I hired Senske last summer and paid hundreds of dollars for several treatments to better my lawn. This spring- my front yard looked like garbage- I waited a couple of months to see if it would get better and it hasn’t. In 5 years since I built my house, my yard has NEVER looked like this and the only thing different I did was hire Senske.

I used like this service when it was local. used them extensively for tree triming and spraying for aphids.Right now I am on the phone....waiting to talk to customer service about a billing for a service that I didnt request. They seemed to have gotten confused. I have asked them several times to show me where I signed up for this treatment. Like I said, good company that now has poor and/or confused service. Too bad.

Senske came out once and did one treatment. They have failed to show up for treatment number two even though I bought the treatment program for the year. The only other contact I had was a women from senske trying to sell me pest control over the phone. They were more than happy to take my money upfront and promise me great results but that was all . Shame on Senske!So cancelled the program I get the standard we are sorry and will pass it along to our management team. 2 weeks later I havent heard a word from Senske which was my key complaint from the beginning. I did however get a 50% off my next treatment if I come back in the mail. It was never about what I was paying and everything to do with the lack of service.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE:Sorry this is so long but take the time to read, it might help you avoid my frustrations with Senske.First three lawn treatments were all done after 5pm. This week I receive the requested text message from the tech that he would be at my house in 5 mins. This was at 11:30 am, I called him to let him know I am not home until after 5 pm, no one is home, no access to my backyard. He was suppose to come after 5 like the past techs have done for me. I could see him on my Google doorbell camera walking back and forth to each side of my house, trying to get to the backyard. He left and I did not get a call from anyone at Sanske, I had to call them about the scheduling. I was told they have no after 5 pm appointment, last schedule it at 4 pm. could not tell me why the first three were completed after 5 pm. Would not work with me, ect. Told the rep to CANCEL the remaining service, she did so without even trying to work something out. Senske is a service tech company why do they NOT have evening appointments? It is summer sun us up until 8:30. Why was the first three treatments all after 5 pm. The techs have been great, my lawn looks good! BUT After this last treatment the end of June, this past week, my lawn started showing yellow spots all across my yard front and back. Not that Senske would care due to poor customer service. I know service... as that is what I do each and everyday, 150 retailers, 900-1000 techs across 26 states. Who have a 5-8 window for scheduling, even weekends Saturday and Sunday, winter or summer.

I paid for a year. Six months in they said I used all my treatments and started sending me a bill. They said they fertilized and sent me a bill. My yard was yellow and looked bad so I called them they sent out a guy who agreed my lawn did not look fertilized. He said they would respray then they never showed up. Im looking for someone else.

Dont recommend. Been trying to get a hold of the company for weeks to have them complete a work termination form for health and welfare but they wont talk to me. Companies customer service is slacking so unless you wanna be on call for 39 min I wouldnt.

Last year we had Senske service our lawn but have since discontinued our services due to the fact our lawn still looked poor. We constantly had weeds come up, yellow spots, and bare patches. They would come out to reassess, but the service person would tell me I am watering my grass too little or too much, then we got feedback that our lawn “was difficult”. In addition to lawn services we had Senske turn on our sprinklers for the year and check if everything was working properly, then winterize/blow them at the end of the season. Yesterday, I had another company turn on my sprinklers and found that one lines had not been blown out---as a result it had frozen, cracked and flooded the box and ground underneath which caused the portion surrounding the ground box to be washed out. Needless to say we are very displeased with Senske and their services. If our sprinklers would have been properly winterized (as we had paid for) then we would not have had to pay additional money for someone else to fix this mistake. Just very unfortunate we spent all this money to have a professional make our lawn look nice and it ended up being worse. Though customer service is nice, I would not recommend this company and their overall services.

