Usually 5 stars but dissatisfied at the moment. Rushed to arrive there before close. So happy 6:58 arrival park and went to door and all locked up. I used to work for a ups store in Naples I remember people rushing in even after close and we always provided good service. I frequent this store and always completely satisfied. Hey I am looking for a job and I do work until close and often after if needed.

Very disorganized. Mutiple people doing mutiple things trying to help me at the same time and losing my w-2 and envelope. Emailed 32 pages to them to also print and they were mad when I asked for my envelope and missed 1 of my w-2. Then I asked them to find it they said they dont have it. Said They would not help me or give me my copies. Very important paperwork with personal info. Dont need it floating around just anywhere. Give me my copies so I know they are shredded. Quit being rude to me for your mistake. Thank You Good Day

I was not looking forward to getting in line to get the items mailed with my elderly relative & her walker. After a short wait we entered the store the manager looked and saw we needed an additional box so went and grabbed one, taped all three up by the time we got up to the counter and we were out of there in less than 10 minutes. Plus our “Employee of the Month” (& you know who you are) was joking and keeping us entertained! Happy Holidays to this hard working staff!!!!

I called this store before I came, gave them my exact dimensions of my art wrap I needed shipped to a client. They quoted me for the packaging and also shipping. So I loaded up my kids which everyone knows isn’t easy, got my stuff and brought it in then they quoted me $45 higher and wouldn’t accept the price they quoted me on the phone. It was extremely frustrating as my clients expect things quickly, I had my kids and even called ahead so I’d be ready and they just stood there and said sorry. That really stinks they wasted all my time. We will just do business elsewhere from here going forward.

I am part of a non-profit organization and we need to ship a large shipment to AZ And Colorado. This team was amazing the did the math to figure out what boxes were the most efficient for my shipment. They loaded the empty boxes, the brought in the filled boxes some of which weighed over 100 pounds. They were curious, helpful, and knowledgable. Robert, Michelle, Liz thank you so much . Worst Customer Service I Ever Experienced I Have A Mailbox And I Often Call Before I Come To Check My Mail Im always Treated like Im Bothering Them For Asking Them If I Have Mail But Thats The Point Thats What Im Paying For Right.And To Top It Off My Mail Isnt Getting Delivered I Was Told They Hadnt Got Around To Putting Mail Away .Work Ethic In This Place is Unheard Of.I Wish I Couldnf Just Transferred to Another Store But Then I Would Be Waiting Even Longer On Mail

I was at the UPS Independence store, unable to wear a mask due to doctor excuse. I tried to explain this to the worker at the store, Robert. He refused to provide me service, demanded I leave the store or he would call the police. I went and got a mask so I could mail my packages. I called the owner, Bob Shullman, on Monday, he basically said to bad, I have to keep my employees safe. I explained how very rude Robert was and he thanked me for letting him know but his goal is to keep store open so cannot have some in store without mask. His workers wear mask and have shield; therefore, no way I could infect them AND I do not have the disease. Very poor service!

There is such a detestable employee, she treats the customer very badly as if one were to ask for free service, she has no education, she is somewhat older with her hair always tied up, I dont think the owner himself acts like her who is a simple employee who is paid to serve customers well, but she does the opposite.They dont deserve a single star.

Called the cops on me for not wearing a mask when they have a SIGN ON THE DOOR stating medical exceptions to masks are honored. Wouldnt take down their sign or explain why they werent honoring it. Manager refused to discuss in any way shape or form what her problem was. Cannot recommend this store.

Robert was extremely nice and patient. The one thing I noticed in my time in the store was manager Nellie. She was very short and grumpy with everyone she attended to. This was my first experience in the Independence store. After reading several reviews, Nellie’s customer service level seems to be constantly reviewed as poor.

Staff is always nice and friendly but my problem is with the manager Nellie. She always seems very grumpy and annoyed when people come into the store. As we all know we are in a pandemic and if the staff chooses not to wear masks that’s fine but what I saw today really upset me. This older gentleman was checking out and Nellie was helping him. She was trying to get a bag for this man to put his items in and while doing so decided to lick her fingers and touch all over the bag to get it loose which is very unhygienic. Cleanliness is really important right now! Hopefully she’s healthy and nothing was spread!

