Took a couple pairs of my wifes favorite boots to get fixed. Tom had them done quickly and charged a fair price. My wife is extremely happy to be able to wear her favorite pairs of boots again! I would highly recommend Tom for any shoe repair needs

Grouchy guy who scrawls a hand written sign reading Closed for a few days on the front of his building, then yells at you when you call (after 2 more attempts to bring him business) to ask when he plans to reopen because you didnt check his website. From the looks of the building and the poorly printed sign, it never occured to me that this guy would even have a website. No thanks! I took my boot to Footwear Outfitters on Hitt Rd. for repairs. Really nice folks there.

Been in 3 different times and was never helpful. Always told us that he doesnt have the material or couldnt do the work. Apparently suede and leather are not something he keeps on hand?!

I am very pleased with the work Tom did on a pair of sandals. The stitches he did on them looks great. I would definitely recommend this shop. Thank you Tom.

I am extremely disappointed with the treatment I received here . I bought a pair of high end designer shoes, and as they have started to relax I was hoping to get further assistance with the break in process, as these specific shoes are known to be extremely hard and uncomfortable to break in. I took them to the shop, asking if they could be stretched . He immediately cut me off, said he couldn’t do it because they weren’t real leather, and that I should “return them and maybe get some shoes that fit me”. I was not under the understanding that he only worked on leather shoes . I ignored the comment, and showed another pair of shoes that I needed holes punched into the ankle straps. He told me he could not see where I needed them punched, and said that maybe he should give me the tool and let me do it so when I mess them up I can blame myself and not him. It’s truly unfortunate that this is the only repair place in town.

I’ve been in about ten times, I think. I want to challenge a couple of the other reviews I’ve seen on here. While the guy isn’t as bubbly as my mom or my grandma, he is most certainly friendly enough. Understands what I want, and always delivers very nice results in less than 24 hours, at a great price. I’ve had some old Eccos stitched up and I’ve gone for shines a bunch of times. Everything looks great when I get them back. Heads up: cash or check only.

I had Tom clean up a pair of shoes that was looking pretty worn. He did an excellent job on the upper, but in the process he got stain all over the rubber sole. I just went back in to see if he had anything that could get it off. I had tried somethings at home with no luck. He snapped and started yelling at me telling me that no one can see it and that I was being ridiculous. I just said hey I was just hopping you had something that could clean it up a little more. Told me that was how they were when they came in which isnt correct. He tried ripping the shoes out of my hands because he said he wanted his laces back and would just refund my money. The cactus on the counter went crashing to the ground as he is trying to take the shoes away from me. He yells that he is going to call the cops on me as I am standing there completely dumbfounded by his actions. He ran outside got my license plate number and then pulled a $20 out of the cash register and slammed it on the counter. I just told him I wasnt here for his money, but just to see if he could help me out and I had no idea why he was acting the way he was. I literally thought he was going to take a swing at me. All of a sudden it was like a switch was flipped. He apologized and said he was having a bad day. He stuck his hand out for me to shake and then took the shoes to the back and got the stain off the soles. They look way better then they were and he honestly did a great job. I will give him the benefit of the doubt about having a bad day, but just be aware that he could fly off the handle at any second. His customer service is the worst of anyone I have ever encountered, but the final product on the shoes is a 5 star. Take your business here at your own risk. Literally.

ZERO STARS!!!! (even though google MAKES you click on a star in order to post.) Hey, everyone else out there!!! You ARE allowed to be your own self and have your OWN opinion. Everyone is putting 4 and 5 stars. Not this person!! Are you doing this because everyone else LOVES Tom?Someone in town recommended going to Toms shoe repair on 1st street. The first second I walked in the store he said How may I help you? I thought he was talking to me but RUDELY said it was another customer sitting down. Then, he got to me. I showed him the problem with my shoes and he said Those are the biggest joke around. Ive had several people coming in there with those and you just need to go to the shoe store you bought them at. And all of this in a very grumpy, non-professional way. Whats worse is that he has Book of Mormons sitting on his shelf, free to give. Tom, you need to DO what your scriptures tell you how to live. If my shoes are a joke, then your witness of the RESTORED GOSPEL is even a bigger and much more serious one.

The guy that runs this place is extremely grouchy. He was so irritated that I wanted my fake leather boots heel glued. He repeatedly told me my shoes were fake and not made well. I agreed and proceeded to tell him that I still needed the heel glued. There use to be multiple shoe repair places in town. Now we are down to just this one. Its sad that we are forced to deal with grumpy poor service for a repair.

I took Tom my Sorels that I’d had for 26 years. They were really used and worn out so bad that I was going to throw them away. But, they still seemed to have some life left in them. So, I took hem to Toms. Tom made them new again. They worked perfectly and they looked like new again. I highly recommend using Toms.
