We have used the Stitchin Post for 10+ years for various professional repairs: jacket re-lining, jean tear/rips, pool table cover re-stitching, and assorted dress and pant alterations. Their team is always friendly, helpful, and caring along with reasonable pricing and scheduling. Excellent customer service!!!

Upon arrival i was told there was an upfront fee of almost 50%. I had called in advance regarding fees and this was not mentioned, only the $13 ea to hem pairs of jeans. The upfront payment was waived as should be and i left the pants to be altered with an expectation date. The expectation date was not met by several days which was not a problem under the circumstances but should be noted for future customers. Once the service was completed upon retrieving them i was told there was an additional 3% fee for using my debit Visa card, again not previously mentioned and unheard of to me.

I had a broken zipper on a jacket that had MEMORIES...walked in and they fixed it in ten minutes or less for just a few dollars. I almost cried. They have done wonders with all kinds of heming and alterations over the years. Trust them 100%

Took 2 leather jackets to get the length in the arms shorter and a larger leather coat to get the metal zipper replaced and to put cuffs in the arms to keep the cold wind out. These ladies did a fantastic job! I highly recommend them! Will be back for my tailoring needs!! Thanks a million!

I had a chiefs jersey that was too long i brought in with little hope it could be repaired and returned to its original condition. They were very confident and assured me they could meet all my demands. It only took about a week to make alterations, and as promised everything looked great!The jersey was shortened, size tag at the bottom removed and replaced, they were even able to recreate the splits at the bottoms on each side, i am beyond happy! Price was very affordable too! Big thanks goes out to these ladies!!!

I brought in a bridesmaids dress from Davids Bridal to be altered. They were very friendly upon first entering the shop and throughout the service. After putting the dress on, she asked me questions to alter the dress to my needs. The standard turn-around time is 2 weeks, which I got it back exactly on the 2 week mark; reasonably priced (you have to pay half upon drop off and the other half upon pick up). When I came back to try it on after alterations, it was an amazing fit and you couldnt even tell where they altered. I came back a month later to get it dry-cleaned (they go out of shop for this to a local cleaning service) and very pleased with that service and price. I am currently recommending and will continue to recommend this shop for anyones clothing needs!

I needed to have the waist brought in quite a bit on pants for my sons. They charged us less than regular since it was for boys pants, but even with needing the pants to be done pretty quickly it still took awhile for the work to be done. They can be quite busy so if you need something quickly youll still have to wait at least a week. The pants turned out great though and were ready by the date they had set.

I went in fully expecting a $41.00 repair. She took one glance and said hang on this will only take a sec.&$10.00 bucks and out the door. They are fantastic and honest. Now my fav bomber jacket zips.

This has always been my go to place for all of my sewing and alteration needs. They do excellent work, at reasonable prices. Be sure and plan ahead! They are very popular, so dont expect a short turnaround. We found a prom dress for my daughter at a vintage store, but it was a size too big. They did an excellent job altering it to fit her. They have replaced zippers for me, hemmed long gowns, and even created doll dresses from patterns and material I purchased. You name it, and they can do it!

We dropped off scout pants to have zipper fixed, they had for 1 month and finally when we called they said they couldnt fix them. They did not charge but why even bother if you cant fix them then do not waste customers time.

If you have something simple and you are not in a hurry, then you may be okay.

Great friendly services. Can fix rips and tears in clothes so good youll be trying to find out where it was when you get your clothes back. Dry cleaning is a 10+ have gone to this place for 15 years!

Took my wedding dress here. My dress was way too small, but she worked wonders! It fits like a dream now and the quality of her work was fantastic! She charged me half of what the bridal store was going to, and got it done a lot faster!

Had a leather jacket I thought was lost. Really old, aged and worn leather kinda thing. They said they could fix it, and that the stitches would be visible (a pro for me, as it adds character to such an old lettermans) before the cold sets. Overall, very happy with my experience here.

After going to 2 different shops, and being told the zipper in my dress couldn’t be fixed before Christmas, my best friend suggested the Stitching Post. So I went in, and she says oh you just need a zipper pull. It will cost you $10, and it will be done today! About 45 minutes later they contacted me that it was done!! I got there and it looked good as new! Thank you ladies for your help!

My first experience with the ladies of stichin post was great. I learned that i did not require a hem afterall in my mother of the bride dress. Such honesty. Was introduce to some helpful bra cup and stay ideas. Appreciate this business.Would certainly recommend.

I went here to have my four bridesmaids dresses made. They were very simple dresses. I gave them all the supplies they requested back in March and my wedding was June 8th. They kept forgetting and messing up the date that the dresses had to be done by. They did not begin making the dresses until the 2nd or 3rd week of May so my bridesmaids only got one fitting each the weekend before the wedding. That day, the dresses needed to be hemmed, taken in at the waist by a lot, and the straps shortened. About a week later, my parents went in to pick up the dresses and the seamstress kept telling them that she needed more time. So my parents waited until she finally finished the dresses. That same night (one day before my wedding) I had my bridesmaids try on the dresses and thats when the horror began! Every single dress was at least one size too big, the straps at least one inch too long, and the buttons were falling off (buttons that I explicitly told the seamstress I didnt want). Needless to say, I wanted to cry. The dresses had to be thrown away because they were worthless. My dad called the seamstress the next day to demand a complete refund and she didnt argue with him at all. My thought is if she knew that her work was quality work, she would have argued with him about the refund. Her lack of arguing tells me that she knew the dresses were terrible before they even left the store. Admittance of failure would have been more honorable and respectable than her taking my money for a product she knew was inadequate and unusable. All in all, I DO NOT recommend her services.