Senske sprayed my trees for a problem with scale. Their first visit, they sprayed all but the trees that needed sprayed. They came back and sprayed the right trees. This spray fixes the problem, and the trees have no more scale. I paid them and that was that.ONE YEAR LATER I got another bill for ~$400 for spraying my trees. What? That was a year ago! Apparently they came back and did it again a year later. The scale on the trees was gone, so why would I need another service? And why was I not notified? I checked my email spam folder, and they sent me an email a couple days before saying they would be there :-/ Not very professional. Unknown to me, all Senske services are annual services! You have to opt out if you just want a one-time service.I felt totally duped. The initialed option at the bottom of the contract said the services were annual and that any special rates dont apply once expired, or something like that. I recall signing the bid, but I never was told by the person handing me the clipboard that the services renewed annually. This is very unprofessional.Also, the chemical is $40 for a whole bottle. They charge ~$400 to come spray a quarter bottle on my trees. Not a very good value.

I had the pleasure of having both Paul and Brandon at my home on 6/11/20. Their professionalism, friendliness, as well as their knowledge on how to handle the pest problems I was having (noticeably spiders) helped put me at ease. Paul also had fantastic advice for a rock feature to put around the base of my house to help discourage insects from crossing into my crawlspace as well. Im new to the area so pest control solutions that would be applicable for the region were not as obvious to me, especially due to being used to a more oceanic/rainy region. Im looking forward to a continued relationship with Senske in light of their performance and attitude today, and would be looking to recommend their services.

I’m not one for writing reviews but we had such a horrible experience I figured I’d share it to helps others. They constantly showed up unannounced with no warning. We would tell them and agree on dates of when to come and then they’d just show up whenever. They were suppose to do our lawn care after a specific date because we were going to be out of town. They showed up the day we were suppose to leave, blocked our drive way right as we were leaving and told us that we needed to make sure we watered after 24 hours which we couldn’t since were going out of town which is why we agreed on after that date for starting the service. We got home and our lawn was just ruined. They were suppose to help save our birch as well and told us the injections should save them no problem. Someone else looked at it and told us that birch was very dead and we could prolong its life maybe a few years but there was no way to save it. I felt senske wasn’t being honest and just want our business because it felt like we just threw money away on a tree that is passed saving. We hired them for a tree pruning service and when they first quoted us it was suppose to only be 200 dollars when they came back they said 600 because of the location of the tree they’d have to get power turned off and climb up into the tree since the truck couldn’t come back there so we agreed. When they got there they didn’t climb the tree or even mess with the lines whatsoever they just raised the tree a little bit with a little saw on a stick and left. They never left the ground. We called and asked why it was so much since they didn’t do anything they said they needed to do and all they could say was because every job we do is a 350 minimum and they add on each hour they are there. They were only there for maybe an hour to an hour and a half. Plus it was never told to us that they had a 350 minimum. Had we known that we would have never agreed to do the service. We got quoted from another place after that saying that kind of service would only be 200 and they didn’t understand why it would be 600 since they just simply raised the tree a little. They said if they had climbed or done pruning throughout the tree they could understand maybe 600, but to just raise it should not cost more then 200. Very displeased and feeling very ripped off. Would not recommend.

I have had my main interactions with two employees here and here is what I have to say:I was referred By an employee named Taylor Ann who took it upon herself to really make sure we were taken care of! From her referring us to them (for pest control and lawn services!), to following up to make sure everything was going alright, she has done everything RIGHT! We have seriously appreciated everything she has done for us and the services provided were just as she said they would be.As for the other employee-I’ve had Tyler H. out to my home for several pest treatments and just want to say that he has gone above and beyond to help us out and give us info! He is super kind and has spoken very highly about senske, and we feel really comfortable having him in and around our home. He’s extremely thorough and definitely makes us feel like our questions and concerns are important. He is a supreme employee and a huge reason we want to continue using services!We love having the services but mainly we love the customer service!

