I was told they’d be here between 10-1. I took the day off because two windows were in my office and I work from home. At 12:45 I get a call telling me they’re not coming out because it’s raining where they were at, but it never rained here. About 30 minutes later I get a call from his supervisor asking if I was the one who wanted to cancel. I said no, I took the day off for this, it’s not raining, I want it done. He said he would call the team and call me back. He never called me back. I called and asked for an update. They had to reach out to the supervisor and leave a message - I never heard back. I called again for an update about an hour later and was told my appointment wasn’t canceled, they hadn’t heard back but someone should be here. More time goes by, I don’t hear anything. At 4 pm, they showed up unannounced. A guy and a girl. The girl tells me they’re married and he’s training her - they were fighting a lot of the time and they were slow. Didn’t leave until 9:30 pm and they left broken glass in my yard, the job wasn’t done. He said he’d be back by Friday to finish the job (this was on a Monday). By Thursday I never heard back so I called and complained. They sent someone out to finish the job on Friday - they did a better job and I was happy with the outcome after they were done - one guy told me I would get a discount but I got charged the full amount. I also was told a supervisor would come out to check their work but I of course never heard back about that either - nobody came to check. I heard nothing but great things about window world but my experience sucked and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

We have a 100+ year old house with a majority of the windows being original. The team was 15 minutes earlier than the estimated time given, had 20 windows completely done and cleaned up in just a few hours. The crew was amazing, funny and made the entire process look like they do it in their sleep. No mess left, everything was cleaned up and Casey even gave a short demonstration at the end. Beautiful windows and Im so excited to enjoy them!

I have used Window World in the past and would have recommended them. Something has changed, I ordered windows and doors after we moved to our current house It took them 3 visits for the doors because they were not measured right, I have just had my 8th and hopefully final visit on the windows, problems included windows too big, windows too small, windows broken in transport, windows had wrong grids, not once, not twice, but 3 times, 4th time was a charm on grid patterns. So they schedule a time to install, didnt show up or even call, finally a supervisor came and installed them. It took about 7 or 8 months to do a job that should have been done in 2. Ridiculous!!! I think the biggest slap in the face was even though the job was not finished they billed my card, so yes to protect my credit rating Ive been paying on a job not done. What it tells me is Window World used to be about the customer and service, now they are about the money. At this time I can not recommend Window World, I suggest they go back to the old model of customer first.

We had windows and exterior doors replaced by Window World of KC over a year ago. Rather than write a review right away we wanted to see how they performed. Quite frankly, they have performed exceptionally well! What everyone wants to know if our utility bills have been reduced. Without a doubt they have been reduced appreciably. Other advantages we gained from the new windows and doors are outside noise reduction, increased amount of light into the home, curb appeal and increased resale value.

Had windows installed a few years ago and love them. Just recently had an issue with one window pain. I called window world and explained the issue and they said they would take care of that window once they ordered it from manufacturer. I told them how much I appreciate their reply. I also got my Son in Law to order new windows from Window World when they moved into their first home. He said all his neighbors loved the look of the windows on their home.

I am so sad to write this review. I was so happy to hire window world. For 8400 dollars they replaced 16 windows in my home. A price well below even the lowest next bidder. During installation the guys were very nice. The master bathroom top window sash was broken, either during production, or installation. Although it was to be fixed, it still remains broken to this day. Upon inspection of the windows after the freezing season I have found that almost every window has incredibly ugly welds on each side of the window where the pieces were connected. On top of that, at least three of the windows were put together in such a way that the vinyl isnt flush, allowing bugs and air to escape/enter. At least two(so far) screens do not stay up when the window is opened. As well as one screen actually being installed cut. I was so happy to initially have these windows installed. I just wish I would have paid more attention when the lead installer said this is just a survey, you wont hurt our feelings if you dont fill it out. When it was in fact a satisfaction review, and a questionnaire asking if everything was done right. Signed: sad, hard working homeowner.EDIT:SEPTEMBER 28THAs of now, they have come out and taken care of all of my concerns. It did take two visits, but after we completed the final one, all worries have been handled. Not only did the company take care of me, they took care of my home. Make sure to manage expectations, and speak clearly about what you would like to see.

