Auto tech lied to me about everything wrong with my car. First I took it in because they had done a bunch of AC work and it quit. I knew it was an electrical problem because when I turn on the defroster the AC would still work. However they called me up and told me that I had a leak in my freon and thats why I didnt work and that they use dye to find the leak. All of that was a lie. They simply did not want to do the work.So I also was trying to get serpentine belt changed and they didnt want to do that because you have to take off the tire so they told me that I had a quote weak spot in my power steering. Another complete and utter lie.When I went to pick up my car I confronted them about their lying to me and the guy behind the counter looked me dead in the eye and said well why dont you fix it yourself? I said okay and I started to walk out the door and he yelled back at me dont bring it back. The funny thing is DAC work is their baby and the dealer I bought the car from insist that Auto tech is going to fix it. Id let him fix it but I do not trust them and they will never touch my car again. this all happened on a Saturday and I know thats not the regular crew however theres no excuse for what they did none whatsoever.They get one star because I cant give them negative Stars they lied to me theyre lazy and I wouldnt trust them at all.Go find a shop that cares about customer service and give him your money instead of giving it to Auto tech because they dont care about you they just want your money and they will lie to you to get it as easily as they can.

Ive spent thousands here in the past few months and plan on spending thousands more over the next few months. They have done great work and I anticipate they will continue to do great work.

If youre needing mechanical work done to your automobile this is the place to go they do everything from replacing a window on the driver side door to a motor, transmission, tires brakes you name it theyll take care of you. Ask for Michael or Brett when you walk in the door these guys definitely will take care of you and if its beyond their task they will send you to the best and cheapest shop to take care of your problem.

I appreciate the people at AutoTek. I’ve had 2 bigger issues in the last month (wheel issue and an air sensor) both were fixed quickly. I even had to be towed to them and they still got me in and fixed in a timely manner. Would highly recommend them!

MY TRUCK FAILED INSPECTION!They check thoroughly, and go by the book. I knew about 4 of the failed items that where iffy but they showed me my cracked leaf springs and leaking axle seal i didnt know about.They dont do under the table if thats what ur wondering lol

I was not impressed, Ive been here before but I feel like this time they just wanted my $, I gave them $800 the first time and the problem isn’t fixed, I brought It back up there and supposedly it was fixed nope, I’m curious where $800 went cause it’s still doing the exact same thing, then I called twice they were suppose to get back with me still nothing. I took it back in on another issue $300 later and it’s still doing the same thing, so I’m taking my car elsewhere. I feel like they could careless.

My wifes vehicle needed a shifter cable replaced. After replacing the shifter cable, the tech did not put the center console back correctly (loose and moved easily). I informed the tech before I left. Tech stated it was kinda like that when it got here which It was NOT. Tech then took vehicle back to fix center console... Unfortunately it was still not replaced correctly, center console is crooked and not where it aligns too. Found broken clips in cup holder tech had broke.

Use them regularly for auto repair and oil changes etc. They have always taken great care of my wife and me.

I took my truck to get an alignment they left the camber bolts loose and knocked my pins out the adjusters. My wife drove the truck the next day and almost wrecked due to it raining because of the bad alignment. Also had the nerve to charge me for a bad alignment and kick me out the store. If i could post a video or a picture on how bad it was i would. Dont recommend going to this place horrible customer service, very rude people.

Dont go to this place had to get my car front alignment at this place and they didnt do it right at all. Then they didnt even do the back. Went and had my friend check it at Richline and found out they didnt even do there job. Ya never going back at all.

Nice people but the tech must not know how to fix a/c systems on cars. The warranty people on my car told me to take it here so i did. They had the car all day long told me that the schrader valves where leaking and so they replaced them. They recharged the system and said it was good to go. Well it wasnt it didnt fix the issue it keeps getting hot and cold over and over. So we took it back to them and they had the car all day again said it was the Expansion valve told me it be 230 bucks well that was to high so i said never mind. Took it to my shop that charged cheaper and they put in new valve well guess what that didnt fix issue either the real problem is the evap temp sensor in the dash. So now im out 228 bucks because these guys told me it was these issues and it wasnt. Never again will i not listen to my gut and go with someone i already trust. By the way they also over charged the system. Nice of them isnt it.

Sometimes women can be take advantage of and made to feel not car smart at mechanic shops but I do not feel this way here! Jim and Brett are very knowledgeable, thorough and have always been honest and straightforward with me. I know they wouldn’t put me in a car they wouldn’t put their daughters in.. I trust them with all my car needs and would highly recommend! Thank you guys!

Took my car in to get work on Thursday after work. Was suppose to be done by Friday 2pm. I got there at 3pm and it wasnt done. They didnt get done until 4pm. Got my car and all my ABS lights was on. (The wasnt on when i took my car into them.) So they took my car back in to figure out why they was on. 45min later the mechanic came out tell me he cant figure out why theyre on.

I was able to get an appointment the same day to get my car inspected. Save me a ticket for expired tags.

I have been their 5 times and they finally replaced the cadalic converter and temp gage air intake thing the engine light came on so i took it to orieleys and they said it was the fuel pump well i went up their and told jeff and he told me no thats fine and thought i was crazy about having problems starting so auto now sent me to maywood auto now and less then 20 mins they said it was my fuel pump auto tek was jus trying to wait till my 30 days would be up so id have to pay for....looking for a great mechanic shop maywood auto repair is wonderful they take vood care of you and treat you wonderful they vo above and beyond auto tek is rude and scandalous!!

Came in for an alignment. after they was done gave me a printout of alignment and said it didnt need one BUT charged me anyway!! said wheel was loose. very poor business!