This company claimed they did work (with no approval). When proof of approval was requested they could not provide anything indicating I ever requested services. We agreed to a reduced amount for the services not rendered to make it go away. I paid that amount and now they sent me to collections. **UPDATE** They did pull me out of collections and take care of the remaining bill for me. It was hours and hours on the phone to make that happen. Never were they able to show any proof that I asked for their services.

I was really excited about getting services done to my lawn Senske has done lawn services for a mother and I see how nice her yard is which is why I decided to go with Senske. I had submitted for a quote they were very responsive at first I did call back Friday of the same week left a voicemail and called again Saturday I spoke with I believe John I can’t remember correctly he was very nice and pleasant to talk too. I got the call to schedule my service I did. The day of the service came and due to the weather I got a call from the technician saying he couldn’t perform the task to my lawn which I completely understand. I then called back to reschedule my services. The day of the rescheduled service I called because I had some questions about the services and confirmed my appointment for the day. I had someone home all day waiting to have the technician come out. I got home around 6 and nothing had been done no call what so ever. I called Senske spoke to a nice gentleman he apologized and said normally they are done for the day by that time, I should’ve received a call from the technician. He let me know he would send an alert to the technician have him or a supervisor call to see what the hold up was. No one ever called me so I called today to cancel my services. When asked why I gave my reason due to having to reschedule more than once no calls ever being made as to what happened or why they couldn’t come out. Unfortunately their response was ok that is done you are cancelled. No apology for the inconvenience. I will take my business elsewhere which is unfortunate because they did a great job at my mother’s house.

Ive had good/great service for 6+ years, but since becoming more corporate their communication between Washington and the local crew is awful. I added aspen borer tree treatment to my service last summer to begin this season. I expected it would happen in the early spring, but it wasnt done until August. In the meantime, Ive lost 3 trees to the borers. Perhaps theres nothing that could have been done, but I cant help but feel that the service I asked for wasnt very proactive to prevent this.Im also getting really tired of leaving my yard unsecured after getting an automated voicemail stating when lawn services are taking place, and then its a no-show. I dont know what to expect, so I leave my gate unlocked thinking it will happen the following day? No, not the case. Eventually, I get another automated message with a new date. I feel like my gate has been unlocked more than locked this summer.I really miss being able to pick up the phone and immediately get a person. Now I get to navigate an automated menu and get hung up on much of the time before ever getting to a person. This is getting really old and Im likely going shopping for service with a more local/personal touch again.

If it was not for you I would have once again had to spend around 1000 dollars this season fighting my neighbors weed problem that would just pour into my yard and in turn stress the relationship between the two of us...my yard has never been this full and green I had to sharpen the blade of my mower because my lawn is so thick now thanks so much.. sincerely the guy with the best lawn in the neighborhood

Jon Fry was highly acknowledgeable when it came needs of my home both inside and out. He answered my questions when it came to all of my trees, lawn and the annoying spiders I have cruising my house 24/7. With the little children I have running around spiders is the last thing I want on my mind. For a couple of years we thought that lawn tech was the best out there but since being sold to another company we have noticed a real drop in service and quality of the service. This year our experience has been that the technicians show up on your door step and then call to see if they can do the services. The services provided have been below par the weeds remain in the lawn the insects remain on your property, and we have had our fruit trees sprayed with no real results on the aphids, and other insects infecting the trees, also we received a notice in the mail that we still owed a balance on our account, (we have rentals and always pay the full charges on all invoices) after talking to the customer service people and waiting two days for their accounting department to find all the invoices and checks that have been paid we are still waiting and waiting, the accounting on our account seems to be really lacking. We are customers that always pay on time, they have not been able to find a check that we have proof has been processed through their bank. We will be looking for a more local company.

The last several years we received good service. This year there has always been an excuse why tech cant spray. Tech noted on Spring application that I just received by email, that the gate was locked, yet when he called me that day he couldnt spray because he thought it to windy, it wasnt. Today he managed to leave note on door but couldnt be bothered to ring door bell or call..I was home. After several years of excellent service, its very disappointing.