Window matches/blends w/my woodwork. That was imp to me. The gouges made to get old windows were covered with a matching piece of wood. Looked great but needed to be tacked or nailed. As it looks presently...shiney window sealer was rubbed over the full length & width. End result: Piece of 4 foot coveres gouges but way too glossy.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE INSTALL. Paid for the new patio door IN FULL, UP FRONT!!! Sales rep Suh was very professional and knowledgeable. Standard sliding door, wood grain interior with antique brass handle, white exterior. Was told we could expect the door in 8 weeks. Door took 14 weeks to come in, had to be rescheduled due to a rain out. Took over 3 business days to get a call back on the reschedule date. Door wasnt complete upon install, missing parts and the handle wasnt complete either. Paid extra for the interior handle to not be white and it did not have the matching lock!! Install job was very poorly done as there are multiple spots where the caulking does not seal the door frame to the house, inside and outside!!! I expected a call the next business day explaining about the missing items but that never happened! After waiting over a week, I had to to call into and ask about my missing pieces and terrible install. Kari in customer service was very understanding and professional as I expressed my concerns and frustrations, again paid for the door in FULL, UP FRONT!!! Dawn the installer supervisor eventually called and set up a time to come out and inspect the install. Guess what, they had to reschedule as they had another emergency come up. When they finally did come out to inspect the door install, it had been 2 weeks from the install and still didnt have any answer on when the missing pieces would be in. She did confirm the caulking job was absolutely terrible and poorly done. 2 business days after the supervisor inspection, they still dont have an answer on when the missing parts will be in or when I can expect the install to be complete. This has been an absolute embarrassment of a contracted job by a professional. Our house had the windows upgraded by Window World prior to us buying the house. The sales rep again was very knowledge and professional, seemed like a great investment. Turns out that we should have taken our business elsewhere and not paid for the door upfront. Would highly recommend only putting down the bare minimum upfront if you choose to gamble on your install with Window World. Wish this was a joke but sadly its reality.

27 Windows, 7 man crew, 1 day. Im usually skeptical of the low price leader on products, but the difference was so much, I could buy the windows 3 times over vs Anderson. For that big of a difference, I figured why not give them a shot.The results are fantastic. The windows are good quality, fit perfectly, move nicely, look great and the installation was done correctly. They look like they belong and I saved enough to remodel the kitchen.The below image is one wall of the finished product. The salesman suggested replacing the double hungs on this wall with picture windows. The final result is spectacular.

This is our second time using Window World. Our fist was great and I had just hoped the second would be as good. Well it turned out even better. They were very aware of our virus problems now and kept masked at and at least 6 feet away while doing a great installation. Will use and recommend again and again.Thanks

We recently had a bid on our whole house from window world, the guy that came out not only gave us a bid that was WAY lower than the other bid, he was also honest and told us that we really didn’t need new windows just replaced glass. He didn’t need to tell us that and could have made tons of money off us, but instead sent us down to right path. When we do eventually need new windows, i know who to call.

Very nice windows for a very affordable price. I had an appointment with Bordner for the very exact windows and they wanted to charge me 3 times what Window World charged. Window World rep was very professional and worked with me on my decisions to purchase windows. Only one problem. The installers left shrapnel on the floors that was not easy to see. I could have cut my feet at least 4 times and seriously if I did not have shoes on. The shrapnel was in different locations.

I wasnt sure what to expect when I ordered my replacement windows but I was really impressed by the quality, professionalism and pricing I received from the Window World. The salesman was informative and detailed, windows came in before I expected, the installation took less time than I expected (less than 2 hours for 9 windows). Installers covered everything in plastic, then cleaned up and vacuumed. I even received a followup call from their foreman. Windows look great from inside and outside. The next closest bid from a competitor was a $1000 more. Very happy, would use again, but the lifetime warranty says I wont have to.

