The Apple retail experience is fantastic. I’ve been here multiple times for both purchases and service. Their pandemic era safety measures are effective and they keep a high level of service no matter how busy they are. The ease of setting, changing, and canceling appointments is flawless. Their service is fantastic and I’ve never had to wait that long for service. Apple is amazing.
I have to question the skill, knowledge and/or integrity of the Apple store technical support staff, I called them about a month ago, if they change batteries in iPhones. They wanted to ask me a few questions before they could answer. I explained, that my phone is 4 years old and have to charge it more and more frequently. However after I answered their questions they told me that my battery works perfectly. In about a month I couldn’t even charge. my battery and could not turn on my phone. I took it to the highly trained Apple technicians in the Apple store. They informed me, that the phone is not turning on, something horrible must have happened to it, and I have to buy. a new one. Immediately he wanted to sell me a new iPhone 11. This happened on the day, when the iPhone 13 just came out to the stores. I did not understand why he thinks I should buy an old model. He finally offered me a new iPhone 13, but the info about the financing and if I could keep my old plan was so chaotic, that I ended up buying nothing there and then. The next day I took my phone to a phone repair shop, they listened what the original problem was with my phone, changed the battery and it works again perfectly. How could I trust ever the highly trained Apple technicians’ advice in the future?
Came in to the Apple store on Tuesday looking for a new phone and I believe her name was Bree she was training. She was very friendly and offered great information about which I phone to get and which one worked for me! Listened to my needs and wants and went a love and beyond helping learn how to use my new phone and went set by step! She did a great job will definitely come back such a great employee!
I feel like when you make an appointment for a 15 minute time slot, you shouldn’t have to wait in an hour long line just to pick something up… one of the many reasons I hate going to this location
Do not recommend this apple store location. Not one positive thing to say. Condescending employees. Could not help with a BRAND NEW APPLE COMPUTER that was purchased on line through the Apple website. SUPER RUDE about mask wearing and in the end said we would just need to do it online. Dont worry, we have purchased all our other apple products here for the last 20 years but never again. Why have a physical location and pay these useless employees if they cant help you and give you a friendly/inviting environment. Dont waste your time, just do it online or go to another location, trust me you cant have any worse of an experience.
I had an appointment for one phone last night. Ask the attendant to please help me he told me he didn’t have time.( I left for a few minutes to get some air.) I thought just Came back in and ask can I get help m. ( I’m waiting on a phone ( maintenance). Has anyone canceled an appointment. Needless to say the very nice Apple worker -Mr. Chase., Explain to me that he would gently help me. He proceeded to help me with my fathers phone, and new earbud. Since I had the first appointment and he was available to help me . He took time, looked, and step up and help me. (Needless to say I drive from the south side of Indy.During rush hour to make one appointment.) But the 1st person wouldn’t help, no more. Response your out of time, next client here, wow. My time was out. But, I asked another nice employee, that made me feel Like a Customer instead of an appointment. I would like to say how nice of Mr. Chase was to step up, look, help and accomplished 3 issues I had last night. You rock at your job Mr. Chase.
I’ve been having issues with my laptop and went to the store for resolution. They ended up keeping it overnight to test and update. I came back today for pick up and had such a great experience. Bradley was incredibly kind and helpful and made sure that all of my settings were correct (due to having to re-set) in order to be back to work right away. He was very thoughtful in letting me know about settings, features, and options that would allow me to work more efficiently and get the most out of my computer. Thank you so much Bradley and team!
I would not recommend going to this apple store at all. They could not replace the battery of my iPhone. Instead of fixing it, they broke it. They asked me to wait many times. I spent more than five hours waiting and doing what they told me to do. At the end I left without a phone and they do not know when I am going to get one. And they did not agree on what the final resolution to my problem was. Some of them just did not know what to do. Apple associates used to be very efficient, knowledgeable, and attentive.
After being told the wrong information by a rep on the live chat. The store honored what I was told. Had to have a Beats headphone replaced. They had one in the store. We left the store and it would not pair with my phone. Took it back to the store and they could not get it to pair. Headphones were sent out Friday 7-9 and I received them back on Tuesday 7-13. Great customer service!
