I have lived here for three years now and as much as I would like to move I can’t due to financial troubles. Also, this review is for maple manor apartments, for some reason I can’t leave a review for them because when you type in maple manor it gives you maple apartments which is just down the street. At first the manager was reasonable and would get back to us in the same day with any issues we had but in the last year she has become absent and rarely gets back to tenants about any problems. I have a towel rack that has fallen out of the wall that still hasn’t been fixed (I even let maintenance know the last time they were here to look at the furnace which was three months ago) and the last several times I have tried to get a hold of her for various reasons there was never any confirmation on whether she even got my complaints or sent anyone to fix the problems. Several other tenants have tried to reach out to her about roach problems in the last couple of weeks and she hasn’t been responding to any of them. Earlier in the week I asked if there was any way I could get a copy of the key to get into the basement because I had lost mine and I still haven’t gotten a response. A year ago she had said that she was working on getting security cameras installed in all the buildings which still hasn’t happened. Around the same time she had sent out letters to the tenants about putting locks on the front doors and giving us keys. The letter said it would be done that same week. Months later while I was out of town is when she finally put those locks on and I had no key to get into the building because she had slid the key under my door while I was gone. I had even let her know that I would be out of town. Management has gotten lazy and doesn’t communicate, if you need something done, you’re better off doing it yourself.