Very friendly, professional, and helpful!

I knew going into this it would be 10-12 weeks before my sliding back door would be installed. I ordered at the beginning of July. I finally got fed up with the lack of communication as we were approaching weeks 11 & 12 without hearing anything only to be told that our door had arrived that day but it wouldnt be installed until the end of Oct, which would put us at 15-16 weeks. Fortunately, they found a cancellation and moved us up. The lack of communication on the part of Window World was very irritating and caused me to lose confidence in them. Fast forward to installation day and the WRONG DOOR was installed. It did not have the inset blinds like I had ordered or a foot lock. I was informed that if I wanted the blinds it would be another 4-6 weeks and I would still be expected to pay for them even after having to wait what would have been a total of 16-18 weeks to get what I ordered. That is just insane to me and horrible customer service. The gentlemen who actually did the installation and had to come back twice to install the foot lock were wonderful. The installer supervisor, who I had to call 3 times before anyone called me back, just brushed everything off as the manufactures fault and did not seem to care at all about the massive inconvience and irritation this was causing as we had already sold our house. It seems that Window World is much more concerned with getting money rather than their customers and thats a shame because we bought a new house that will need new windows and I am definitely NOT going with Window World. I also did not recommend Window World to others that I know who are looking to replace their windows as well.

Except for the 1st day of installation being cancelled (due to transmission issues of the truck) Everything went great with our new windows. From the sales rep who came out very promptly to the installation of 6 windows taking only 3 hours. The crew was professional and polite.We love our new windows and highly recommend Window world to our friends and family!

We had siding and windows installed....both look great. The only issue we had was there were nails left from the siding and we spent countless hours cleaning them up so that our small dogs wouldnt step on them. We ended up recovering 493 nails. A roller was never ran and this is unacceptable!

Had them out to replace a basement egress window this morning and they couldnt have done a better job. We had the tech out to measure about 4 weeks ago and they got it ordered and fabricated in no time at all. The installers were amazing. In and out with almost no noise at all. The wife is working from home and was worried they might make a ruckus but I think I only heard them beat a tiny bit to get the window in the box and it was near silent apart from that. Even she couldnt believe they were done and she gets upset when the dogs bark outside. 🙂 No mess left behind either, in fact it was the teenagers room so it might be cleaner. They are truly professionals and I would recommend them to anyone for any job large or small.

Gave us a service window from 10-1, crew showed up at 9:45. Had all 9 windows replaced and finished by 12:30. Guys were courteous and respectful, didn’t leave a mess, and were happy to show us all the windows features. Would 100% use again!Edit: After having the windows almost a year now my utility bills have dropped almost $100. My house stays warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer. Noise reduction is amazing, I live right next to 435 and can barely hear it. Havent had a single issue with any of the windows functionality. Great product with an even better price tag!!

This was our 2nd project with Window World. We like how the process takes place from start to finish. There was lots of good communications from the office, Field Supervisor and install crew. Accurate measurements ensure our windows fit properly and look great. The Installers are courteous and professional and were thorough. The salesman who came out was very professional and knowledgeable. During the time he was out and we were considering new windows we had a health issue arise and again he was very understanding. When we made our decision and ordered our windows, everything they told us happened exactly as they indicated. They called and scheduled our appointment. The installation was expertly done. The installer was professional and courteous and extremely good at his job. We love our new windows and enjoy showing them off. From the initial sale through the install everything went great. The sales person (Dion) was very pleasant to deal with and knowledgeable. The install crew lead by Mike were very professional and respectful. They always took off their shoes when coming indoors, which doesn’t sound like a big thing, but goes a long way in showing they care enough about what they’re doing and your property.Hopefully the windows end up being as good as everything else was. 👍👍

I ordered windows on 11-17-20, now I wont get my windows till maybe 3-15-21. They are not competitive in their pricing, you can expect to pay about $400 a window. So basically I pay over $100 for them to install it.

