Joseph at this Enterprise location is without a doubt fantastic! He is the reason I always rent from this location and always rent from Enterprise. I have rented from this location four or five times in the past year and the vehicles are always in spotless condition - but let’s face it when renting a car, well it a car. It really is about customer service and Joseph’s positive, genuinely helpful attitude is what makes this location the best. All of the employees that have helped me with rental cars at this location are five star + I wish 10 stars was an option because Enterprise in Indian Trail deserves it.
This company is horrible. I will NEVER use Enterprise again and I have been a customer since the 90’s. This is how they treat long-time customers:For the third time in a year, they stood me up for a car that I reserved. Specifically, it is the Enterprise location at 13711 East Independence Blvd. in Indian Trail, NC. I could have lost a huge account this time because I had no large vehicle to use to drive out of town for a business meeting (my car wouldn’t hold everything I needed to take with me).This time, I reserved a vehicle on April 8th for an April 27th rental. Thats almost 3 weeks ahead of time!!!!! I wanted to be sure I gave them plenty of time to hold a car for me. I got a confirmation email on April 8th and then only 2 days before I was set to leave, on April 25th, I got another email stating Well see you soon (a reminder email).On the day I was to get the rental, I was called on my cell phone a mere 25 minutes before I was ready to leave to get the car and was told they had no vehicle for me. I had to travel to WVA from south Charlotte to meet with a client and now, in the eleventh hour, Im told by their employees that they actually DIDNT have a car for me?! Thats insane!!!! What the hell was the reservation for? Why did they confirm it? Why did they send me a reminder email 2 days before?Their explanation? We have priority for our insurance customers before you.I have been a life-long customer, but no more. I am now using AVIS.Reminds me of the old Seinfeld episode about a car rental company which didn’t know how to keep a reservation. Apparently they were mocking Enterprise.Update 8/3/2021 - Someone from Enterprise did contact me after they saw my negative review. They said they would pass it along to upper management. Never heard from anyone after that. So disingenuous. But based on other reviews, I am not alone. This is their pattern - to try and make it look like they are being sincere in trying to resolve the problem when they really have no intention of making it right.
Should have took a better look at mini van. Front was clean assuming the rest was good. Back was crummy and stained. Terrible. I’m now cleaning this vehicle inside. It’s a real shame.
I wouldn’t even give one star. Had a reservation setup through a closer enterprise location and they didn’t have a “comparable” vehicle, they checked with the Indian Trail location, who said they had a vehicle available. Here’s the catch, they wanted me to bring them an SUV from the Monroe location to swap, I told them I wasn’t going to be their transport driver that I would get myself to Indian Trail and just rent the vehicle, they could leave me out of the mix otherwise. Insurance changed my reservation to Indian Trail, I called to let them know I was on my way, the gentleman I spoke to confirmed that a vehicle of appropriate size would be waiting. Great-NOT! The manager called me back herself to inform that because I wasn’t bringing them the SUV from the other location that the vehicle is now unavailable. I was livid!! That manager was so unprofessional, I can’t believe how she dealt with this that it’s surprising she is even a manager. I will NEVER RECOMMEND them to anyone, but I will be sure to say why.

I dont know how this location got good reviews. We rented 2 times in the last 4 weeks and had issues on both rentals. The 1st was rented last weekend of October. Picked up the car on Saturday and returned Sunday to same location. Rental agent said he would only charge for 1 day. The $200 deposit went back in 2 days later but I had to call to ask why we were charged for 2 days. That was corrected and deposited back into our account the next day. This last rental was for 2 days. The charge was $362.05. This showed up on bank account 1st. Then the following day a charge for $138.62. I called 2 days later to customer service to find out what was going on. I could barely understand the guy because he had a HEAVY accent. I understood that he saw the mistake and said money would be deposited back in our account. I have to call again 3 days later and customer service agent asks for my phone number and says a regional VP will contact me ASAP. I did not get a call. Now it is 2 days later I call corporate and they are very polite and apologize, take my email address and phone number and tell me someone will get in touch with me. Maybe an hour or so passes and my wife sends a text to say she finally got an email and it is just the invoice. The invoice they sent has the $362.05 added in as a refund..... like that was the deposit? Seriously? I am looking at my account right now and it is not in there. I am going to call the BBB. I thought it was just this location but apparently it is the company. We want our money back right now!
I found two AR 15 bullets and a ski mask. Great job on cleaning out the car. No this isn’t a joke.
The car & service was fine. However, whoever used this car last was a heavy smoker. It took several days to get the smell out.