Terrible experience bought new iPhone pro max had defect in the screen I drove a hour to go here to have fixed. They were calling me a liar and just bought this phone not even 3 hours ago. I called them to see if I could get this phone worked and did have my appointment at all and said they never had a employee named “ Connor“ that works here. They were rude and I ended up going to AT&T and having them replace it and say I never left the store. Worst Apple store ever
Its Apple. Experience was fine. Quick shipping and return of my laptop and was working fine. I had a new MacBook with a terrible display issue, had scan line looking issue and streaky vertical lines. They replaced the display in Texas and shipped back within 2 days. Replaced the display.
I can’t imagine how awful working retail has been during the pandemic. During my visit I watched a boomer have a melt down over having to put on a mask, and the Apple bouncer looked dead inside.Stay strong guys, we love you.
I had a great experience everyone there was nice and always willing to help you.. all these bad reviews are just shady no class people.. it not the stores fault they are busy or everyone other than you bought up all the stuff you want. Apple even has hearing employees who know sign language to talk to deaf customers, to me that’s service! Good job apple store staff, sorry you have to see all these other reviews of people who just don’t have all marbles.
HORRIBLE customer service. Couldnt answer a basic question without being condescending. Beyond disappointed. Will not be returning
Very efficient. However 60 ish % were not wearing name tags.
I went to the Apple store, not knowing I had to have an appointment. The gentleman working at the front of the line was kind enough to help me schedule an appointment and was able to get me in for the very next day. On the day of my appointment, I had the pleasure of working with Tony. I know nothing about electronics. He thoroughly answered my questions and provided explanations that I was able to understand, without making me feel inferior. He spent an appropriate amount of time looking through my device and made sure it was working properly before I left the store. 5/5 for you, Tony! You rock and I appreciate you!
The only reason I am leaving 5 stars is because Bella and Erin took AMAZING care of me. Before their help, especially Bella’s, I was hung up on by Apple’s Senior Support Specialist. HUNG UP. After talking with Bella over the phone, she went above and beyond to make the situation right. She is the only reason that this review is 5 stars. Bella, you do not know how terrible my week has been, and you created a huge bright spot. Thank you very much, truly.
The staff are great and knowledgeable. One improvement I would like is quicker wait times.
This place is ridiculous and should be a ZERO. Yes, I know it gets busy but for me to call multiple times letting phone ring and someone pick up and then hang up after I have been trying to get thru is sad. This is just abso0lue bad customer service. Apple SUCKS and should embarrassed how they treat customers. I guess because so many want the phone they figure being rude is no big deal because you have to still go if you need a receipt
Staff was very helpfl i have alzheimers i have alzheimers i have alzheimers i have alzheimers so they are gud
So to start off I understand them going back to an appointment based shopping experience but the online scheduling is hard to figure out if it’s confirmed or not. So I got there and the young man that was working the front door was so nice I told him I wasn’t sure if my appointment actually confirmed or not and he checked and even finding that it didn’t he found me an appointment time no problem. Then my experience with the sales rep was just as great he was so nice and so helpful even though I went in knowing exactly what I wanted he made sure I knew what screen to go to for the information that he needed and was just all around helpful. I said the last time I went in there to get my last phone that I will always do my upgrades at the Apple store.
Clean! I like the size of this mall plus the stores in this mall fits the area very well. I enjoyed my experience here.
I’ve had the worst experience with the 12pro max and this location in particular… No Verizon 5G always in LTE have NEVER gotten to enjoy Ultra Wideband, no ultra smooth video, and the “night mode” is sort of a joke… I usually have to fiddle with all the settings and end up turning the majority of them off because they either get over expose or make the exposure grainy… It gets super hot and stops the flash from working… My top speaker went out & waisted hours in the store being told that their “diagnostic tool” didn’t show any malfunction but after I dared to ask EVERY other customer to compare the speaker performance to mine they MAGICALLY REQUIRED it be repaired and that it NEDEED a full screen replacement and FULL TOP SPEAKER ARRAY replacement… only after having the handsome guy belittled taste in case for the device… Took days to repair and I’m still muddled with issues… Sadly called customer support and they basically gave me the run around saying their 1500$ “Pro” model needed wiped through ITunes in a computer/laptop like a 2007 iPod shuffle… and was “willing” to do express replacement which they will send you a brand new model rush shipping or available pickup in store but once received they BLATANTLY WARNED if they can’t reproduce the issue they were “going to charge me the full retail value amount on my APPLE CREDIT CARD…” Truly laughable… but sadly nothing is funny about this… I feel like I’ve been robbed… and it’s ongoing because I have only paid off 30% of the leasing payments… AppleCare s about one thing… making your life a living nightmare not addressing their faulty Chinese made equipment and billing you for two devices instead of one.