Had window world replace half my windows a few years ago and the other half last week. Install both times went quickly and windows look and operate awesome; especially compared to the 60 year old single pane wood ones i replaced!! Great experience! Price was the best of the three bids I received, and the windows are high quality. The installers did a nice job and were conscious to keep the inside of my house clean. The installation took two half-days: the first day they installed the windows (22 of them), and the second day they came back to install the trim and seal the windows from the outside. They look fantastic, and work brilliantly. I live on a somewhat busy street and the week after they were installed I noticed how much quieter it was in my house; I could barely hear the traffic outside. It was really quite amazing. I cant wait to see what kind of savings I get on my heating/cooling bills as well!

Good price, transferable warranty, quality product. Those 3 things were very important to us when choosing to purchase from Window World. The 2 man crew that installed did a great job and were very helpful and respectful of our property. They were in and out in about 6 hours and there was no mess left behind. The windows are nice looking and work very well. So far we are very happy with our purchase.

I had Window World install windows in our house in Illinois and was quite pleased with the quality and installation process. We moved to Missouri and bought an older home that needed windows, so again we used Window World and were not disappointed. The process was quick and efficient. Both crews that installed the windows were very particular about our personal processions, made sure nothing could be damaged. Also made sure every window was perfectly installed, cleaned up everything inside the house and outside. We love the windows, the price, and the overall sales process. We have 18 windows in our house and we had Window World replace them. The install crew was wonderful, very very nice and efficient. They had them all done in under 4 hours, not a piece of trash or any debris from our old windows anywhere. They cleaned the floor inside under every window as well. You would have never known they were here when they left. We had a consultation with Renewal by Anderson before we called Window World and we could not believe the difference. We replaced 28 windows (mostly large) and the experience from first contact, sales, scheduling, customer service and installation was just like it should be...simple and effortless.We met with 3 other companies prior to Window World and their pricing ranged from $45k to $55k...all with limited warranties. First time using Window World. After getting 4 other estimates, they had the best prices to me for what all their windows offered. It took a while to get them installed due to two cancellations but they made up for that, which I commend them for that!The installers were friendly and quick! I had 5 windows installed and one redesigned, it took a couple of hours, they cleaned up behind themselves inside and out! I can tell the difference in my kitchen already, my kitchen is staying nice and cool where as it wasn’t before the windows! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND WINDOW WORLD!

We got quotes from a couple companies in advance. The salesman seemed straight forward and honest. Relative to the other offers we looked at, window world was fairly priced. The installation crew was solid and did a good job. They worked hard and made a point to make sure we were happy with the end product. Nearly 5 stars, but 1) they didnt contact us before delivering materials and inadvertently blocked my car in the garage...thankfully I could work from home that day. 2) not all the trim pieces were delivered up front so they had to come back and finish the job later than initially communicated.

Fantastic, 5 star windows! We had our windows installed exactly 3 weeks after signing paperwork. Caseys crew was professional, courteous, and respectful not only to us but to each other, it was fun to watch them have a good time while working. The weather was a little rainy but cleared up and they worked through it all with no complaints. They did a super job of cleaning up after themselves and hauled away all trash from the day, so helpful to us! Our house is over 100 yrs old and had old single pane drafty, difficult to open, windows. I love these windows, it made an immediate difference in the inside temperature, especially in our rooms upstairs. The cost of these windows were thousands less than a previous estimate from another window company. Dealing with Window World has been effortless, they have been extremely nice and easy to contact, we especially enjoyed Jack Baldridge and his great customer service! I will definitely recommend Window World to others!