Set up an appointment over the phone and waited all day for the tech to show up (8am-5pm window). They never came and didn’t notify me or contact me in any way afterward. When I called to reschedule a few days later, the operator said she would figure out what happened and call me back. She never did. Not the best first impression. I had my trees sprayed for aphids and bugs a couple weeks ago. The past few days we have had bugs all over the patio furniture. This morning I get in my truck and have tiny bugs coating the truck. 1000s all over the windows and doors. Get home and find branches of the trees BLACK, completely covered with black bugs/aphids. I am disgusted and mortified. I can’t even park in my driveway. I called to notify them of my gross and disgusting issue. All I get is a call center person that cant speak clear English and can’t tell me anything!!! I now have to wait 24-48 hours for someone to call me back. I do appreciate the prepaid service I have received.

Recently bought a home with a sprinkler system that Lawn Tech has serviced for the last few years. I had some trouble getting it going, and so I called to see if they could help. It was a busy time of year, but Brady M. worked around my lunch break and got there the very next day. I had weeping white birch trees and every Spring Senske LawnTech prevents borers from killing them out. I see lots of the same trees dying around town but mine are beautiful! They also pruned them a few years back. Really value having a team of experts help me out with my property!

If you want a company that plans work and follows thru, this ISNT the company to use. I waited three different Fridays for them to spray and they never showed up. We have dogs so we were trying to plan with them but then they would show up whenever and tell us they couldnt spray the back yard. I would call the supervisor and ask about the the schedule and he said it would take days to schedule. Usually you can just pull up the calendar and make changes. They would also never return calls. If I scheduled like them no one would have water or power.

Have had lawn tech for 15 years. Have been in my new house with an established yard for 5. After 5 years of using lawn tech my lawn looks worse than it did before they started. Called numerous times last year and complained the dandelions, broadleaf and quack grass were taking over my lawn. The condition of my lawn is horrible. I prepay every year for the service and have to call to get on the schedule every spring after I see the trucks in my neighborhood. This year I called and they scheduled the appointment. I come home to find a note that says dogs were home. Well yes they were, but they were inside with my daughter. So I rescheduled. I was assured the tech would call 30 min prior to his arrival to avoid this from happening again. The appointment was between 8 and 12. Around 11 I called to see if he was close. Apparently he had already been to my house and sprayed, yet my daughter was home again and never heard the gate. With two dogs they would have alerted her. This was about a week ago. I go out to check my mail and a dandelion patch was the healthiest in my yard. I called today completely frustrated and asked for my pre paid service to be cancelled and my remaining services to be refunded. I am so disappointed. I hope this review is beneficial to those who are considering lawn tech, or current customers that have been experiencing the same issue. Like I said before, my lawn is worse now than it has ever been. I would not recommend them.

I didnt have the chance to see if theyre lawn service actually worked or not. After the second lawn treatment, they charged my bank account THREE times for $60. When I sent them a copy of my bank statement and asked them to fix it, they denied taking the money out and brushed me off as if I were making it up. It gave me the feeling that they were trying to pocket the extra cash. Thats completely unacceptable. Ill be keeping my money very far away from these people.UPDATE: I have yet to receive a response to my email from this company, and they still havent reversed the extra charges. The owner can apparently respond to these reviews within an hour of posting them, yet cant fix a billing error after DAYS of waiting. It looks very much like they are trying to STEAL from customers.