Great stores with great customer service! Good selection of unique items.
Hurry up and wait. Been to this store several times. Its managed chaos. Good thing they have plenty of floor personnel in ratio to customers because how they keep track of all the browsing people waiting for their turn after checking in must be some photo ids with store cameras. What I really dont like is for existing equipment phone repair you have to make an advance appointment and know all your technical serial # information to complete the scheduling. Thats intense sometimes, youd think theyd have a more automated data warehouse way of making it easier and seamless. The whole device backup before you should do to icloud because if you didnt theyll force you to do it at the store and wait. Once you do get a sales rep/tech theyre friendly but then they disappear behind the door and you have no clue when/if youll hear from them again. So you wait and wait. Apples got you by the stem so to speak. By the end though, particularly if you bought a product, they are good at making sure you arent missing any of your goodies. Big sigh of relieve to leave the big white store.
It’s been 2 years since I bought my macbook and iphone here, I love the products I bought here but sometimes when I’m using my macbook it reminds me of the humiliation I experienced at this store. I live in Indy but I prefer to drive and visit the apple store in Chicago rather than going to this store. I’m writing this to let you know that sometimes it’s not the products or the sales, Customer Service has a huge impact to most of the customers and yes, it’s still affecting me up to these days.
My experience today was not what i was expecting. They can be more cheerful, but they were not. There was more like hurry up than anything else. Now I understand why this store doesn’t has a 5 star reviews anymore.
Drove far to buy iPhone, then there was a huge line, they asked me if I had an appointment and I did not. Then I was told I could go onto the apple website and purchase for pickup, so that’s what I did. The pick up window was two hours later, but I waited thirty and went in. They helped me purchase some accessories and sent me on my way. Great customer service and a convenient experience.
I went in with a phone that just shut off, the wait wasnt long at all, Ben helped me and he was very informative and personable and he solved my issue. Walked in with a problem, walked out and problem was solved. Thank you Ben!
Looks small but its a nice size mall more store than it looks like on the out side
I had an appointment because my new phone wasn’t working right. I had to wait for hours sitting while they gave priority to people buying new stuff. Sick strategy to loop in people and then not give them importance. Apple you need to step up on your customer service atleast for your existing customers.
The folks their were terrific. Although they required a scheduled time to look at my daughters iPhone, I was able to schedule a time through Apples 800 number within a half hour of me stopping by the Apple store. They were able to resolve the problem very well. Special kudos go out to the security guards that crowd moving.
Nice mall alot bigger than it looks
Rudest people ever, not sure how they select their employees in this store, everyone here are rude. Worst place to shop and look for answers for your problems. You spend thousands of your money in the products and they have no customer service whatsoever. Bad experience overall.
Not my kind of place. I only go because my wife uses apple products. I will keep my non-apple products.
Wow! Ashley was most amazing in working with me to get my Mac book up and runningHer ability to serve multiple customers at the same time and answer questions from co-workers is unbelievable.
I made an appointment today online. Showed up on time. I was told to get in line behind around 20 people. I made an appointment because I am busy. I wasted 45 minutes driving to an appointment that they “sort of hold to”. I purchased a different brand from Amazon with free shipping without any hassle from the parking lot. I bet Blockbuster wishes they had made different decisions not so long ago. It really is a shame.
Update: After reviewing my issue further, Apple and the Apple store determined that my device needed to be replaced. This completely satisfied my issue and restored my view of Apple service. Thank you Apple.Unfortunately, this store doesn’t provide the expected Apple service.
Its a nice mall. Maybe even better, since COVID kept is on lockdown!
It was good and there was line but took me about 15 mins to meet someone
Horrible experience! Dont know where to start.