Rental was fine until return. Needed a lift 1 mile down the highway. They had no one to drop me off. This was a Friday around 11:30-noon and only 1 person on site. Needless to say I walked the 1 mile along the highway where there were no sidewalks. A little scary.
Most car rental experiences aren’t much worth any time to give a review, good or bad. It’s a service that is a means to an end. But this Enterprise location in Indian Trail NC was a pleasure to work with the two times I needed a rental. Navina in particular was nice, polite and easy going and really made the experience stress free and a breeze. They offer a customer drop off at home service and went outside the company’s 15 minute radius, which I really appreciated as well.Don’t shop around, go straight to Enterprise in Indian Trail!
While my rental experience was quick and painless; I caution people who are very sensitive to call ahead and be sure to ask for a Non Smoking car because I ended up with a stinky beast. thanks** My next rental was worse smelling and also found under the seats a cigarette, lighter, plastic wrapping and a bullet case in the trunk.

This location recently changed managers and since Kristin has taken over there Has been an amazing improvement. Customer service increased and the cars are much cleaner. If you ever need a rental I recommend this location.
I was in a car accident and the insurance paid for me to get car here. Hailey is the one I was dealing with. I’m angry because the debited my account instead of waiting on additional payment from the insurance. DID NOT CALL ME TO INFORM ME OF THIS!!! I had bills going through my account and she could care less!! Never this place again.

Absolutely a nightmare. The agent who rented me the car failed to markThe damage and assured me that it wasn’t a big deal. Well that turned out to be a lie and they are now claiming I damaged the car. They tried to fileMy car insurance before they ever called to ask me about the supposed damage. Instead they charged my CC fraudulently. The manager is has no business in her position as she all but called me a liar and refused to provide her managements contact info. It’s not over yet.
I had an appointment to pick up the car at 8am but when I called to find out when I was going to be picked up I was told that it wouldnt be until 8:30-8:45. I found my own ride.When I got to the E office at 8am there was one person in the office. I stood in line for 20 min and was told that the car would be checked and vacuumed and brought around. 15 min later the car was brought out front where we spent another 10 minutes walking around the car inspecting it and me signing the agreement.Even though my company encourages us to use E as a preferred vendorI will be using another rental company and heres why:When I have a 8am appointment I walk into their office, the paperwork is already done and in a folder that Im handed w/ the keys. The car is pointed out and Im on the road. All in a total of 2 minutes.Another practice that ONLY E does is giving you a car w/ an unknown amount of gas in it. It could be half a tank, less, more, you never know.Youre expected to bring it back w/ the same amount. Not an easy task. Bizarre practice. With this particular rental I was not even 10 miles from the rental office when the low gas light went on.I gave 2 stars vs 1 because Es employees are always friendly and helpful. They just follow a process that needs to be streamlined.
I rent a car bi-monthly to run errands, doctors appointments, etc. I will now come exclusively to this location. The staff is attentive and communicative while maintaining a highly friendly demeanor consistently. They go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need.

Enterprises standard of customer service is great in general but this locations is at a whole different level! Smoothest experience Ive had so far with rental cars! Plus the place was spotless and smelled nice also!