The lawn is always healthy and without weeds, the pest control is effective, and the sprinkler system is spot on. You don’t typically get to meet the technicians but Brady Madsen who repaired and started my system was super friendly and a consummate professional. I paid nearly $300 to have their “full year service” for my lawn. I’m in and out of town during the summer so I figured I would pay a premium price and not have to worry about my lawn as well as paid a premium for another company to take care of the mowing. This was to avoid having to worry about my (already nicely taken care of yard) while I was coming and going this summer. After doing their full summer “guaranteed service” and multiple attempts of “spot treatments” I finally had someone come out to my house 2 weeks after their final spray of the season so they could see for themselves the horrible results. When he showed up he was EMBARRASSED at how horrible the treatments worked. “EMBARRASSED that they didn’t do their job.” He took pictures of the weeds throughout the yard and close up pictures of how healthy and alive the weeds all were to prove to his supervisor the sprayer or treatments didn’t do their job, and “appears they have never sprayed once the whole year.” He assured me he was going to take it to his supervisor and get this “embarrassment” under control. The results were so bad he had to look up my account to prove I had them out every month plus some. He then follows up a week later to tell me it’s MY FAULT the treatments didn’t work. It’s MY FAULT their records only show I called in 1 time to request ADDITIONAL service (I called more than once as you’ll see in the next paragraph, but oh they have no record of it). Every bill I sent in I would remind them in the “special comments/request” portion to do spot treatments, no weeds are dying, but oh, they have no record of that either. It’s MY FAULT they didn’t take the time to look down at the ground for themselves while they spray every month to see the condition of my yard. No matter how you look at it they made it clear everything was MY FAULT.I didnt want to make time to write this review, but with how quick this guy went from my yard being an embarrassment to LawnTech and accepting SOME responsibility- to we will take care of it especially because what youve paid and the program you were on- to my “supervisor” says up yours- I’m more than happy to explain exactly what happened. I will hand it to them for cleverness. Because when I would call throughout the summer to tell them it’s not working so they can do “spot treatments” they would say, “you have to give it 2 weeks before our last spray will start working.” After 2 weeks you call and say it’s not working and they say, “Oh, you’re passed your 2 weeks. You have to call within 2 weeks of our last application to tell us it’s not working for us to come out.” And the most classic of them all is when you call on the exact day of 2 weeks they tell you, “the government doesn’t allow us to spray anymore chemicals. It’s a government thing, sorry.”Bottom line I gave this company the max amount of money on their full summer service with their “guaranteed” crap to take care of the lawn and in their own words, it was “embarrassing” how bad of a job they did. They find every reason to pin their failing “guarantee” on the customer. After blaming everything on me, they stopped responding to me to get this resolved after I sent picture upon picture for their supervisor of weeds throughout the yard. Perhaps they were too embarrassed.Judging by the other comments it looks like their priority may be strictly commercial accounts is the only assumption I can come up with for their lack of consideration, and more power to them if that’s their business model. I’m writing this review to show how they treat an average joe and how valuable that “guarantee” is. There’s plenty of other companies out there to choose from, go with someone else, or take care of your yard on your own.

LawnTech has been doing our landscaping and lawn maintenance for 25 years and we couldnt be more happy with them. They are great to deal with and knowledgeable in their field. They have taken the extra time to help us with any issues that have arose. The owner Kurt took it upon himself to personally resolve an issue with our lawn when we had trouble trying to keep it green. Weve had several companies try to compete at LawnTechs level but they have been unsuccessful. I would highly recommend LawnTech for any landscaping and lawn care needs.

Horrible public relations! They sent me a bill that said if I paid for the whole season I would get a discount and a bug treatment. When I called to pay the manager refused to honor their own ad! I have been a customer for years but was treated horribly. I dont recommend this company at all.

Scheduled a time to get my sprinklers repaired and adjusted. They said they would call me back and schedule a time. Week later I hadnt heard anything so I called them back. They said they would have someone out there in two days.At that time I also requested a lawn treatment for dandelions. They said they would schedule that.Tech came out and looked at my sprinklers and said roots had moved them. He said he didnt have the tools to remove the roots and I was on my own but they charged me anyway. He showed me which direction I should cut the roots. I did it as he said and cut right through the line.After several days they called me and said the tech for the spray would be there the next day. Never heard from them.3 days later they call me again and said the tech would be out the following day. I asked them what time so I could meet them (need to unlock the gate and put my dog away) and he said early morning. 8am to 10am. At 12:30 I still hadnt heard from them so I called and cancelled.Save your time and just spray yourself. As for the sprinklers, as long as its a head replacement or something simple they can do it, but if its something simple you can do it too.Dont waste your time and money on these guys. They deserve NEGATIVE stars.