Stood in line to get an appointment time left came back at my appointment time put me back at the end of the line I asked about the appointment time and they said they follow it loosely that the people that are in line in front of me can have later appointments Time but they’re in line it’s enough to make me go back to my Microsoft don’t think it’s worth it in the long run. Nothing should be this complicated.
Sorry for the long read.Honestly, I met a lot of kind people here. And they helped me a lot. (I especially liked the man who helped me at first. He was so nice and empathetic. His name is James by the way!) However, I really care about customer service and manners more than just fixing my computer. There was a lady who really just treated me with no respect, used a condescending tone, and tried to explain things to me as if I was a child. I was so upset that she was the reason that I just had to give 1 star on this review. I was told that it would be cost free to fix my computer one day, and then I had to call back MYSELF to be told that it would be $80 to fix it the next day. I dont mind if it costs money, and $80 is also not a lot to fix a computer compared to other fixes, which I understand. Despite the cost, I wanted to understand the situation without just diving in. But she interpreted that as Oh, shes too poor to even pay $80? This is the CHEAPEST option. Do you not trust that your computer doesnt need this cable to be fixed? We wouldnt give you options that arent going to solve your solution. She had no empathy and even laughed at a question I asked. I understand that I dont know a lot about computers or the process of fixing one, but I wish she just explained it in a way that didnt make me feel so dumb. I believe she is a manager named Jeff or Jeth (I couldnt really hear her name). Even if shes not a worker at this store, as a human being with morals and ethics, she should have known better than to treat a customer like that. Apple, I hope you do something about these people because they really make your customers upset and never wanting to come back here.Tl;drThe manager treated me like a child who didnt know anything and used a condescending tone. She couldve answered my questions simply without saying hurtful words. Thats why this review has a 1 star.
Hurry and wait!!! Fire hazard as only one way in and one way out. Will not let you show up any more then 5 mins before appointment. Only here because their product is junk and won’t except a SIM card. One whole day of my life gone trying to resolve this issue. They don’t make it easy
This guyes was no understand my prblem i buy new i phone 12 pro max on april 4 2021 when i gose home and open my i phone box is lital bend on my iphone i come back next day he saw its no posible phone is bend he saw to me if you like to return it you will be pay 599$
They no longer take phone calls in store. It reroutes you to their apple care line, and the apple care employees cannot answer generic questions about what a store can do for you right now. Terrible customer service.
I don’t understand why they are a lot of hateful comments on here; you cannot make people happy nowadays. I give this store a 5 star rating because the Apple reps were extremely helpful and took care of everything I needed done. I’m not from Indianapolis and went in the store for the first time ever with a 27” inch 5K iMac desktop computer with a software problem and they fixed it without any issue. They were very careful of handling the computer and my situation. There is security and there is a little bit of a wait due to COVID-19, but they take extreme measures to get you to the rep at the booth you need to talk to. The security and the Apple reps handled everything professionally and with a positive attitude. Scheduled an appointment on the “Apple Support App” from the App Store perfectly fine. Highly recommend this store and trust them 100%. I would gladly go back again. Trust me on this if you’re confused about going to this location.
Beautiful mall with literally everything in it. So basically it is in One Stop Shop
Like the place but its unbelievable you cant go there without an appointment! They need to figure that out its just a the phone store.
Went to pickup an item for someone else, and the order was never finalized....an online order. Need to step up your online protocol... everything was verified...no reason for the item not to be delivered....the email never came...verified with customer service...all good....order was in limbo....not good apple. The customer service was excellent she tried everything she could on the phone... kudos for that.
Always easy peasy and friendly
I love the Apple Store. I rather go to them then take the chance on going to someone else and they mess up my phone. I know theres a small wait period but they have always grab me for my appts on time and finish my phone when I was told they would.
Every visit to this store ends with one thing: A satisfied customer.Products fail, especially something that is in your pocket / purse and tossed around. Every time I’ve gone in to get my phone or laptop fixed, they’re quick, professional and resolve my issues. There’s things you need to know... Don’t go in without an appointment. This isn’t Best Buy. They are extremely busy, especially since they are the only Apple Store within a hundred miles. If you go in without an appointment, you’re going to have a bad day. Also, there are hundreds of combinations of applications and hardware you can install. No one can know everything, you go in there having an issue with some obscure third party app, don’t expect them to know how to fix it. The majority of time, they only have the same information about a app that you can find yourself. Don’t fault them for not knowing everything.Overall; its a great store with friendly staff, and after visiting this store a few dozen times, I’ll continue to go back.