I sent a optical scope at this location. This is the second time I sent something here and there was an older lady with dark hair behind the counter who was quite rude to me. She asked me what I was sending and I told her it was a damaged rifle scope. She told me that UPS doesnt allow the shipment of gun parts. She repeated this twice in a very loud and rude way. I told her it was not a gun part but just an optical device and that it is used on a gun but it is not a gun part. She belittled me and made me feel like she was doing me a favor by packing and shipping this item. This is the second time I had issues with this woman. I guess Ill ship FedEx next time.

Update went there today to send back a package which I have done many times before. However this time some young heavyset boy assisted me. He informed me that he could not give me a receipt for my packages. That if I wanted that I would need to go to post office! A USP Store WOULD NOT send back a UPS package!?!? Well I will NEVER go back and take my business elsewhere since they obviously have enough money they can turn people away?Will NOT recommend this place to anyone! Note if you purchase stamps by the book here they are $2 higher per book then the post office.

Very disappointed with the carrier service on a package recently sent from this facility. In following up on the week delay in arrival I found that the package was damaged in transit and there is NO recourse in claiming the damage or mailing expense. The manager, who mailed it, was apologetic, sounding like a broken record, but of absolutely NO help! I will no longer use this service.

This little place is great. I have recently started doing a lot more on line shopping and therefore more returns. The staff here is always helpful and curtious. One day I stopped in and there was a bit of a line so I needed to wait. I had my dog in the car and it was a hot day. They allowed me to bring her in and gave her a treat. Shes not real big but by no means a purse pooch so even though she was very well behaved she could have been a holy terror ..

Attention UPS management/cooperate office,I just got out of your Independence, MO location and was pleased with the service I received. I went in today to print wedding RSVP cards on a 4x6 post cards. Axel went out of his way to ensure my cards came out nicely. Even though it was a small task, it was the the fact that it was close to closing, and he had customers come first attitude when your competitors said no so easily. Thanks Axel! Youre awesome.

Absolutely the best service. Needed to send a 46 page fax. Machine at other end kept disconnecting. Nellie kept resending until it finally went thought. Store was VERY busy, yet entire staff was cheerful and EFFICIENT.

I have used the UPS store for a number of years to do the work for my real estate and for personal things as well as some things for a church theyve always done an exceptional job always had it ready when they said they would and it is always look great they went above and beyond this last time when I needed some books done for our church and they really did a fine job Im very pleased with recommend them to anyone for this type of work as well as the regular shipping and things theyve handled Force as well

Definitely applaud UPS. They set a time your stuff will be delivered and it is delivered before or right at the time promised. My package(s) are never damaged. I love UPS, I cant stand FedEx. I cant control when I get FedEx delivery. This past Friday FedEx supposedly delivered my girls bed to our door, ( when my daughters got home they found they found their box in the hallway near our neighbors, the box was severely damaged and looked like the person had stomped on it because of the big black impressions they left on the box. FedEx is horrible and nasty company to even deal with. However, I have had very little problems with UPS. I love UPS and know my packages are in safe and capable hands. I definitely can rest easy and I feel like i am important customer. Thank you not only to my Independence UPS, but all UPS that get my packages to my store.

If I could give zero stars I would. Do not, under NO circumstances, use UPS to send things internationally....EVER! I paid about $400 to send a 30lb package to the Dominican Republic. I was told it was a simple process and would be there in less than a week. They didn’t inform anyone about the 5 day process it takes in customs and that taxes will have to be paid on USED items..and you have to transfer money to THEIR bank, you cant just go and pay it. This will have turned into a month ordeal and I have other means to ship there but I figured that UPS would be the quickest. When it’s all said and done, I paid triple what I normally would have to have a terrible experience. Please, never use them!

I have to say, the customer service is great and theres little negative to report about this place. My only issue is after paying $7 my last visit to get something faxed, the receiving entity didnt receive it. I took it there again, had it faxed again, and they only received page 1. The same day I took it elsewhere, and all was received without issue. So I dont know if there is something wrong with their fax machine or if it was just really poor luck on my part...

This place is a joke. The two times Ive used them for shipping services they lost my packages... two times.. in a two week period... completely irresponsible staff... Very rude, and impatient management as well.. if youre looking to use this place as a hub for your secure shipping needs... dont.. because youll end up losing out with them somehow, then being told I dont know what to tell you buddy
