered, was because it stated that we would receive employment assistance. When I called and asked about that, it took three days for them to simply give me the name of a few companies that theyve worked with in my area. I was told to give them a call and see if they are hiring. I could have done that myself, I wouldnt call that employment assistance. Overall, for an established MLO their classes may suffice, but for a beginner I would look else where.

Passed both federal and state tests on the first try because of this company! Would highly recommend! Wayyyy better way to learn in my opinion.