Very nice but very pricey
I don’t feel the same way about apple like they used to be. Hard to make appointment and the phone have problem before one year use
Usual wait time but unable to purchase anything due to pos system being down.
Went to pickup an item for someone else, and the order was never finalized....an online order. They just cancel order without communicating.Need to improve on your online protocol... everything was verified...no reason for the item not to be delivered....the email never came...verified with customer service...all good....order was in limbo....terrible service. The customer service was excellent she tried everything she could on the phone... kudos for that.
Broken Ipencil STILL UNDER WARRANTY....was denied the warranty due to small nick in the cap that covers the USB charging port, confimed with manager that the nick was cosmetic and ageeed, still denied the warranty....Unbelievably HORRIBLE customer service... completely obtuse!
For once or was a good experience going to the Apple store. The guy who took care of our problem was polite, very knowledgeable about his product. I am not an apple person so I was expecting the worst, but Fred, helped us through our problem easy.
The staff was rude, unprofessional, and taking out their anger from previous customers on the people in line. They were belligerent. Would insist that they answered the customers question when they hadn’t. They were absolutely awful to every customer I heard them talk to. I understand the frustrations of Covid. Non-apple stores and staff seems to manage politely and professionally. No excuse for their behavior especially when they were clearly overstaffed. Minimum of 16 employees standing in a group talking to each other. The customers were obviously interrupting their social hour
Stood around to long before I had to go and ask for help. Then once I found out that I had to check in, the two people after me got waited on first before I did.
As an avid Apple user, I’m super thankful for the fact that there is an Apple store in my city. It’s a huge plus because I refuse to take my Apple products anywhere else, even if they call themselves a “certified” place. With that said, this place is always crowded. With the new store having opened this summer 2017, it definitely helps make things feel less clasterpohibic and I keep wondering how they managed it before. For the most part, we’ve always experienced good customer service and help when needed. One thing they aren’t particularly good at is keeping their time commitments. If you have an appointment, plan to get there early. If you get there one second past your scheduled time, you can forget your appointment and have to reschedule another one. But, they are never on time. The plus side of that is once it is your turn, they are usually pretty good about taking their time and not rushing you through the appointment, so that’s probably why the time delay for them to get to you. One of my only complaints with Apple products is that their charging cords are terribly made. I hope they change them to make them hold up better. The plastic/rubber material always splits and leaves wires exposed where they meet the hard plastic casings on each end. Other than that and the fact the the phones are really only made to last a year, basically forcing you to get a new one every time one comes out, I don’t have any complaints.
Was able to pickup even at a time different from my appointment. Photogenic place.
Precious did everything she could for us, but Apple is such a fad, they dont care about really taking care of the customers. Her hands were tied. The rest of the staff were extremely rude, this is why I use Android.Update: My Dad still has not been helped by Apple whatsoever. Theyve promised to replace the phone 3 times and havent followed through. His phone is now locked as well as his tablet, for the last 3 months. Makes a very expensive coaster. No faith in a company named after fruit.
Was great customer service and very knowledgeable
I placed an online order for an iPad and selected the pick up option, and got an email saying I would be notified when the iPad was ready to pick up at the Keystone store. I received a text at 6:03PM saying my order was ready for pickup. I arrived at 6:21PM and the store was closed. Google Maps said their pickup was available until 7PM.You guys need to get your act together. I wasted an hour of my time driving there and waiting just trying to figure out what to do.
Its not a store anymore! It looks like a foreign country embassy!!! This is Ridiculous.. i’ve spent thousands of dollars throughout the years in this store. They treat you like an arrogant rich person would treat a homeless person. They are taking advantage of the pandemic to save money and force us to go online.
Great customer service and no wait.
This store is a joke anymore. I’ve spent thousands of dollars in this store personal and business. We drove over 1-1/2 hours to get here. Got on the website and seen they were open till 7:00pm. Drove up to make our purchase after we tried calling 4-5 times to verify they were open as usual. We arrived and there was a line out the door. We stood in line then someone came up and asked if we had a appointment, No, didn’t know we had to. Didn’t say on your Google page or site and no one would answer the phone to give any answers. I will not waste my time anymore with this location and wish they would open a different store closer to Bloomington.