Taylor was so helpful. We rented the car for a week ended up keeping it for a month. He never changed words when I would call to extend or change cars which I did 3 times. This has to be the friendly enterprise I have ever been to. Taylor is great. No matter how busy he was he always found the time to return my calls or took the time to speak with me when i would call there. I would recommend Enterprise of Indian Trail again and again.
Very nice! Everyone was very polite and everything went very smoothly. The picked me up at Love Field, they found the car I was very happy with and bringing it back was very easy and took me back to Love Field very quickly.
Lockport N Y car rental enterprise gives the best service hands down. Being a truck driver gives me an opportunity to use enterprise services in several cities and states. They are happy to pick you up or drop you back home.
I was extremely impressed with Griffins customer service skills. I have been in the retail sales industry for a few years and I know when someone has that special quality. I observed how he completely catered to the customers needs and was very respectful, knowledgeable and patient. Kuddos to this young man! He is definitely the epitome of going above and beyond for the clientele. His energy and confidence reflected that he was excited to be there and eager to help the customer fulfill their comfort needs.
The Enterprise in Indian Trail, NC was very difficult to deal with while my car was being repaired. It was being covered by another person‘s insurance company who had hit me. I got called weekly by Kristen regarding payments and so forth. It was very bothersome even when situations were explained to Kristen numerous times. She hung up on me twice. On the other hand, Kimdrick was excellent. Also, their car selection was not the greatest.
This was the first time Id had to rent a car and I was apprehensive. I was treated very well and picked up at the car repair place and driven to the car rental place. The only reason for the 4 star instead of 5 was because I had to get a larger car than I would have preferred, though I was not charged the larger car price. It was really nice that I could leave the rental at the repair car place when I got my car back. I recommend Enterprise.

For having just opened the day before I arrived to get my vehicle they were running very efficiently. I was given top notch service and the agent really seemed to care about my rental experience. He even asked how my trip was when I returned the vehicle the next day. I truly enjoyed this experience and I look forward to renting from this location again.

Not happy - was called after I returned the car saying there was damage. Told the agent I didnt know anything about it. Was told I would receive a call back. Never did. Now Im getting an email from the damage department wanting my insurance information. Well see how it gets settled.
The car was not ready we had to wait it was very dirty both inside and out. This isnt the first time it just seems to get worse as we rent.. Maybe we should start looking else where😞 the employees are friendly but they need help getting the cars cleaned considering the amount of MONEY they charge
First, would like to know why agencies in different states do not require you to have utility bill, yet NC does. Second - Will NEVER deal with this location again although we have rented multiple times from this location in the past.Dealt with Chrissy who states she is one of the managers at this location. She argues about reservation process not reflecting actual inventory. Tells us to take a truck, all she has, but locates a compact vehicle after I decline the truck; never offered until I ask for size specifically. She then becomes argumentative over the issue that we needed utility bill after being informed by representatives last two transactions we do NOT need these items to rent vehicle. Rental at this location was $110 avg for standard but at Matthews location only $65. After stating she would probably not have vehicle - remember its all she has as far as cars - when we come back due to steady business this morning, Chrissy would not offer to reserve the vehicle or hold it for us to run back home, returning with documents.This manager acted more like an agent with excuses, never assuming ownership and also never utilizing customer service skills with trying to make the situation better. In fact, we had asked for reps name who assisted us last transaction at the location multiple times but upon leaving she states the person no longer works there; never offering name. She doesnt state who she is until I state we will call back and speak to manager because we didnt agree with how it was handled. She then states, I am one of the managers. SHE DIDNT ACT LIKE IT?I am a former RSM, multiple locations. I have seen her attitude and I can honestly say its because we didnt agree with her to make it easy on her. Well, we didnt make it hard but wanted what we had agreed upon. We wanted the product and service we have received previously. I can honestly say we left feeling disgusted and targeted because we expect more, not less! She didnt try to fix anything, improve our interaction AT ALL and thats why I state she didnt act like a manger! We will NEVER go back to that location and suggest you call the Matthews location if you need service. Youll receive a rep who at least tries to make you happy, help you and wants your business; not like you are on someone elses time - Chrissys! Leave them alone!
So Enterprise on Independence in Charlotte is willing to pick me up in Indian Trail when I need a car, but I’m out of their 5 mile take home radius when I return a car?????What a joke!!!!So they say, when you have a positive experience with a company you tell few people,a negative experience and you tell many!