Im not one to complain on public forums, unless it is more than justified. That being said, this is one of those occasions.Ive had Lawn-Techs services through 4 of their treatments. After the second treatment, I called and asked to have the 3rd treatment cancelled. Before the 4th treatment rolled around I called and asked for services to be cancelled until the spring of next year. 2 days before the 4th treatment (that I thought I had cancelled), I got a called from their office asking if my lawn would need further service. I told them that I had wouldnt need anything until the next spring and that I did not need anything else.This afternoon I noticed a few flags in my yard. I called to see if they had come to spray, they said that I had only cancelled the 3rd service but that they record theyre telephone calls with customers and they would review the phone call and get back to me. They had no record of the call they had made to me 2 day prior and stated that I needed to pay. I paid, but wont use them for further services.TL;DR: No problems until I cancelled service. They called to confirm I had cancelled 2 days before treatment, they treated my lawn 2 days later and said they had no record of my canceling.

Quoted a price then received a bill for more than what they said.After calling them I figured out they signed me up for the full year service without my consent and without any communication.Three weeks later my lawn is full of dandilions. Their spot treatment for weeds failed.This company lacks integrity. There are some bad business practices going on here.

Kim and Kurt’s team at Lawntech have helped keep my commercial property and home landscaping look beautiful for years. Our office landscape was originally designed with plants that were the wrong fit, too big, wrong Mgr type for location, etc.... Lawntech came out and educated us on the right type of plants to use based on the light and location to the building. Then their crew came out and rebuilt the landscape at a reasonable price. Years later everything is perfectly sized and beautiful. Our lawns have been weed free for years. If a weed shows up, Lawntech shows up and kills it dead, they never hassle us when we call, they want to help. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else and neither should you.

We had a problem with bugs in our place. No idea how they were getting in, but we would find them on the floor in the bedrooms and under anything that was left on the floor. With small kids I didnt want something really invasive. Had Paul from LawnTech come out and sprayed the whole house, around the baseboards and windows. The stuff he used had almost no smell and it was quiet enough our 18 month old didnt even wake up. 6 Months later, we havent seen a bug since that week and that was a dead one. Excellent stuff, would recomend to anyone who wants great pest control.

Lawn Tech ruined my lawn. I have requested for them to come fix the problem 3 times now. They are full of excuses but not solutions. I asked today to speak to a manager and no one called me back. I called in yesterday and no one answered. I messaged them on the weekend via Facebook and they told me they would call the next day. I called the day before that and they said someone would call me. I have yet to receive a phone call addressing the situation. My initial contact was over two weeks ago. A person inside the company told me something was wrong with the company but they could not tell me what exactly other than a lot of lawns they manage have the same problem.Today 8/4/16 a manager called and came over with some fertalizer.

They sprayed our lawn in a downpour of rain... when I complained I was told they would repeat in seven or so days because thats what the state of idaho requires between aplications... when they came and resprayed the applicator spot sprayed the few dandelions and left... my yard is full of broadest and thistle.. my calls where never returned and they demanded payment on their shotty service.. this company is a far we and a joke.

Dont Do It!!!! We paid for a full year of service and receive little to NO service. We requested a quote for them to do a sprinkler system and were told they would be out within 5 days. After 8 WEEKS of the same comment we went with someone else. Our trees had scale on them and we were told the trees were treated and that the scale would fall off in 7 days. After 7 days ALL of my trees had scale. I took a sample branch to a tree expert and he told me there was NO way my trees were treated. Calls to Kim Johnson, manager, have gone unanswered and I am DONE!!!!! WORSE SERVICE EVER!!!!!