Got a really good price on the iPhone 12 pro max.
Great service. Courteous employees.
Long, pretentious lines. It is unfortunately the only Apple repair in a large reason.Dosent excuse the wannabe night club vibe. Staff was friendly and knowledgable, but mostly ended up referring us to order our products, repairs or have them ship us ONLINE. Defeating the purpose of the Apple Bar!I just saved you an hour of your life. Youre Welcome!
Went to buy an iPad and Apple Watch on Sunday November 15th. Was told I had to make an appointment for Monday to do that. I was not buying a Picasso, just a tablet and a watch. I understand the young man was just doing his job but he was acting very pretentious. I do not see either myself or my wife going in there in the future. This is unfortunate because I had had good experiences in the past.
Fast easy good customer service
Awesome store must do
Terrible. I would give a negative if I could. If you need a phone repaired just go to a reputable IPhone or computer repair shop. The Apple Store won’t even attempt to fix your phone. All they care about is selling you a new one. They will make up any excuse to say your phone isn’t repairable just to put you on the spot to make you buy a new phone. I brought my phone in for what ended up being a very simple repair (just needed a new screen), and the Genius Bar people lied and told me my phone had water damage (which it didn’t) as an excuse to not fix my phone. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else!
Clueless representative at the door. I needed to drop off a device for repair. The guy at the door had no clue what to do. He told me to make the request online. I am now chatting with a representative online, who tells me the easiest thing to do is to drop the device off at an apple store!
Fantastic at everything they do, top to bottom
Julio was awesome! I had a lot of issues and had to come back for a second day, but he made sure I got the help I needed, and explained everything to me. As someone who isn’t too tech savvy, his patience and input was greatly appreciated, thank you!
Bad customer service. I understand that there’s a pandemic currently but I literally just wanted to buy a charger. I would have been in and out. They told me to go home and schedule an appointment when they had about 10 techs just standing there not helping anyone. I hate this place!
Very nice and clean mall, but didnt see any mall maps.
The best thing about this location is the Apple employee named Lexy (I think). Best customer service Ive ever had. Shes friendly, knowledgeable, and Im pretty sure Ive seen her stand up at Black Achre before and it was hilarious.
Not sure why there are only bad reviews on here . Apple, especially this store has done nothing but go above and beyond anytime I’ve been in. AppleCare + is a big help, but I’ve never had a bad experience and probably have had to replace or repair 5 phones over the course of being an Apple customer
All appointments made in-person are scheduled 3+ hours out, even if I wanted to make a quick 5-minute size comparison and purchase of the new watch bands. If I can’t trust the paper sizer given online and I can’t try it on in the store, I guess Apple won’t be getting my money on a new band.
Love you guys so much, glad everyone is okay. we appreciate you all! 💓
HORRIBLE.What a huge disappointment. Service people just standing behind the glass, unable to answer any questions. Their first question to you Do you have an appointment?. Make appt online but no one adt the store can or will talk to you about products or service. Sure this COVID thing is happening, but a business should display customer service. Horrible
Was forced to wear a silly civility badge even though I had my own face covering.Very fast service though
Great indoor place for a walk with a little kid! Plenty of exercise going from one escalator to the next!
Maybe I am too old to shop here, but my experience at the Apple store was less than good. Walked into the store to trade in phones and purchase new ones. A nice lady took my name and that was the last we heard from anyone for twenty minutes. Not my best experience. I think they may be more interested in up selling to people and not customer service.
I can always rely on my preferred Sales Specialist at the Apple Keystone location. Jenna always comes to the rescue when I am in need of immediate Apple care. She is willing to assist even when she is not on the clock. Thanks, Jenna!
Looked up the product I want online and said it was in stock at this location. Go on my lunch break and wait in line for 20 mins and when it was finally my turn, they said the product was out of stock. Walking to my car, I look back online and order the product for pick up. By the time I got back from work the product was ready for pick up. Wasted my time. Poor customer service. Train your employees to actually look to see if the product is available.
Good concern for social distancing.
Always a line to get in.