I have to say this is refreshing in light of the recent estimates I was trying to get from other companies. My representative from Window World was Stephen, and he was absolutely wonderful. He was kind, calm, courteous, and easy to talk to. He left me with brochures, he let me play with a sample window, and he even talked me into replacing my French doors with a sliding door. I have been wanting to get a sliding door for a while, but wasnt prepared to spend thousands on a door. When he told how nice their doors were and how much cheaper they were, I decided to reconsider. About 2 weeks later, I decided to order 2 windows. He came back out, we signed the contract, I handed him a check, and now I am waiting on the next steps of the process. Ill update my review once I receive the windows. - I went with Window World because their prices were competitive and fair, 2 of my friends are happy happy with their windows, and Stephen let his brochures and good-natured personality take over instead of trying to pressure me into something. I never felt uncomfortable, and was even told its whenever I feel like making a move. THIS IS HOW YOU GET BUSINESS, FOLKS!!!! You dont need to corner me in my own home to get a sale. If your business does great work, has very few problems, but takes care of them, has wonderful customer service, and a laid back sales approach, the sales will come. I cant wait to get my first set of windows. I look forward to continuing this business relationship. Thanks!

Excellent experience with both the sales team and the install team. Significantly better prices than the other big name window companies and great service.I even changed my mind about a window and they came back later and installed a different one, no charge.

Very impressed with Tracy who came to my residence and replaced a window and several screens. He was very efficient doing his job and he still had time to carry on a conversation that I hope made his time as enjoyable as mine. Also very impressed with Window World’s policy of replacing windows that over time had air leaks even though my windows were originally put in over 10 years ago. Found another window that needed replaced and a few more screens, no questions asked, they just gave me a date when they will be back and it’s that easy. Gals that do appointment scheduling very nice also, I highly recommend Window World!!!

I cant say enough good things about our experience with Window World. My sister used WW in Nashville Tennessee and loves her windows so recommended them to us. Our local sales rep was Dallas and he was very knowledgable, friendly, and thorough. The windows came in sooner than expected and Casey and his crew were our installation team. Ive never seen a crew work so hard, they didnt even break for lunch! They were professional, respectful of me and our home and did a tremendous job with the installation. Window world did our widows & siding recently & I was so impressed with everything about the jobs. Windows were done first & installers were very professional, neat, & polite. Every time one of them came in try took off there shoes or boots, & they cleaned after finishing the job. I have had other repairman or workers who tracked mud & left dirt & messes behind, but none of these men. The siding crew was just as good. I have told everyone who asked Ho impressed we were with Window World. Thank you for training your staff to care about what the do. The can leave a job & no they did it well.

Fantastic!! The entire process was easy from having them come out to measure & give us a quote to installing the windows. The crew was awesome & sensitive to my 2yos napping needs. I highly recommend them. Plus - the windows are gorgeous!!

We were so pleased with the windows and crew from Window World! The crew arrived on time and worked very quickly to install our windows in a timely manner. The windows look great and we cant wait to finish the rest of our home with Window World windows later this year. We feel that this company offers the best quality windows for the price in the KC area.

The salesman was very courtesy, up front and helpful. Though we had to wait a bit longer for our windows the wait was still not a long time. The workers were very pleasant to work with and did a fabulous job. Even cleaned up after their with was done. Very helpful in explaining how the windows worried. Highly recommend them.

Window world is the Best. The salesman was prompt, informative helpful. The price was right (replacing Windows isnt cheap, but they dont overcharge). When they came out to do the work, they were super fast and did awesome work. I mean I was shocked at how quickly it went. Will be using them again as there are about 10 more Windows in our hose to replace. Oh yeah and they didnt mind just doing 1-2 Windows at a time. Great job!!!

Our experience was wonder from the start. Our salesman was pleasant to work with he made us feel comfortable and answered all our questions. Dion and Jack were wonderful! But there seemed to be a disconnect with the company between windows and siding. We patiently waited for both to come in. As we had been told that both needed to be installed together. Scheduling was messed up. And it seemed no one was talking to the other in regards to the installation. This caused us to have to take off of work extra days. Communication is lacking here.

The salesmen were very polite and direct. No beating around the bush. They did an excellent job of explaining codes and benefits. The installation crew was very efficient and clean. Covered up areas in the house and cleaned up the work site after they were done.

Window Worlds 3-person team installed our 9 new windows in about half a day. They are beautiful and give our 60+ year-old house an updated look! The installers seemed to be very skilled and knowledgeable.

