I had a very unique electrical problem that was never diagnosed correctly from the Dodge Dealership. After multiple trips and multiple fees for diagnosis I finally made my way to Indian Trail imports. They took the time necessary, thoroughly diagnosed and repaired the problem the first time. It was the oddest problem with a wiring harness in the steering wheel that overheated and would turn the air-conditioning off. That is the worst problem to have in a hot Charlotte summer. Josh and his team are the best. A fair price for a service that is worth so much more. It seems the only time I have a problem with one of my four vehicles it is elusive to the dealership. I just purchased a 2006 Lexus RX 330 for my daughter. The car has 187,500 and has been well maintained over the years and I have all the records. I brought the car to Josh to check all fluids, look the car over and suggest anything that needed attention . He said car was in great shape which I felt would be the case but its always makes you feel confident after professionals go over it with a fine tooth comb. He stated some fluids need to be changed but can do over the next 15 to 20,000 miles as I come in for oil change. Things like transfer case, rear differential, transmission fluid, power steering . So I can spread those items out. Josh and Joshua are great men, they love what they do and they enjoy people . A close friend of mine referred me to them and he said their our kind of people . He was telling the truth . I know my cars will be in great hands going forward . Places like this are difficult to find, no need to look further . Thanks Josh and Joshua .

My son and I had flown into NC to pickup a Porsche and we were preparing to drive back to Michigan when the Check Oil light came on. Even though Indian Trails was closed, they opened their shop on a Friday night and were able to source and replace a faulty part on the Saturday, so we could drive back the Sunday. Not only were they incredibly responsive, it was clear that they really understood the nuances of German engineering. Mike was the main person I interacted with, and from start to finish he provided excellent customer service.My car had an issue with its Evaporative Emissions Valve and hoses. Not only did Mike take the time to explain what this meant, he also gave me time to do my own research and was very low pressure. After some additional research I felt comfortable trusting this fix to their team.Once the work was complete, I was happy to receive a full print off of all the work that was done, and an itemized breakdown of costs.Will definitely be back and highly recommend their services!

Theyre often very busy and repairs can take time, which sucks, HOWEVER theyre worth it. I bought my first diesel car and it came with a few issues that werent disclosed. Mike is awesome with taking time to explain the issues and repair process and Josh took the time to help me better understand how a diesel differs from other cars. I appreciate their hard work!

Our 2003 Miata is our fun car, and we didnt want to take it just anywhere. But at 17 years old, with only 62k miles on it, we knew it needed a timing belt, and probably a number of other things and didnt want to take it to the dealer - we wanted someone who would care for it the way we do. My Lexus CT200 became very loud and rattling, especially at highway speeds. The dealer told me wheel bearings were wearing out - quoting me ~$1,000 to fix it. I went to another mechanic and he did a wheel alignment but the noise persisted.Josh found the problem right away - my tires had been wearing on the inside, creating flat surfaces and tread was almost gone - which made driving unsafe & very loud. He showed me exactly what was causing it and said I needed to replace front tires (even told me Costco was running a deal on tires) and said I had about 10K left on back tires. I am writing all this - because I want you to know hes a good and honest person! And Mike was really great too - everyone is so friendly and helpful. Theyve worked on my husbands XJ6 and did a great job and very fair pricing.They are worth the wait of scheduling an appointment up to a couple of weeks out.

I was in today to do yearly preventive maintenance as well as to look at an oil leak. After telling my technician what was scheduled, he asked me what kind of service history my car had. I had just bought this car used, so recent service history was unknown, but I figured it would be better to do it early than too late. He analyzed my brake fluid (for free!) and told me that my fluid was good and I did not need it replaced. This mechanic actually told me I DIDNT need service! This level of honesty increased my respect for this place immensely!I did have an oil leak, and it was fixed without too much fuss. My mechanic went the extra mile and cleaned my engine bay to get rid of the leaky oil as part of the service.Prices are extremely fair for the level of service you get. I cannot recommend these guys any higher for BMW service. These guys have a customer for life.

I had to wait over a week to drop my car off but I saw this as a positive, they must be really good and in demand. I was right, this place is one of the best that Ive used. They are incredibly knowledgeable, very thorough, and have great communication with you during the repair process. I was told up front what the repairs would cost (estimate) and that depending on what they run into during the repair that it could go up, or down. I appreciated the communication and honesty. I took my Volvo to have the battery checked after it didnt start one morning. The mechanic was able to determine that the battery was defective and even though I had it replaced a year or two earlier at the Volvo dealership, he was able to get a new battery under warranty at no charge. I was extremely surprised and grateful. Will be coming back here from now on!!

This is important in the modern day since so many routine repairs carry more drama than necessary because the quality of parts used is bad. Any mechanic can diagnose the problem and install the part. The alternator, battery or starter used makes the difference here. They only recommend parts that they know will work well. This may mean the alternator they recommend costs more than average because they know 80% of replacement alternators are the same, poorly rebuilt in the same factory in some distant land and then resold by numerous brand names (some premier brands as well). They know who is selling the 10 or 20% that are worth installing, why they are different and worth any additional expense.