Everyone at the Enterprise rental in Indian Trail was wonderful. I couldnt believe I got a car with 1 hours notice.
I had to use their rental service, because theyre connected with the Chrysler Dealership, when it comes to getting your car serviced. So I used the rental car for the day and decided to go golfing. It was time to return the vehicle that same day, but I left my golf club set in the back of the trunk. A few weeks went by, when I realized that I didnt have my golf clubs. We called them up to see if they had seen them, the guy on the phone said that he seen some floating around. But he didnt know where they could have put them, because he doesnt normally work at that facility. We called the next day and low and behold the manager told us that she had not seen any at all. The crazy part is, they called to ask me how the service was, knowing they had my clubs and couldve been honest and said I forgot them in the trunk of the car. This place has know integrity and are dishonest, when it comes to customer service. I would never use their service and will just take my vehicle to another Chrysler facility so I can avoid them at all costs.
I was extremely satisfied with the service that I received from this branch of Enterprise. I have long been a customer but this time my rental was unscheduled and untimely. I was assisted quickly and with respect in every way. When a glitch appeared the manager assisted and I was on my way. Thank you Enterprise!

Enterprise was a go to rental for clean, reliable cars. This was not our experience. The car was to be a non smoker car but after the heat of the day it was clear that others smoked in it. The front bumper was a reflection of a car in a serious accident. It was painted so quickly and cheaply that the paint was flaking off in huge chunks, the tires and brakes were obviously on their last legs. We were in a rush and took the car for its blue tooth capabilities and size. Enterprise was a huge dussapoito us. Multiple complaints were made and no one cared to respond, this is not the enterprise I had trusted in the past.
The staff was able to get my car quickly after I came by to pickup and gave me a ride home after I returned the car. Reasonable price and plan to use again if prices are reasonable.
Never had a bad experience have used them multiple times over the years always professional and willing to help, the fact they will come pick you up sets them above the rest.
Shain was very personable and genuine. He listened to my concerns and answered questions patiently. The drivers that took me to and from Collision Specialties down the street were polite and punctual - I never waited more than 5 minutes for a ride. They work closely with Geico (my insurer) and I never had to worry how/if all this was covered because they took care of everything for me. I rented a newer Camry from them and was very pleased with it. There werent any hidden fees (just a refundable $50 security deposit that I got back) or any trouble when I returned the vehicle --- A seamless transaction from start to finish and a delightful experience I would recommend to friends and family if they ever needed a rental.
Will never rent from this location again. The lady that works there is a ghetto mess and very unprofessional. She gets angry when you try and ask a question. I spent $1300 renting from this location, and not once did they call me to upgrade or anything. Not to mention they were running my card without authorization. After charging me different amounts, they said they didnt see these charges from 2 weeks ago on their end, but I showed them my online banking transactions and they said IF it was a mistake on their end they would check into it. Chauncey was very professional, and knowledgeable, But I think someone needs to check the books. Something shady is going on here!

Awful experience. Reserved a truck (need truck for work) 2 weeks in advance, triple checked it would be there the morning I was to pick it up (since this particular location did not have a truck) and was promised it would be in. Show up this morning and no truck. They then send me to another location that has a truck. They tell me No truck there either. Yet they give a truck to another customer as Im at the counter. This branch sends me to another location. On my way there now. Hopefully they have a truck?What a joke

Bait and switch -- buyer beware.Tried to charge me an extra $70 to take the car out of state. Didnt quote that anywhere that I saw on their website.To make it worse, the attendant (Chip Hayes) was INCREDIBLY RUDE. Beyond obstinate. Enterprise apparently employs people who dont like doing their job on Saturday mornings.Been renting cars for 31 years. Never ever have I been treated this badly.
Stopped in today to reserve a car for Saturday and next week. I was immediately greeted a nice friendly customer service person who was very helpful.
Just rented a car from here for the first time. They were very professional and prompt and seemed to care about customer service. It was good enough service to stand out, and Ill be using this location for future rentals.