The old door way was measured 3 times by 3 different people and the custom door was not custom per installer who also thought that the 3 inch gap on each side, that was open to the outside, was to be done by me. They used 3 cans of foam to fill gaps instead of framing it in. The only bright side to this experience is that there is not a huge difference in temperature in that room anymore.

This was the best experience from a contractor ever. They arrived on time, totally professional. They had the site all prepared with plastic to carry debre away. They had a triple window removed in 8 minutes! The whole process was done in 2 hours. One triple window and 3 regular windows. I will definitely have them come back and finish my house. I will also be a reference for them for someone else. Mike was one and his partner. They are awesome team.

The guys were great! Knew what they were doing and updated as they moved from one floor.to the next. Vacuumed up after work and the windows and sliding doors are amazing! Our neighbors are asking about them and have handed out some cards! Thanks!

Steve did an awesome job coming out and quoting us! He provided lots of information and made it easy to understand exactly what we were getting. He was also extremely timely in his response and coming back out. The installers arrived as they were scheduled and did an excellent job. Were quick, did the extra steps to ensure they were installed correctly, and cleaned up upon completion. We love our new windows and can already tell a difference!! Would highly recommend Window World. Only info they could have included more detail on is the amount of noise they would do in regards to their tools used. Difficult to work from home and even stay home during the install. But overall, extremely pleased!

I was so impressed with the whole process of getting the windows. When I came home from work the day of installation, the only way I would have known the installers where there was by the new windows. There was not a speck of mess!!

Our church recently hired Window World® to replace windows in the educational wing of our building. The new windows look good, but it was a tough road getting there. They miscounted the number of windows, causing the final cost to exceed the original estimate by over $2000. In addition, it took three appointments with the company before the windows could be accurately measured. The company made no concessions due to their mistakes.Finally, however, the installation was completed, and we are pleased with the results. We are expecting these windows to last a long time without problems.

Sales staff were very attentive and thorough. Installation was on-time and did a great job. The windows are beautiful and fit perfectly.Issues were few, but include the windows needing a thorough cleaning once installed. We expected them to be cleaner once installed. Also, for our basement windows they didnt dust off the sills before caulking the windows in, so the caulk has stuck to the dust and not the sill. Ill have to cut some of the caulk out and re-seal it myself.

Amazing service! And we love our windows! Have used window world twice now and couldn’t be happier. Our consultant, Brett, was exceptional and extremely helpful and knowledgeable in product and ultimately helped us choose what was best for our vision. End result was exactly how we imagined and we couldn’t be happier!!

Window replacements are a huge investment, so I went into the process cautiously. Because Dion (our sales rep) had been a previous window installer, he could explain the whole process really well. Windows were delivered right on schedule and installed on not a great weather day. The installers did a great job - even cleaned up their trash and washed the installed windows.

I liked that the ones who showed were very nice and courteous. And it really helped, with me being disabled they were kind enough to help me get items out of the way. The windows look nice and happy that they are done. They showed me how all them worked. Was very happy until. The only problem I had was they opened my back gate and never closed it. So my dog got out and my dog is my life. As a disabled veteran I need him. He keeps me going. So all I ask is if you open a gate please make sure you close it before you leave.

The installers were here on time. Quite efficient on the install. They removed the brackets, but when they were done, didnt replace them. Said the caulking needed to dry. So I understood that, but was in a quandary as I have no drill & not really able to hang them myself. Short stature & 74 years old. Called the salesman the next day, Dion. He went above &beyond his duties, came out & not only hung the brackets, but also put the blinds up for me! In my mind hes one of a kind. I highly recommend this salesman, great employee.

We replaced both the siding and the windows. We were very happy with how fast and clean the windows went in. We are also happy how our siding looks. The only complaint we have is that they screwed their scaffolding through our brand new roof on all four sides. They did caulk each hole but it would have been nice to know this before we purchased siding so we could have asked for them to use a different type of scaffolding. Also be prepared to have a few paint touch ups inside after windows are replaced due to the EPA making them use duct tape to attach their plastic in case of any lead particles in the air. We recommend them.
